Considering the city and places to visit, trust me It is one of the good places in satna. Pond and nearby area might not be clean. Also you can find lot of beggars along your way. There are multiple entries in jagat dev talab. In case you wanna come through vehicle have to take different route than normal stairs. Best time to visit is during rainy season you will see pond also neat and clean. Temple is open till 12.30pm and reopen 5 pm. It is crowded during any festival season.Sometimes you can also see fish and migratory birds in the pond.

Jagatdev Talab or Jagat Dev Lake is a Human-made Reservoir in the Heart of the City Satna.The famous Shiv Temple lies at the banks of the Lake and is visited often by Devotees everyday.Municipal Corporation and the Local Public are not understanding the Importance of this Holy Place, Both must understand their responsibility to Conserve this Lake and maintain its Cleanliness.
