Good Thai restaurant by the road. The style looks like a dinner. Prices are reasonable. It’s a good option if you’re looking for a decent meal when you’re on the road.

Amazing thai food! My husband and I always get the chicken pad thai. It is delicious, some of the best weve had in the area. The thai tea is to die for.

Great little spot! My lady love and I went in for a late lunch and we were greeted with big smiles and cheap lunch specials. We were both satisfied with our meal choices, as well as with our delicious Thai iced teas. I like a bit of spice when it comes to Thai cuisine, and their hottest option didn’t disappoint. I was sweating by the end of the lunch date.The restaurant itself was quiet and welcoming. A little magic spot hidden in the Salem area!

The restaurant was clean and comfortable. Service was good. We got the pot stickers as our appetizer which was very good. My husband ordered the pork spare ribs and it comes in the traditional red sauce. He liked it very much although was still a bit hungry after. I ordered the chicken teriyaki and was a bit disappointed. The sauce was great but the chicken although it tasted good, it looked like it came out of one of those bags like the Tyson grilled chicken or Foster Farms grilled chicken it just looked too perfect like a machine had cut it. It didnt look like it was freshly grilled and sliced up. I guess not every restaurant can do that. I cant complain about the price the prices were good it was $40 for two with the tip included. Would I go back? Probably not. But it was okay.

We ate eating in Thai beer for 10years +. Today food order they made big mistake. Food was not as good as I Always get it. I always rated them 5 put 5. Today I rated 3 out of 5. Kids were unhappy. They gave me wrong order and when I call cashier didnt even said sorry.

By far one of the nastiest places I have ever been to!! Yuck yuck yuck when I ordered my food the cashier at the front was so disrespectful it was like she wanted us to leave quickly after we got our order !she even yelled at me and my family after she handed us our Thai tea which btw is not made fresh. The food had hair in it which is so unsanitary. And the lady that handed us our order kept sneezing all over the place !and didn’t even wear a mask. What a great way to stop the spread of COVID-19 ! The audacity of giving your customers germs like that baffles me. And the worst thing about all this is I was actually excited to see about this Thai restaurant but in my opinion it’s a one star restaurant with sloppy food unhygienic workers and germs all around not to mention the hair in our food yucky never going again:(

For Salem, Thai Beer is a consistent favorite for good Thai food. On a recent visit our egg rolls were very overcooked but the main courses were fabulous. The staff weren’t as friendly as they used to be. The pandemic has undoubtedly been difficult for them.

Friendly staff. Tasty food. Fairly quick service. The interior looked nice. Prices seemed average.

Will not go in there again the lady that was taking my order was discriminatory and the bathrooms are filthy saw a cockroach in the men’s bathroom and the tables felt sticky also the waiter was sneezing so I left. If I do get sick with Covid I will know why

Ordered food from this restaurant via UberEats today. The thai iced tea and peanut sauce were good. However the noodles I ordered with tofu seemed overcooked. There are a few pictures I added. When I opened the to-go container it smelled like smoke. Similar to the smell of burnt toast if you had forgotten about it or left it in the toaster too long and it turned black. UberEats said they are not able to give me a price adjustment for my order. I could not force myself to eat this.

I was down to visit my Mother for my Birthday on the 9th. And I decided on Thai Beer instead of Olive Garden.....AND IT WAS DELICIOUS! I am coming from northern Wa and this place is mid Oregon. My family and I thought it was delicious! I have had Thai in many different areas around the PNW. I also love sharing my palate and taste for Thai with others. So, out of us 4, and 4 different dishes they had never tried, IT WAS AWESOME! Then, on top of the naturally delicious flavor the food was cooked in. They gave me 3 free egg rolls since it was my Birthday, which I willingly showed my ID to prove. Great food, nice staff and I would recommend for anybody who lives in the area and has never tried Thai. It is delicioustastic!

