I recently had a routine eye exam with Dr. Zeek and honestly I had no idea that an eye exam could be so good. She really took the time to explain everything that she was doing and everything that she saw during the exam - I’ve NEVER had an optometrist walk me through the images of my retina before and it was actually super informative! She patiently answered all my questions from the basic to the technical and I never once got the feeing that she was anything less than excited to nerd out about eyes. She noticed things that have never come up in any other visit with multiple different doctors and really listened to me when I talked about what I see. It was very validating and I came away feeling very heard and knowing more about my own vision. I had no idea that a routine vision visit could be anything but perfunctory but I’m very happy that Dr. Zeek proved me wrong. I came away seeing better and feeling better, I don’t know what else you could ask for.

Optometrists here are great. They’re nice and will explain things in as much detail as you care to hear. I had a follow up appt for a possible eye infection and they wouldn’t let me pay them haha!Get yo eyes checked here!

I’ve seldom met anybody as passionate about their profession as Dr. Zeek. In fitting me for contacts and answering my questions, she joyously demonstrated how giving the gift of sight is her life’s mission. As a result, I have perfect corrected vision and know more about my eyes than I realized I wanted to know. Do your eyes a favor and go see Dr. Zeek — she cares about them even more than you do.

I hadn’t been to the eye doctor in over a decade (I have pretty good vision). I had a great experience. The staff were very friendly, no surprise eye dilation, and I ended up buying reading glasses that I am really happy with.

I heard an advertisement for Eyes on Fremont on NPR one day and decided I needed a new experience for my eyewear. I also needed an update on my prescription. My eyes had changed and I knew I was entering the “reading glasses” stage. My appointment at CFast was easy, comfortable and super helpful. It was actually a fun experience, to have the exam and then go out the door and have another team of people ready to find me my new frames! Awesome experience!

THE BEST FAMILY OPTOMETRIST IN THE WORLD. Dr. Fast is always focused on the patients eye health.Super clean & comfortable clinic, friendly and professional staff all provide a healthy Covid-free environment.

Being new to progressive lenses, I was talked into inserting a computer area between the reading and distance prescriptions which of course increased the cost. That tiny area has never enabled me to focus on a computer screen without constant shifting in and out of the focus area. It also interferes with my distance sight especially at night while driving.More significantly I paid $400 for the lenses and $100 for frames out of pocket, and 3 MONTHS after my last exam, these people found a way to charge me another $200. Their rationale? Somehow it took them 3 months to figure out what my insurance covered and what it didnt. Right. It is unacceptable business practice to blindside someone with a $200 bill they were responsible for presenting at time of services - if it was legitimate in the first place. And under the circumstances I seriously doubt that it is.As far as Im concerned, this business cant be trusted and youre taking a risk with your money walking into this place.

I got called to come in early, did that, had a very thorough exam, and then got to pick out the frames I wanted. Worked out wonderfully

With the pandemic in effect, I realized I needed some contacts to go with my mask instead of wearing the heavy glasses all the time and they accommodated me at a fair price, everyone masked and safe, and I was able to get in and out with a new pair of contacts, ordered more and they have been just great.

This is a small, very friendly optical store in a convenient north Fremont location. It has an attractive and active waiting room shared with their associated eyeglass store. The doctor and assistants are fast and organized and willing to answer every question. Equipment is up-to-date as is the appointment and reminder system.

Dr Fast is the most patient, effective Optonetrist I have ever seen. I am 58 and have worn glasses since I was 5 years old. Every other doctor has told me thats as good as it gets for you. Meanwhile Dr Fast worked with me until we achieved 2030 vision. She is a talented doctor.

Dr. Kwon will make sure you are seen on time for your appointment and is always available to answer patient questions, even without an appointment. The techs are friendly and do their best to work out any insurance or billing issues. Also the space is funky and neat, they share a space with the optical side (Eyes on Fremont).

I had a WONDERFUL visit to the glasses store and a painless and fast optometry visit. Unfortunately, those positives dont compensate for dishonest billing for the optometry department... I love Eyes on Fremont (the eyeglass store that CFast is inside of), and had a great experience with Dr. Fast, but Dr. Kwon is off-putting and at times openly rude. He even said, literally, “you’ve wasted my time” TO A PATIENT. Truly unbelievably bad experience here.
