When it comes to makeup I feel overwhelmed with everything that is needed. Well we were needing a new foundation and had been looking at a few differentplaces, but with covid there is no way to check your shade. We walked into Sephora and were immediately greeted and asked what we were looking for, and paired with a make up specialist who was able to help select the right shade of foundation plby putting small amounts on a test card and holding it up. She also helped us by telling how its best applied and gave tips on how to do it. They also offer reward points to save up for free items!

Is anyone can explain to me how can I buy a new product, if I cant even try it on?I wanted to buy some stuff. I was asking a salesperson to give me some product on a cotton sponge to put it on my wrist. She gave me an answer that she CANT help me with me request.I Dont want to waste my money if this product doesnt suit me.

I went into sephora today with my girlfriend and 4 year old son. My girlfriend had purchased face cream for $50 yesterday and accidentally bought a refill that did not come with a lid. At the entrance of the store they asked if they could help us, we explained what happened and they took us straight to the face cream and we were able to pick up the correct container that came with a lid and return the one that was purchased yesterday. We asked if they would like us to simply switch the containers so the store wouldnt be left with a container that was not sealed and wouldnt be able to sell it since all we needed was the lid that was not included in the refill package. The girl at the till said no thats ok. She put the new container in a bag for us, and put a sticker on the opened container, and also put it in the bag. I had assumed she was giving us the opened container as we specifically asked if they wanted to switch containers after we had paid the few extra dollars for the exchange. She came running up to us seconds later as we were leaving and said that she needed the other cream back. She had taken it from our bag, which at this point I had realized she had put it in by mistake. Immediately another employee in the store commented about how she had a good eye, as if she had caught is shoplifting. These comments took us from being very pleased with Sephoras generosity for giving us the opened container, as it was clear it wouldnt be able to be resold, to us realizing we misunderstood and the girl at the till mistakenly put it in our bag, to feelings of humiliation and anger for being accused of shoplifting. There were other customers in the store and we were humiliated. I have never been accused of stealing anything in my life, but now in my mid 40s, with my 4 year old son sitting on my shoulders, I find myself and my girlfriend being accused of shoplifting. My girlfriend is black, and this situation makes me wonder if that had some part of the accusation. I am very disappointed that something like this would take place here in Saskatoon! There was no need for the comments made by the other employee which made us look like shoplifters to the other customers, it was humiliating and embarrassing. I will never step foot in this store ever again!

I visited to pick up an in-store order and was tended to very quickly, as the email said I would be. The staff are doing very well considering the current circumstances. Before covid hit, I would visit here every so often for my makeup needs, and the staff have always been friendly and helpful!

I called in line and a prompt associate came out and did my shopping for me! They had a online shopper iPad thing brought out to see my friends recent purchases and I paid within 5 minutes. Amazing service.

Very poor service. Manger is very rude.doesnt treat people with respect. They have to change the Manger. No customer service.

Every time I come in here they will NOT leave me alone. Usually a bare minimum of 3 will come up to me but usually 4 or 5 will come up to me and persistently ask if I need help. This is only if I am wearing makeup though; if I come in with no makeup on, they ignore me and give me snooty looks. Honestly most of my experiences at this Sephora are like this so I never shop in store, only online.

It is my favorite store in Mid-town plaza. Staff are friendly and helpful. I never had a problem getting samples in store or returning items. Even in the busy days, staff are more than friendly and willing to help.

Honestly I cannot stand this Sephora. The customer service is poor, many of the employees are not very knowledgeable and the management is rude. The very first time I set foot in this Sephora I was harassed by an employee who followed me around trying to give me a basket as soon as I walked into the store. Profiling much! I eventually told her I would take a basket if she just left me alone. Today I went in to do an exchange with my gift receipt and the manager Kendra was extremely short and rude to me when I tried to exchange a gift that my friend had sent me using her insider points. So help me I will never support Sephora again. I will re-gift my gift cards and wash my hands of this store and their toxic employees.

Had an absolutely fantastic experience. The girl who helped with colour matching was amazing, super friendly, made me feel very comfortable and I dont really like makeup. It was wonderful and I will absolutely be going back there.

Was with my cousin and cousin in-law shopping, great variety, and friendly staff, willingness to help when needed. Keep up the good work!

This lady nash was so helpful and informative...helped me find right shade of foundation and educate me on color match ,loved it. She helped with all this smile on her face and was very warm all the time.

9/10 times I have great customer service here. Staff are more than happy to show me products and send samples home so that I can try a few before purchasing. I appreciate this as it’s inconvenient to buy a whole bottle of something and realize I don’t like the product or it doesn’t work for me. Nicole is incredibly helpful and willing to help with whatever your looking for!

I was looking for foundation and I was helped by a young man, he helped me find a product, I was perfectly shade matched you cant even tell Im wearing makeup. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. So happy! I will definitely buy in store now instead of online now that I know they have really knowledgable staff and shade match me :) thank you!!

Very nice in store experience everytime I went there. Associates are very helpful when I needed something. However everytime I went there there are something I wanted sold out...if they can keep stock consistently that will be great

So weird, they refused to let me get my birthday month gift in December because I redeemed it in January, which makes no sense, how would that even be possible! The cashier, was smug about her power trip too which didn’t make the situation better.

So impressed! I couldnt remember the brand, but I knew the lipstick colour I was looking for was called M101. The associate I asked knew right away what I was looking for and had the lipstick in my hand in less than a minute. Great service! Friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable.

