Rooms are very wide and beds are comfortable. Bathroom is equipped. Tv is big and with lot of channels. I ordered room service but they didn’t bring salt and pepper and it took him 10 minutes to get it so I ate without it which wasn’t good. Also I went to the wedding in the club house they bring tea without sugar. I think waiters need training.

My favorite hotel now in the World The staff and service were excellent. Everyone was very friendly and made us feel welcomed. The concierge provided great insight and some wonderful restaurant recommendations. The facility was very nice and the food was very tasty. Very nice hotel and the location was very good and closed to everything excellent hotel and location. People are very helpful and the rooms are really comfortable. Swimming pool and spa open 24/24 very practical for relaxing. Very nice hotel located in Egypt . Very comfortable The rooms are well laid out, have plenty of room and are perfectly clean. The hotel is very good, clean, very helpful friendly stuff, I enjoyed my time there but, my concerns were that rooms are old which needs renovation and swimming pool seats also weren’t the best they need change. I tried food on the pool it is good and not too expensive compared with other hotels in the same level

The hotel is extremely clean and well kept. The food is amazing and the variety is great. Excellent breakfast buffet. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. The swimming pools are great and the room was great. Overall, it was a great experience! I am looking forward to going back in the future. Also, I highly recommend Cucina, the Italian restaurant. The food is delicious, the service is great and the atmosphere is wonderful.

Best experience ever. My family and I had a wonderful time in the hotel. The hotel is old but has nice facilities including huge lobby, nice restaurants, beautiful outdoors, many nice swimming pools. Mr. Majdi Sami, front desk rep made our stay more relaxing and comfortable where I would like to thank him very much for his support. In fact, all the hotel staff were very welcoming and supportive. Definitely, the JW became my home in Cairo.

Great service and friendly staff, hotel is showing its age and some maintenance is really required. Expensive compared to newer better hotels. Pity. Well equipped gym and the pool is great for length.

Where do I start - as a JW it not does not live up to the name . I doubt the GM walks around and sees the state of all the things that need renovations or cleaning - I doubt the head of rooms sees all the work that can be done to rooms to live up to a JW name - all in all its OK but you can tell there is a lack of supervision . In terms of service it boils down to who you are dealing with - I met some good people and others who could not be bothered - I personally had 3 separate incidents in one day where I had to speak to a supervisor. Lastly as a guest I was given a vehicle pass/card by the reception to park my car for free- when I was leaving I was told I need to pay a special rate for hotel residents of 135 pounds when I said that I was told no such thing by reception I received no response and when I inquired how much do non hotel guests pay for their car he said also 135 pounds - so I asked how was my rate a special rate as a hotel guest the same as a visitor - how is my rate special since we both pay the same - no response except thats what management said - I paid and left because of the honking of cars behind me and the bizarre nature of the conversation- sad to see such wasted potential for a property by the name of JW - I blame management or the lack of !

This Marriott is disappointing and underwhelming. The parking structure smells of sewage and doesn’t have enough signs. The hotel in general is missing signs. We asked more than one employee how to get to our room; some told us the wrong directions while others told us they didn’t know. There were no accessibility ramps, so we had to carry our stroller up the stairs leading to the elevator?!We asked for a baby crib upon check-in, only to get it well over an hour and a half later. Our room is a junior suite but the plug in our bathroom doesn’t work. The jacuzzi is dirty and keeps spitting out dirt. The ice maker is disgusting and filthy.The customer service here is terrible. A representative called to tell us they have ran out of the welcome gift we’ve chosen, but was yelling at me. How rude and unprofessional.The executive lounge apparently bans children. We have a baby. It’s not like we can leave our child alone. We’ve been to multiple Marriotts all over the world and this wasn’t an issue.Don’t come here if you are expecting good service. I don’t have the chance to complain about all the terrible things here, but I hope this gives you an idea about the terrible quality.

Bathroom products were used. Small roaches were in the bathtub. The room itself needs a face-lift. While it is spacious with a good layout, it feels and looks extremely dark and dingey. The additional safety lock on my bedroom door doesnt work and the mattress is firmer than I would like. Also, guests are not required to wear masks. Yes, there are signs posted around but no one enforces the use of masks. Staff are all in masks, but many guests are not. Wouldnt stay here again or recommend this hotel. Another thing is that the place smells like cigarettes, but that might just be an Egypt thing. One bonus is that its close to the airport.

The place used to be nice. Now it is getting old with low maintenance. We like to go to the beach (pool) with kids. Unfortunately sometimes they have a weeding so part of the area is closed. It is sad what happened to this place.

The experience was phenomenal. Best ribeye steak I had in years. The pepper was so fresh and an amazing add to the steak. The staff is amazing and so helpful.I was so excited so I ordered dessert although i was full 🤭I had white chocolate lava cake. OH MY GOD!the portion was small and it got me dissappointed. But it was heavy in a good way. And the portion is just enough.Was a positive experience and totally wil go back there again.

