It could have been rightly named as Mahadma Ghandhi Chowk. It could have had better land mark to remember with the Satue of the Father of the Nation.

People are following traffic rules with fear of fine...Its good that atleast they are following rules...Gandhiji statue is a landmark of civil line chowk...Statue is maintained by Satna Municipal Corporation (SMC)...

It was developed under Smart City program.. however it was not maintained.. it was maintained again just before the visit of CM Sh. Shivraj Singh ji on 26th January 2K21.It should be developed and maintained properly not just for ministers but for the citizens as well.And the traffic lites there are also not adequate.. there is a time span of 20-30 seconds when traffic/vehicles of all the three sides/roads is stopped, the light works for four sides but there are three sides only.. that should also be checked and rectified.
