My heart still goes out to the victims of the shooting back in 2012. 27 I believe died in this shooting. What stupid intruder steps inside a school Killing innocent kids. Wish this could of prevented :(. Never forget 2012. And OF COURSE THE SCHOOL IS SAFE!. Sandy hook demolished the 2012 school renewing the school more pretty and security. The new one opened August 2017.

This may seem hard for others to believe, but Sandy Hook Elementary is one of the best schools in the country. Im an employee of the school and I have the greatest staff members and students. Were a very tight nitch community. Yes the 12/14 attacks against our schools was horrible but we are slowing moving forward and we have the most amazing support from our Newtown community and from others around the country.

After everything. .this school has been better then ever and looking forward to new school this year!!
