When you buy Kaplan test prep the most valuable thing you are buying is help with scheduling out what to study for an exam and when. If you have no idea where to start in your studying or how to gather the materials for you test then this is a wonderful resource and they will help you get organized. However the actual learning materials such as access to videos are prone to minor (but none the less careless) mistakes. The books consolidate review nicely but you will find better explanations almost ANYWHERE else. For example if you are looking for someone to walk you step by step through problem areas in studying you have already identified use khan academy or youtube. YouTube can be scary because there can be videos with misinformation but the number of online lectures that are competing for viewership really makes a lot of these resources excellent and above and beyond any explanation Kaplan will attempt to provide.
