Great theatre, amazing actors, will visit many more times!

Went there for Moment Improv Festival show and it was really nice small theater, would recommend going to see a show there

This Theater is a of what modern Theater me be. Just the Idea of transforming the [ “Artifical Brand” – Shakespear ] into a new, somehow, “ Multimedia – Performance “, nearly without screens; gives as enough Ideas of the general question: “ Worldwide – Theater “ . With restricted budget they cannot »masque« the audience, the just have the cue cards: Skill, creativity and technique under restrictions. For sure not everything is new; but it will be time worth spended – for various reasons, … just depending on the specific mood you are into this evening. If you like it; take your time – explore the environment …. Don’t try to dispute what was first: “Environment or Theater”; … this is nor the qu…… .

We visited TAG as part of the improv festival.Since I couldnt buy tickets online (only credit card payment possible - but not possible without a credit card), I was able to get hold of tickets over the phone - with a very personable, accommodating and friendly employee (the last ones as well 🎉🎊). Thanks a lot for this!The performance was really great and it calls for more of it.I am really happy to finally be able to enjoy culture again and look forward to everything that is still to come! 🤓☺

Played amazingly, almost 2 1/2 hours without a break. Hats off to the staging too. It was dead quiet in the audience, thats a good sign. The fight was terrifying.

I liked the productions I saw here. no over-abstract works, but tangible, accessible approaches to staging. The ensembles are always there with passionate commitment.The theaters equipment is quite rudimentary, not exactly comfortable plastic chairs and relatively limited technical means on the stage. For an occasional 2 hour visit, however, thats not a big problem.But the employees should intensively follow a etiquette of etiquette. Arrogant, unsympathetic demeanor, unnecessary sayings with a disparaging tone. Here one or the other thinks youre a great artist if you check 3G certificates or hand out tickets. Unfortunately, confirms once again that the cliché of the female employees in this segment of the industry.

Sport on site was really fun, with dedicated actors, a very entertaining host and great music! It is getting quite warm in the hall, but the break comes at the best time!

Great pieces, great actors.The Cherry Orchard of Chekhov was a great production with outstanding actors and a clear, contemporary social criticism. Card reservation via the web works well and free seat choice is less stressful than expected.

Great off-theater with a great mix in the program. Improvisational theater, reworking of older material, contemporary authors ... The TAG endeavors to interpret theater in a contemporary way in a modern era, and is successful in doing so.

One of my absolute favorite theaters in Vienna. Every single staging Ive seen here - and there have been a few - has been great, fast and intense! Great recommendation!

The play The Rats was very innovative + entertaining. Does not need to shy away from the direct comparison to the contemporary Burgtheater production. The performance of Mrs. John was emotionally more expressive than in the castle.

Nice ambience, but the acoustics are not that good and it can get pretty hot.

A practical performance venue. The artists dressing rooms, however, offer hardly any space. Lighting technology okay.

The TAG mostly presents pieces that are based on classics that have been adapted with current topics. Great ensemble. Theater that entertains but also invites you to reflect.

Especially the classic remakes are highly recommended.

Adorable little theater with a very interesting schedule. Demanded by pieces also off the classical canon (improv theater, for example)Only problem: in the summer very warm and many stairs to go.

The TAG is a gem of the Viennese theater scene and always worth a visit! The brilliant new treatments of classic fabrics are particularly outstanding. The ensemble almost always manages to bring the tension (s) and emotions in the medium-sized audience space to the last corner.But even the improv evenings in the TAG are something special and worth experiencing. The regular impro-players of the Sport on site are big and twos anyway. already known from radio and television, but even with evenings with guest groups, I have never had a disappointing evening despite improper permission for failure. Maybe because the stage and hall are a bit bigger than at other impro-venues and that gives the teams that extra kick ...The small bar offers essentials (water, wine, beer, juice, nibbles and Co.) as a refreshment - seating outside the hall is in short supply.
