Tried this place twice the kalbi was great and worth the price. Unfortunately my second order wasnt that great, the picture looked great for 17.99 the picture shows large pieces of pork belly but I got 1cm by 2cm slices of pork and maybe 2oz worth instead. Also didnt come with rice for this order but the kabli did come with one. Also be wary of their debit machine as on both occasions the pin pad doesnt work so youll think youre doing something wrong

They food is was good and really cheap. There were so many options.I just hope they clean up their menu so we can read what they offer better. There are many pictures around the store as their menu. Kind of hard to read.But restaurants are about food. And their food was great for the price!

Omg I can’t believe this is the first time I am hearing about this place. If you are craving some yummy Korean food then this is the place to go. Their kimchi fried rice is the bomb and the staff is super friendly. I liked how the food was like piping hot when we brought it back home to eat. Definitely a must try!!!

Server had quiet a bit of attitude even though i interacted with her for less than 5 minutes and we were the only customers they were serving. A Korean family went in and they were enthusiastically greeted by the same server....We ordered 3 dishes from them and we had only 2 sides: kimchi and radishes.The bimbap has so little meat and the chicken was the same colour as the beef (?)Considering the options in the area, Im fairly disappointed

Among many Chinese restaurants in this plaza, there is this Korean restaurant. Famous food here is Kamjatang, which is pork neckbone soup. The Ddoek Boggi is also good. It comes beef and fish cake in it. All dishes are served with side dish. You can order take out here and also Doordash is available. mmmmm mashisayo!

I often take my friends to this restaurant with my warmest recommendations. I go their often. This recommendation is always successful. The the food there is appetizing and the team is welcoming and cooperative. Every time we visit this place we have a lovely time. I recommend this place with pleasure.

So happy to have found a pork bone soup restaurant that does it right. Appetizers are also just as good and it truly reminds me of Korea. Food is authentic and the owners are fantastic!

Super Hot and not A.C.

Terrible. No flavor, no taste.I love Korean food. I eat a lot and have eaten at dozens of Korean restaurants.This one is just not it. It took them less than 5 minutes to serve the food. You cannot possibly serve any food in less than 5 minutes unless it was already ready and you just put it together. That is exactly what I got.The $15 Bibimbap was served in a plastic bowl, cucumber were cut as big thick round pieces so couldnt even mix, beef was cold, rice was cold. They gave hot sauce with it but no flavor what so ever. Overall the dish was cold and flavorless.Tteokbokki (spicy rice cake) 2 different kinds were mixed together. Long ones and small sliced ones. I have never seen this before. Flavor was just ok. Came with sushi was served with no soya sauce or wasabi. All sushi pieces were same and again no flavor.I didnt even bother leaving tips. What for....How this place is still in business and how people eat here is beyond my understanding. Maybe they were just having a bad day and I happened to be the victim, I have no clue. But I will never be going here again for sure. For $45 for 2 dishes, I at least expect come sort of half decent food with proper plates not plastic containers.

Another good korean restaurant in Scarborough area. Very welcomed to the place.Foos came fast was very well prepared and a good amount of bones in Ganja Tang. Bimbap was good and huge as well. Good quality of food and cozy place.Waitress was very friendly as well. Good restaurant to be recommended to anyone who likes korean food. Good options, not sure if they have Jajangmyeon.

More expensive than other Korean restaurants, no small dishes for customers, mandatory tips, and food taste not good, also there even no tea or water for customers, only tap water. Will never come again!

Food is consistent and service is fast. The new menu is nice adding more options to the kamjatang. Side dishes usually include cabbage kimchi, cold tofu, pickled cucumber and radish with spicy radish.

I love this restaurant! They provide first-cleass food, they have a nice menu, The chef in that restaurant is a professional, I love a lot trying all their dishes. The food is always tasty, the attitude towards the customers is nice. I often eat in this place and I not even once was disappointed. I recommend it to all my friends.

Consistently good pork bone soup!

Horrible meal, advertised pork and got all pork fat not a single piece of meat. My friend order beef and he got a very tiny portion of beef. Rather go somewhere and spend more and get better quality food.

The food is okay but they recently raised the prices substantially which makes me reconsider whether to come back again.

I go with my wife to this great spot quite a bit! This is my favorite place to pass a nice evening. I go there many times. The cooking is very good, the workers are welcoming and the price is good. I enjoy being in this spot to have a rich meal.

Food is always good and reasonably priced, I noticed recently they increased there menu prices to like a $1 or $2 which kind of sucks. Portion is great. This is more or fast food Korean joint when your hungry and quickly fill u up.Dont expect excellent customer service, their English is not that great and they have a hard time understanding your order. Just keep it simple.Ambience is old looking and needs an upgrade. Small compact place can fit maybe under 30 people. Place is not that clean especially during peak times u dont see anyone cleaning the floors. Theres rice and food on the floor.

Been here a couple times for takeout during COVID, both times I was scolded for taking too long to show up when they did not give a time on the phone (I still arrived within 20 minutes of ordering). I was also overcharged and given the wrong order. While the food is okay, the service is lacking.