I recommend shopping on weekdays when the mall is dead. Staff have time to approach you and ask you if you need help. I asked about concealer and what they would recommend, very helpful, I felt pretty and I got to try on the product. I came in another day and another staff memeber recommended the same product. I was testing to see if the store had consisted recommendations and they do. Staff seem to know what they’re doing. Still loving their liquor eye liner and benefit mascara. I felt like a princess when the associate put my make up on haha!

Sad experience. No customer service just snobby attitudes and not a glance in my direction. Went to ask for assistance and the two people on the floor backed away from me and went to gossip on the other side of the store. Im from out of town on a work trip and was hoping to purchase a new kit and get some make up pointers but nope, nothing..

I went there today hoping to see Charlotte Tilbury products in person before ordering online, but she had no idea about this brand. They don’t carry it in Saskatoon store( I saw a trial size magic cream at checkout ) , but this shows how knowledgeable they are / are not about the makeup overall. She looked at me like I am crazy . Asked me to repeat the name 3 times and then she called someone and the person said to order online. I just asked about one of the top makeup brands in the world!!!I am VIB Rouge and never never never get even a sample at this store!

Josie is the best there . Very knowledge. If you need any A skin care products I would not go to anyone but her. However there is a girl by the name Kim I think Who constantly checks on everyone. I dont know if she is a supervisor or something but she made me feel like I was trying too many products. She kept telling me that I had to make a reaervation next time . After I was done with Josie I went to exchange my eye brow product and another nice girl was applying it on my eyebrows to make sure that it was the right color. That annoying Kim said I could not get 2 makeovers which I wasnt getting and made the girl that was helping me to leave me with one eye brow done ! How pathetic! Thanks God when she left us alone for a second my associate finished the second eye brow. Please chill Kim . Dont treat people like they want to steal or overuse those products or services. Very unprofessional and rude. But Josie you are the best !

To be very honest I would like to tell truth. It’s not all the staff but few. I like the way the do welcome whenever I visit this store.But the thing is when I want to buy something especially when it comes to foundation I am very particular about colour match.Today I was at this store to buy Concealer, I wanted to get the perfect shade. Whoever’s first helped me I really appreciate that she helped me even she was done for the day. Another person to whom she requested to try on my face so i don’t have to come back to return . She just wasn’t willing to do the job. Even I asked to remove foundation and try concealer she said I will just do one sided which she didn’t even do properly, she had no product knowledge even. Have no idea what is my concern even didn’t address my needs. I felt like that they don’t want to do their job.Every time I come here for colour they just apply foundation on the top of the foundation I mean how I will know if it’s matching my skin or not . I don’t like that simple, I don’t have time to go home try again come. Back forth and get another try again and again.I shopped a lot in Toronto from Sephora I love Sephora ♥️ They were really welcoming give proper service but here not really l. In Toronto whenever I bought foundation anything they do give proper wipe to old makeup and give a try to couple of colours and show u fullBut i must say last time I got a service for full face make over that’s only best thing ever happened, I loved her service and makeup done by her . I am very thankful to her. She is the best and I feel she does understand me. Thanks dear.I just wish all staff works like her and give proper service even it’s not full face make over. Every time i spend more than $50 so I think I deserve better service. Instead of being lazy and try to get rid from u , i do understand everyone gets tired Still. Extremely disapointed with this particular Sephora. My friend got me a present for a Naked Palette that I already had, and was then informed that the gift receipt he gave me could only be redeemed for STORE CREDIT. Then, the Naked Cherry palette that I wanted was out of stock for a solid 2.5 months. No matter how many times I spoke with them, they said the matter was totally out of their hands. What BS. Any other store would be able to help out your customer, but the manager refused to come out and speak to me himself/herself. I eventually had to buy the Cherry palette from another freaking Sephora just to get my hands on it. Garbage service, garbage inventory management.

A very bad place to shop from, staff deal woth people as if they want to steal things, I never were comfortable shopping from there, and they only give you three very very small samples, one time I asked for a sample from a day cream and they literally gave me a very small dot, I felt that I am asking for a diamond. Staff spend time talking to each other, and if you spend more time they start to watch you and talk to each other about you. I hate going there and wish if there is another place to shop make up from.

I just wanna say I am very disappointed this time I am regular customer at sephora Saskatoon , the sale girl name ramsha , made my experience at sepora awfull . She had no knowledge about the product and the way she looked at me was so rude I never experience this in my whole life. And my friends describe same behaviour with them as well.

I don’t know why I keep coming to this store. I’d be better off ordering online. Customer service sucks, you have to chase down someone to help you and you can clearly see that they feel annoyed. There’s one or two women who are very helpful and genuine. Another thing, there’s very little options for black women with dark skin. And whenever a new product is released for darker shades they never carry those shades. So I’m always told to order is online. What’s the deal with that? Do you not cater to black women or what? I went in to get the fenty body lava, the darker shade, they said they never even got it in store. Then the new Jackie Aina Too faced shades for darker women was released and I actually called in and some guy said they had them in store, in the back and I should come in on the 28th. Drove all the way down there on the 28th only to be told that they didn’t get any of the new stuff. Like wth! Wasted my evening in traffic to get there only to be told to order Online. I just wanted to try my shade first! Very disappointed. I know there isn’t a large population of black women in Saskatoon but surely that doesn’t mean they should just not carry stuff. Smh. Do better!

Prices are fair. They have varieties of cusmatic stuffs. We were looking for a special brand and almost disappointed to find it in Saskatoon. They had our brand.

Staff have always been friendly each time I go (which is often...). The Saskatoon store doesnt carry as much as bigger city Sephoras, but its still a decent array of options.

Expensive, but the staff is helpful and lets you take samples of cologne.
