Its religious place you can go...its near river so you can enjoy time around the nature.

We a normal human cannot rate this place but the administration is doing nothing for this place, the restoration work is processing very slow, there is no basic amenities,no maintenance, no body is keeping check on covid norms. Else the beauty of the place is mesmerizing.

A beautiful shiv temple at Bank of river mahi galteshwar temple.The river water is very clean and best for a bath in a holy river. Beware to go deep in the river as there have been incidents of people flown away with water force as the water flow a bit high here.

Though temple is a historical, but it actually requires attention. Renovations is under process. Mahi river is the best part, but yes you may not find water too clean, but its worth taking a dip. Do carry extra pair of clothing, and relax they have changing room just for Rs.5.

This is an ancient mahadev temple established in 12th century A.D. majorly consisting malwa style of architecture and over the period of time it has also got influenced by some Gujarati style of intervention. Which is protected under national monuments of importance. Further it has a resemblance with the older structure of the mahadev temple at somnath which was destroyed by intruders. Really a place full of peace and auspicious environment.I advice to visit this place other than public holidays or Sundays to imbibe the real feel of the vibrations of the place and history.Besides that there is really entertaining rever bed besides the temple where we can enjoy a natural bath. Make sure to carry pair of dry clothes.But there are not adequate changing rooms so it might be uncomfortable to change at the place.

This is the place for your weekend. You can have a bath in the Mahi River, and after that visit the temple. Temple is small, less crowded in weekdays and an masterpiece of excellence.Another point to mention, river bed is full of rocks, instead of silt or mud. I assure you, you will get crystal clear water for bathing. And depth is not much (from 2 to 4 ft).

Lord Shiva temple🙏🏼.This place is 17 km. far from Dakor, Gujarat. Temple is situated near bank of river Mahi. Archi tech of temple is too good. There is a garden besides temple and some crowd of trees so we can take rest under it. Overall good place. Also facility of parking. There are also some dhaba which are provide meals and cold-rinks.

The Shivalinga is located at the centre of the temple around 7-8 steps below the ground level making it a cool and peaceful place for worship. Temple premises are also spacious and has a beautiful lawn to soak in the divinity.

Awesome place for heat escape! Underdeveloped, roads are not good at Temple. Though the road till Temple are good. Great experience swimming in the mahisagar river flowing nearby. If you have a nice SUV vehicle than you can probably take it nearby river itself. or else keep it parked away from river in the parking area. Heritage Temple of old times with beautiful carvings. The Galteshwar is a Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva, located at Sarnal village near Dakor in Kheda district, Gujarat, India. The 12th century temple is unique in its style and of its period because it is built in central Indian Malwa style, bhumija, without influence of Paramara architecture and with influence of Gujarati Chaulukya architecture. It has square garbhagriha (shrine proper) as well as octagonal mandapa (dancing hall).

An ancient Shiva temple built with rocks as structural members with intricate rock carvings on the outside. once you visit you are just like not in this world.. just fill the peacefulness at inside temple... the river bank which is near the temple creates the location like heaven on the earth. the Linga was below the ground level which is around 12 steps from the ground level.. the temple is of 12th century AD old... very good environment.. thow some reconstruction work is in process due to very old structure... but worth to visit this place.. dont forgot to take bath in Mahi river which is very near from this temple, which has some special power, i dont know how to explain but it has some power....
