Crowdy place with all access to entire salem city & busstand is surrounded by vegetable market,all things avaliable around busstand.All means all.ie electricals, mechanical bike spare parts,mobile accessories streets,fruit markets,mandis,home accessories are avaliable in walkable distance. Good socio-economic area with poorly maintained ,garbage filled place

Its the place where all local transport buses will have to come. You can get a local bus for all surroundings villages in Salem district.

Quick accessible bus stand at Vellore beside NH34. But cleanliness of this bus stop is not satisfactory. Small routed bus available from here. Crowded area with less seating facilities. Hardly 1km from CMC OPD Gate 1. Near this bus stand you can seen Sabji Mandi (Vegetables market) and this bus stop 0.5 km away from Vellore Fort & Jalakantesvara Temple. You can access bus and Auto from here to go here and there.

This bus stand is used to cater to the transportation within Salem and its surrounding areas Alon with some suburbs. It is currently renovated under the smart city scheme of central government.

Its a mess in recent times! They are building mall or something...!?? Roads are messy,dusty roads.....but bad or good review everyones gotta use this place😂😂

The demolition of old bus stand for construction of a new bus stand under the Smart Cities Mission is under way.One of the prime projects under the Smart Cities Mission in Salem, the old bus stand here would be reconstructed into a two-tier bus stand at a cost of ₹ 92.82 crore. This is perhaps the first time a two-tier bus stand is being built in State. The bus stand has been designed in such a way that it would decongest up to 80% traffic in the region.

Salem Old Bus Stand is very big. But the Volume of traffic was so much, a New Bus Stand has come up. This create problem for travelling public as it is not clear, which routes are shifted to New Bus Stand. We have to enquire with Town Bus Staff, who readily help. I ascertained Buses to Bangalore operate from New Bus Stand.Maintenance of the Bus Stand is far from satisfactory. Platform Area is full of Waste and filth discarded by Shops and Rest Rooms are very badly neglected.But One plus point is availability of frequent buses between Old Bus Stand, New Bus Stand and Junction.

Salem town old Bus stand has been started to function for so many decades with lot of business firms.But now old Bus stand operates with flower Market one side and temporary Bus stand on other side.Still its under construction.

Planning project of modelling old Bus stand is going on.now it is conjested.somewhat improving.

Currently getting renovated with world class amenities and standard. It was my favourite place during childhood days. Juices clothing bakery ice cream are additional and enjoying of this place. We are losing its old clock monument..

The entire old bus stand is fully demolisef and a new bus stand is under construction for a multi level bus stand.Now it is absured to give a rating.

One of the important spot in the city. Currenty the place is under reconstruction (2020) under city development program. Thus the buses are currently boarded at nearby ground.

Now its become a Flower Market

The litter bus stand. Dont get me wrong but the people here, even the shopkeepers have no knowledge on cleanliness. A famous Amman temple is nearby. Once upon a time, the water flowing in the stream nearby was used for abishegam. But now you cant even stand a few seconds near that bridge. The municipality has to rake severe action and penalize those who litter the place

Center of the place go to all Market. There is going on a construction work to modernization.
