In addition to good infrastructure and a reputed name behind, you need to have a zeal to serve customers particularly when you are dealing with the health of human beings.Unfortunately, Dr Lal Pathlab is lacking on this ground. Be ready to find these people completely in-sensitive towards persons. They place their arrogance above than the life of a person.

I have availed the services of Thyrocare 3 times. Arogyam C Package. Once there was issue with respect to scheduling of collection time. But apart from that experience was good.

Package booking experience with Thyrocare was smooth. The lab technician arrived on time for taking the blood sample, and since my booking time was on the morning of Sunday, so he also called me advance to confirm if I am awake or not. One day before, Thyrocare also gave a reminder call for doing fasting for 12 hours before giving the blood sample as it was required as per tests procedures.

I have recently used Salem ThyroCare main branch located at opposite to Gokulam hospital for blood test to my mother. It costs around Rs. 2130 for 82 tests. They have collected the sample in my home and delivered the report via courier and email within 1 day of time.The report looks good and I feel for the overall test this will be a good option. You need not visit hospital and wait for a long time to collect the report. Once you have taken the report from Thyrocare, you can consult any of the doctors for more details about the report.The report details are good enough to get basic details.

Good labs usually run QC (Quality Controls)/calibrators/EQAS (External Quality Assurance Scheme), which are usually expensive + They have closed automated systems, so human error is less. And it is commercially viable,when you have good workload. I have not visited the thyrocare lab in person, but their website tells a lot regarding this aspect. The cheaper cost is mostly due to economies of scale. Be it Thyrocare or SRL Diagnostics. So there is high chance that the Lab at the end of your street is highly unreliable because, most such labs which are run by technicians, usually don’t have the required expertise or expensive closed automated systems and costly QC/Calibrators. - I believe Thyrocare Lab. I RECOMMEND THYROCARE.

I got excellent service from this care.

Thyrocare tests are reliable.But their home collection is below average.They never turn up on time. Sometimes they cancel the appointment saying now the fasting period is over 12 hrs. They deliberately delay and when fasting period is more than 12 hrs. ,they cancel it.I have been on receiving end on many occasions.So better do not make online payment.