Poor service, the quality of the room is very poor I requested a lighter and the charged me 10 Egypt pound where I can get it for 5 Egypt pound. The food from talabat is not allowed in the hotel which you have to pay for expensive food in the hotel restaurant. where I pay more the 200 dollars a night. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and will never come again.

Great place as a staycation for a quick getaway, suitable for solo ppls, couples, a families. Although 25 minutes away from heliopolis, yet you feel you really got disconnected from everyday routine.

From the moment my family and I entered the Marriott we felt a sense of relaxation hit us. The calm energy of the hotel is a delightful reprieve from the chaos of Cairo. The desk staff was fantastic in making check in seamless and fast (we were able to check in early which was lovely!) we stayed in a double garden room. The decor is tasteful and classic and It was wonderful to have our little outdoor area to enjoy the sunset and drink coffee. One of the best features of the hotel are the pools. The kids area was a hit with our daughter. I love the Luxor pool as I call it, the wave pool was so much fun and the main pool has a great atmosphere. The lunch we had poolside was soooooo good! The taste and portions were awesome and honestly unexpected! The staff as the pool were so attentive to our needs and never too far away while still respecting privacy. Breakfast the next morning was great and the staff was super accommodating to our mix and match choices. We were able to check out late (again thank you reception) and we enjoyed the pools once more as well as a great nap (you guys have fantastic down feather pillows) 😍 I have only wonderful things to say and would recommend this hotel to anyone who values relaxation, luxury and world class service.

To my surprise; the stay was a disappointment overall. From the secnd we checked in, till the second we checked out.We wanted to spend a great day as its right our best friends wedding, so we wanted to pamper her & celebrate, and we got an awful experience instead.Definitely not going back anytime soon.

We booked a room to use from 10am to 11pm since we are flying back home and at first impressions we (rest of the family) knew we made a mistake booking at St.Reges Downtown.This hotel is huge and has so much of atmosphere.The rooms are not fancy , quite old but very comfortable.Nice size balcony for a nice view.The TV in this room is a small (46?) which is is ridiculous since its placed on a unit in the middle of the room far away from the sofa and the bed. A 65 would be the minimum size for this room.Bathroom is also big with a jacuzzi bathtub and a big shower.First class amenities as always from Marriott hotels.Executive Lounge good selection was very limited but it was open so thats a huge plus point. Had great service from the manager making sure we were served with whatever we needed.Theres the Citystars Heliopolis shopping mall thats a 15 to 20 minute drive from here which is a proper mall. Well worth the visit.The drive to the pyramids and other attractions are not that bad as well.I will definitely consider staying here when I return to Cairo in 10 years time.

Fantastic location and great appealing landscape however the rooms need serious updating and modernizedMost of amenities were worn out.Reception staff seemed confused and unable to process the check in on the arrival.Although it is during COVID-19 circumstances the measures in place are fairly decent several people walking around the lobby and cafe area without mask or wearing the mask under their noses.Staff absconding from interaction with guests, having to ask for the same request several times it shows lack of caring for a guest.Overall a lackluster experience for a famed JW Marriott property which boast about its outstanding standards and luxury.

I have been invited into a wedding and I was very shocked by what the service was very good on the party the waiter was really unprofessional he dropped on me 3 glasses of guava juice on my expensive suit it was really bad I was very disappointed winter visitor to the reception ask for a room to have a shower the night manager was very kind you give me have changed my clothes went back again to the Party and they charged me£3,000 for using the room my suit was most and it writes to me not clean the guava juice all

Didnt have the best welcoming 5 star hotel should haveRoom was good but the tea water heater was broken, some of the people on the service line speaks to fast making u feel like ur calling for a free service and not a paid 5 star hotel.The hotel could do better being a 5 star Marriott hotelSome of the reception staff were the best and also the cleaning staff.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel and phenomenal service!

Although I stayed in a standard room but it was was so good, spacious with a pretty nice bathroom and a good view, the whole sleeping experience was good, I highly recommend. Over there you get that feeling that you’re completely out of Cairo, which is needed sometimes.However, the breakfast experience was a total mess (it took too long to serve and at the end I didn’t get what I asked for), yet on these days I give an excuse for the staff due to the Covid-19 regulations.

The rooms need modernization as they look the same as they were when I last stayed here 15 years ago. The golf course is still the main reason I chose to stay here. At the weekend when the hotel.is busy you need to book a table in the restaurant if you want to eat between 6 and 8 as one of the two restaurants is closed after the brunch service. This is frustrating as they should open the other restaurants that are closed due to reduced customers because of COVID. It does help if you are a regular as the staff do their best to squeeze you in.

Perfect meeting/workshop site. The Clubhouse is highly recommended for that; it includes open-air and closed options. Excellent service.

JW Marriot is an excellent place to take a vacation as a family or just an individual. The restaurants are well priced and the food is to die for. There are a lot of activities to be done. The spa experience is one of a kind. The hotel is full of ammenties for the whole family to enjoy. I stayed in a Junior suite. I had access to the executive lounge which is the perfect place to catch up on a little work in the morning or even to relax and have a coffee.

Huge Investment in infrastructure , 7 stars level.
