Spacious and comfortable, this library is where Id love to spend at least an hour of my time in, on a daily basis. Its a great place to learn a good variety of information. Whats even more great about this place is, all of the Librarians are friendly and always willing to answer any questions to the best of their knowledge.
I started going to the Bookmobile on my street as a child. I love going to the library and have been to many across Lambton County. The Concerts and the film series were wonderful. A huge assortment of magazines and periodicals, and books. If they don’t have it there, they will find it for you. Friendly and helpful staff. I enjoyed visiting the library, then to the Cromwell Grill for a delicious lunch, with a new book. I hope we will be able to visit in person again by Fall2021🥺😷🇨🇦
Unfortunately it was closed, but the wifi service was still accessable so I was satisfied.
Love this library. so helpful in time of virus.thanks to all jane metcalf
I grew up in Sarnia during the 80s, before moving to Calgary in the early 90s. When I moved back to Sarnia from Alberta in 2010, I rented a small apartment downtown on College Avenue. I didnt sign up for cable TV right away, so I had to find other ways to amuse myself until I could secure a job. I took many walks along the waterfront, and through the shops along the way. I also discovered the Sarnia Library! I LOVE to read and was thrilled at how close my new home was to the public library. I signed up for a library card and spent many afternoons pursuing the shelves for a literary gem (I found many!) My initial loneliness was lessened by the kind staff at the library. Ive since returned to Alberta, but my heart holds a special place for the Sarnia Library.
So glad of the curbside pick up
There is nothing like reading an actual book and opening it up one page at a time. Books are amazing! Sarnia library will find it if they don’t have it, their staff is extremely helpful and friendly. It’s not just books, there are computers, art display, printing, free Gale e-courses, and they throw events for both adults and children. There are so many things offered at the Sarnia library, check it out!
Great small-town library - I lived there as a kid. Free wifi which is awesome but the popular books are hard to find copies of - for a city that is supposed to have 73K+ people, this llibrary, well, is horrid now that I am back so I end up getting books on my Kindle rather than wait!!Parking sucks, too.
I love the library and free wifi:-)
The staff here are nice and friendly and helpful, however the overall experience is not to good when using the computers or just trying to read a book or study. The whole towns population of meth addicts and drugies all gather at this location where youre ears will be subject to loud swearing, arguing people and people overall just acting like they are five years old and disrupting everyone around them. Although i only experienced this once i walked into the washroom where it was smoky and i think someone was smokeing crack.
The staff at this community library are very helpful and generous with a smile.
I live in Sarnia for a while.Used to use the library so many times to study, read books and etc.Its a great place! Two floors with lots and lots of books and magazines. Web acess, wi-fi, free tables.Much more than I expected for a town with less than 80,000 habitants!
Definitely haunted
Great Staff, awesome set up.
Library ruined by Junkies and Nut Jobs.
Very helpful.