Im a regular customer at Owl and I like really like the atmosphere. Google labelled the restaurant permanently closed, but they just changed their business name. I went back after the name change and the employees, food, atmosphere, environment, everything is greater than ever!

Their customer service is pretty bad. You have to really try and grab their attention before they come to your table. Food is so so.

Comes here every week for Kamjatang, food is great, but today I waited 45 minutes 4 groups order after us already got their food. we just left very disappointed. can we fix this!!!

I would give them -5 stars if I can. I ordered Kamjatang and they gave me a samjatang, insisting I ordered it, saying I said that number when I literally just said “kamjatang.” After that they just avoided our table until we walked up to the counter to pay our bill.

Okay so here the deal if i wear to rate every aspect of this place it would be way less than a 3 but im being nice. First off when you step inside the greet you with is kinda nice and welcoming but when you look around you see this run down like pretty ... umm not clean place lets say. I really did like the food served here but i dunno if i would say its was the most delicious food ive tasted. I got a couple items the bulgogi was pretty dry would of liked more sauce on it and had way too many onions compared to the meat like they almost put a whole onion in there... the second thing in dislike but not entirely their fault was my order of noodle gamjatang the soup was good taste by the noodles absorb the soup too fast and not only that the noodles were very hard to pick up so if u were to get that dish maybe ask for the noodles seperate so u get more soup and not soggy noodles. Ithink everythin ng was decent price but was it work it...no rather of went pho next door or if to a korean place go to sharon garden, near victoria park and mcnicole. Some questions ppl may ask that dont usually is. Did i direahea after eating there? The answer is yes yes i did i wont say it was very painful but deffinitly didnt sit well with my stomach. Last thing i gotta tell ppl is this isnt a resturant altho its called resturant it only have very basic korean foods and more like a fast food place if you want real korean food go to yonge and finch or sharon garden!

The owner of OUR Restaurant are the same owners as before the name changed. Just make sure you dont go to Steeles. Its the original location with the original owners. Beware of the Scarborough location! I just ordered a pickup lunch of Pork Bone soup and was wildly disgusted to find that my soup was stone cold on the inside. It was as if they recycled the meat from the day before and laddle a new mildly hot soup on top.And when i called the place to complaint, the lady on the other end of the line told me that she wasnt the owner of the store so there was nothing she could do...How unprofessional! I guess i wont be going there anymore! There is more than one Korean restaurant in Scarborough you know...

Never going back again. I ordered “beef bulgogi” but they filled the ENTIRE plate with onions. The amount of beef was the size of my pinky. I’ve ordered this dish at other places and they gave a whole plate of beef. So upset and disappointed that I paid $14 for a plate of onions, scraps of beef and sauce.

I had a terrible experience here tonight, mainly due to the poor customer service we received from our waitress. Although I understand that she was the only waitress, and it was a full house, it does not justify the way she treated us.I ordered a bibimbap with chicken (there was choice of chicken or beef). My order arrives and as I start eating it I realized that I was served a bibimbap with beef. I explained to the waitress and she first insists that I ordered beef. I told her no. When she questions me again, I explain that I cant eat beef, so there was no way I could have ordered it. My husband walked up to her counter a short while later and explained to her there was no need for them to waste food, they did not need to make a whole entire new dish, but to please give me some chicken on the side to complete my order because I am not able to eat beef because my teeth are sensitive to chewing beef.She returns to our table later and simply says that they have no chicken left. She offered no solution. I asked her what she could offer me (I was thinking she could at least suggest that I can have another dish, or more vegetables instead). She said that she would take the bibimbap off our order.I did not fight this any further, I simply enjoyed my bibimbap with its vegetables and placed all the beef on a side dish (there was only a small amount of small pieces of beef). To be polite, my husband refrained from eating this beef as well.When our bill arrived, the bibimbap was still on our bill. I approached her at the counter and asked why it was still on the bill when it was the wrong order and she had said that she would removed it from the bill.She said, because I saw you ate most of the beef. I told her about 3-4 times that I did NOT eat any of the beef. She was not convinced. I finally told her, I swear I didnt eat any of it, even if I wanted to, I cant!. She still had the nerve to say, Why cant you?. I was livid. And again I explained to her that my teeth cant handle the beef.But was it right for her to treat me like this? No. I dont see why I had to go through all this trouble, to be blamed for forgetting what I ordered, to be blamed for lying, when i was all her fault for getting my order wrong in my first place. Its as if I go to a restaurant to enjoy a meal, and not only do I not get what I ordered for, but I get questioned.We will never visit this restaurant again. I highly suggest that the staff are re-trained on proper customer service, to treat customers with proper dignity and respect.

We used to go all the time there. Unfortunately the quality has changed and new staff are horrid! They dont care if you are there or not. No clean tables, no rice on some occasions, horrible service. We wont be coming back!

A good Traditional Korean Food with very affordable prices.

Very good food and friendly service. The menu is very clear with descriptions in English. Tried almost all of the menu and if you like Korean food youll love their menu good mix of spicy and non spicy dishes and good standard dishes like bibimbap, taekbogi, kalbi and pork bone soup.