The food was delicious, the service was friendly and quick. We definitely have to go back next time we are in town. They have limited seating, but the had non stop take out orders being picked up while we are, tells you how good the food is.

Good staff, fast service.Ordered red curry with chicken Thai hot.Curry was watery with no flavor. The chicken was obviously cooked with no spices and added separately. Oh and their idea of making spicy curry is dumping a pile of dried chillis at the bottom of the container. Meh. Would not order this dish again.

The flavor of their dishes is beyond any other in at least a 50 mile radius. I’ve had several of their entrees and my taste buds tingle with delight every time.

Ordered food to go and it was gross! Chicken satay was dry and both the chicken and peanut sauce had no flavor.

Fantastic for quick takeout. They always put it in containers that dont spill which is hugely appreciated. And, of course, the food is great! My personal favorite is green curry with no eggplant.

I had a tuff time with the older hostess/waitress to night. My table Was clearly treated differently than the people that can in behind us and got the food served to them first. Race played a factor on the poor quality service. Good thing my friend who had been a long term customer acknowledged her service was extremely crappie towards me. I won’t be spend another dollar at Thai Beer. The waitress questioned everything I wanted. Passed by my half empty water glass with the fill pitcher in her hand. No refill for me. I ask for lemons she brought me a lime. My friend made the correction after noticing how long she took to bring the one wedge. After the correction was made she started cleaning tables. My friend then made another correction and finally the lemon wedge came out. I was afraid she had spit in my food.

The food was not up to par. My pork was freezer burnt and and my salad tasted like hose water. I think they bought it from Winco. Alot of dirty tables with no one bussing them. Dont go.

One of the staff was friendly and helpful. Another one was cold and clearly didnt want to be there. Evil Jungle Prince was good. The Pad Thai was made with something like sweet and sour sauce, didnt work for me.

Great little Thai place. The staff are great and were very kind. We stopped on our way back up to Portland and were thankful they were open on a Sunday. Their service is really fast.

My kiddo and I ordered chicken pad thai the other night and had it delivered. It was HORRIBLE. It was completely cold and gummy and everything was all tossed together. It literally looked and tasted like it was from earlier in the day. Super disappointed.

I was hesitant because of some of the reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. The food was great and decently proportioned for the price. The staff was also friendly and attentive. The only thing I would not recommend are the spring rolls. Luckily the peanut sauce made up for it. Quick service too. My family and I would return.

Went here for an Uber Eats order. First they lectured me on not bringing my own bag. I have been delivering for over a year and the restaurants ALWAYS package their own food. Asked me multiple times who the order was for, then acted like I needed to show them some kind of ID as if the name and order number wasnt enough. Very, very rude.

I only order 1 thing because I CAN NOT eat spicy food. The mossman curry ordered with no spices. This is the 2nd time I hahone says, the cook getsve ordered through delivery and theygiveme the HOT spicy version. Im hungry, cant just drive up there to get it corrected because my kids are napping. I asked why. Again does this mistake happen; the lady on the phone says the cook gets BUSY. Wow, why are you a open restaurant if the cook cant cook the food the way people ordered it. Why have people place orders at all? The cook should just decide what people are gonna have. PAY ATTENTION COOK. Delivery is because people arent able to leave the house. Im so mad. $25.00 food no one can eat!!

Walked in and was greeted by one waitress. She walked back and forth past me three times before another lady from the back screamed how many. Strike one. Place was nearly empty but I get seated right next to a guy loudly talking his head off, cussing, talking about eating...lady parts. Strike two. Then I ordered a beer and food without incident. Had to ask again for the beer because they didnt bring it with the water. Careful....Ball... I ordered yellow curry, asked for medium spicy. Food was bland, I actually had to put salt on it just to eat it. Did not take the 2/3 I didnt eat home. Strike three Waste of $17.

Oh em gee. What I ordered was pink. I was blown away at how something so pink and noodley would make me want to marry it. It was the bomb. Highly recommend the food, even if it looks pink. Maybe even especially if its pink, because that stuff was good!

