We passed by this restaurant everyday during our stay in Sarajevo in August 2019. We were always attracted by its dessert display. Finally we decided to give it a try.We found a table inside in the back of the place. Deco is very modern. It was after lunch hour but service was slow. We had to go to the front to get our orders because servers barely attended us. Food wasnt bad but not the best we had during our visit there.Obvious the restaurant is at a very good location, although the portion is big, overall the food and service are not matching its location. Dont like to recommend it.

THE WORST SERVICE ON PLANET. STAFF IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Asked me where I was from and started assaulting me thinking that I am from Serbia. SHAME ON YOU!!!! I AM BORN IN SARAJEVO AND I HAVE ALL RIGHT TO BE HERE. What a peasant. Awful experience, I will NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. Yuck! And btw I AM CROATIAN.

I was in complete state of awe after entering this restaurant. The interiors is world class and the food is great. We ordered Chinese, Mexican, Italian, healthy juices and coffee and all delicacies were up to the mark. The presentation was professional, staff was friendly and ambience was calm and romantic. Kudos to our attendant Mr. Ahmed for making us feel at home.

The food is just great!But i ordered from delivery the same dish few days after, the sauce wasnt ok....not as much as i had in the restaurant, too bad.

Very nice restaurant with good food and amazing cakes. Guys also have a very big non-smoking hall inside the restaurant. Thank you! It’s really a gem to find it in Bosnia! Cakes are amazing, food is amazing! My favorite is chocolate soufflé :) However, every cake i tried was very good. The place is usually crowded, but really nice and cozy

Nice and cozy cafe. The cafe located in the center of Sarajevo and 5 min walk from BBI Mall. Nice crowd and great selection of cakes. I recommend it for groups, families and friends.

We entered this place completely by accident and got completely blown away. Separated smoking from non-smoking area, both practically and visually.Great selection of cakes, we tried several different types and they were all simply amazing, personally I never had better, not counting homemade. Coffee was also nice, juices too.Waiter was super polite, funny and honestly quite fast with our huge order. Kudos to you man if you ever read this.Worth noting that toilets are also nice and clean if that thing matters to you.Will definitely visit again if I ever visit Sarajevo again!

I have ordered food delivery from restaurant Vatra and food was really bad, especially pasta. I mean who can mess up pasta! It was supposed to come with vegetables and mozzarella. In fact, there was no pinch of mozzarella, and very little vegetables, almost none. Vegetables were burned, sauce was burned as well and filled with oregano or basil am not sure (if it was oregano, it doesnt go to pasta), so you could hardly taste anything else. Pasta was overcooked. Cannot believe they just sent it like this! Embarrassing!!! Vatra is cozy place to sit and watch passers by but strongly recommend you dont eat anything there. I have posted picture of pasta mozzarella vegetables, so dont order this! It is a pity to put food into trash but I had to. I also tried lasagna, nothing special. You can have same quality lasagna in any street fast food for lesser price.The only good thing was delivery that came on time with pleasant and kind delivery person. I sincerely hope they will do something with cooking. People were complaining before but nothing changed.

Superb superb and superb. Extraordinary food. Its not really traditional bosnian, but if you want to eat something really tasty, go there.

Little bit expensive

The interior is quite nice and the prices arent really high but as for the service...There is always that one waiter that keeps us waiting and one time I almost forgot that I even ordered a burger.Desserts are delicious and in general the place is nice, I would come again.

Theres no question: its overpriced. By a bunch. Im not sure why, to be honest. The location is nice, but its also nothing special. What distinguishes this place is the good service, clean bathrooms, and a back room sitting area that is tastefully decorated, spacious, and comfortable. Ill probably wait for my next promotion to return.

Nice place for coffee and their ice cream is one of a kind. However, after visiting three times, I must say that the service could have been better. Took us forever to see a waiter to take our order, although several waiters passed by but it wasnt their table so we had to wait about 10 min to just order. Other than that, this place is great in every way.

Very kind and nice staff. Food tasted very good both times we went there. Excellent quality accompanied by a great price. Only downside is that it can take quite long for your food to arrive. Still a big winner for us

One of the best coffee spots in Sarajevo. Definitely top location on the main pedestrian street Ferhadija right next to the city monument Eternal Fire. Recommendation for excellent coffee and phenomenal cakes!

Nice place in the heart of the City with indoor and outdoor sitting. Quick and professional sevice. Devided smoking and non-smoking zones inside. Great selection of excellent cakes, cups and fruit salads. No alcohol drinks, but good selection of fresh juices. Also, very good for quick bite to eat.

I’m a local and I really love this place, but there is only one thing bothering me, I’m not really young but they treat me as a kid. Last time I’ve been there with 3 friends, ordered food and drinks as usual and our bill wasn’t small, but the waiter was very rude and he payed all his attention on one man who is nearly 40 years old. It doesn’t mean that if I’m young you can treat me as a kid!!

Endless choice of fresh cakes. Some savoury food as well. Friendly staff, quick service and overall a nice atmosphere.

Nice decor is about the only nice thing you could say about this place. Thats unless you enjoy waiting 20 + minutes just to get served and have your table cleared from the previous guests. Sheer arrogance that really doesnt need to be tolerated in a place full of great coffee shops with actual service.

The location of the place is superb and the prices are good too. When it served illy coffee it was 5 stars but since they turned to Julius Meinl I dont go as often. They have a huge selection of cakes and i hear they are good but i am not big on cakes.

There is a few Vatra locals in town of Sarajevo.This one is the most famous.Good deserts, good pancakes, I really like the part inside that is soooo ZEN - non - smoking area, simply amazing.A bit expenssive, but it is worth it.You should try cake called Vragolina - mmmmmm!