This was my go to place for Tom Kha soup. Its gone downhill for the last couple of years. Medium spicy is NOT at all spicy. Its mild. The mushrooms are rarely fresh, usually have a rubbery texture and funky smell and taste. Even the onions often taste old.The salad rolls are mostly sour tasting iceberg lettuce. They do have really good peanut sauce. I ordered a stir fry and it was mostly celery. New owners or just cutting corners?

The food is served cold and my friend didnt even get what he ordered. Prices are too high for low income people. Table was sticky and seemed to not have beem wiped down. I am a server myself, so I know how clean up is supposed to be done. I do not suggest this place to eat at. I used to love the food here, but not anymore.

Several of us ordered pad thai to go. Three were with chicken, and one with tofu. When you opened the box, there was rice noodles on the bottom that were completely solid and stuck together. There were large chunks of celery, which is not something normally served in pad thai. There was a sauce container that we had to pour onto the plate, and try to mix it all together. The noodles were too stiff to mix with anything. The steamed vegetables on top were decent, but this was not pad thai. We wont be returning.

Im just shocked how are they the best in mid-valley? Their staff are so rude ! The food is ok, nothing special about Thai food. If you like Pad Thai dish please dont order #59 the noodles are nasty. I am going to stick with Thai Orchard restaurant. Their staff and food pretty good.

Pad cashew nuts is excellent. I like it with tofu but you can choose any meat. Veggies are crisp with an great sauce.

We had the beef salad which was delicious! They had it ready in 10 min. I recommend and will go back.

What was once a great place to eat good Thai food, with Thai people cooking their dishes, has become a run down, dingy hole with people who do not eat Thai food, and therefore do not know the secrets of making it taste spectacular, cooking it. The quality has dropped so much over the last few years and it is no surprise to see very few, if any, people inside at any given mealtime. Nice people work there, sure. But nice people do not make a good restaurant, great food & cleanliness does. This place has neither any more. I am done giving them my business, after 10 years of being a good customer. They try to make up for bad taste with HUGE portions. Big piles of rice noodles do not make for a great plate of Phad Thai. When you cant serve a great tasting plate of your national dish, you might want to think about improving your business. I have thrown away my last plate of take out mush, with the worst Peanut Sauce I ever had. Goodbye Thai Beer, I wish you luck, you are going to need it to stay in business if you do not improve this restaurant. This makes me sad to write, I am also a small business owner and want us all to succeed. Hope you read this and make some positive changes! :)

Excellent and friendly service. My one and only complaint is that the Thai bbq chicken is typically dry. Im sure this is due to having to cook it in advance. But overall the food is great!

I first saw this restaurant on a gluten free app and was so excited when our friends recommended it too. We just moved here from Washington so having a GF Thai place was a must. I was disappointed when we called to place our to go order and the woman rudely and repeatedly said they were closing early since it was slow but she reassured me the food would be gluten free so we went ahead and ordered. It was SO delicious!! But then....I got painfully sick that night. I want so badly to try again, hoping it was just because they were in a hurry and had some cross-contamination by accident. But I just cant...

Yellow curry was spot on big portions but the pad Thai was not great order came with the curry on top so the pad Thai container was crushed and open, noodles were over cooked and dry, maybe 4 pieces of chicken in it as well. I would get the curry again but l stay away from the pad Thai

I judge restaurants on the merits of their food, and quite frankly Thai Beer does not have any. You would be much better off going to Hong Thai Express across the street. Id sooner poach an egg over top ramen, than return here and punish my palate any further.

WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER. They got our order wrong and when I called to tell them they told me to come back and they would replace it for me with the correct order. When I showed up with the food, the waitress wanted to argue about how they made my order right, on top of that they never gave me a receipt, they wanted to charge me again for the correct order so I asked for my money back they gave me $4 out of the $18 that I paid..
