Food is decent, not fantastic. Prices are higher now. Slow to get refills on drinks. If you go during slow times food tends to get cold and not refilled quickly. I will say the pineapple smoothie is incredible. Do enjoy the egg rolls. Floor tends to get dirty with spilled food, decor is quite dated.

I love this place! Sushi sushi sushi!!! I love it. It’s clean and the employees are fabulous!! They could Use an upgrade in the restroom department but hey! I don’t eat in the bathroom.Highly recommend!!

Ordered about $75 to $80 for my family household of 9 to 10 ppl. Not too bad for the money but wish had delivery options, but only for minimum amount spent and if outside of delivery area, have an option to pay extra for extra mileage and etc.

Have a lot of great options and bring out fresh food often. They will even make a specific sushi roll if you ask them. The Japanese place next door is great too.

You can place a pick up order and its fresh and I enjoyed it better then when we use to eat buffet. The buttered shrimp is so delicious. I dont do chicken for my own personal reasons so I eat shrimp with all the vegetables and fried rice. Cant go wrong

I eat here about twice a month and have always been pleased with the food and the service. They have a huge menu that includes Chinese, Japanese, Thai, you name it. I have actually never eaten at their buffet, but it looks good too. I order take out on the way home from work and its always hot and ready to go when I get there.

Absolutely love chinese but cant afford to spend a fortune to eat by myself or with my family wish they would do what the one in newalbany did and open up the buffet and just have employees dishing it out. That way people could afford to eat what they want instead of pick and choose.. not sure how these places are staying on business.. not sure how people can afford it at those prices... OPEN THE BUFFET BACK AND JUST HAVE EMPLOYEES DISHING IT OUT LIKE MOST BUFFET PLACES...

Absolutely amazing place to eat. The owners/staff are very respectful and quick to help you out. Their drive thru is also very fast and easy! I think the food tastes amazing and I don’t even live in Salem but come by every other month or so out of my way just for this food

Very long line when we got there on a Friday night. Not too long later, we got our food. It was hot, fresh and delicious. We had a couple special requests and they handled it perfectly. Fantastic food, and a bargain as well.

Great buffet at a very low price! Honestly, I think they should charge more, especially for the lunch. Tax included my lunch was $7.86, which is cheap considering I had two heaping plates of fresh food. Its that much for a cheap fast food meal, and you dont get the same kind of great service. I would have no problem paying $9 or $10 for the lunch buffet. Thanks to the owners for having a great restaurant!

I love the food that is available on their Buffet. They have so many Different Dishes kept nice and warm on the Buffet Tables. I love Chicken Dishes they had about every one available. The only one I missed was Cashew Chicken. This Restaurant is always packed full. The Food. Is Plentiful and The Staff always Smile. They dont look like they really cant wait to leave. My Daughter in Law took Her Mother and Me JUST for a Girls Day. We sat and talked and eat and it was a very enjoyable meal and time spent together. I recommend taking your Family There. Eat here, leave full and happy. This is my third or fourth time here. Good variety, everything I have had here is fresh and hot. Very good sushi and nice dessert selection too. A couple Japanese dishes too to make it interesting. Five stars!

Pleasant surprised. Have driven by many times without stopping. Interior dated but clean. Enjoyed the Sunday buffet with having. Nice selection including sushi made on site, kimchi, cold peel shrimp, salad, soups, a variety of warm entrees, a small dessert section and ice cream. Very friendly and strength staff. Topping it off, 5 buffets for under $50. Will definitely be stopping by again when back in Salem. Recommended 👍

Have always loved this place! The food is amazing and now they have merged with the Japanese cuisine that was on the other side of the building. My only issue is they hiked the prices. Other than that, great place to eat!

The staff could be a little more friendly. Make sure if you have kids to watch the prices of them at checkout because I always get over charged. The food is awesome!

If you are looking for a quiet little buffet with a small, but well prepared selection of your typical selections. They have a comparatively large selection of sushi rolls with nice presentation and balance of flavors that leaves other similarly sized buffets to shame. If you are in the area and want a cozy place to enjoy so tasty food would definitely recommend. The only thing that keeps this from getting a higher rating is the decor. It seems rather tacky and the overall ambiance just seems a little too dark, with the exception of one of their overhead lights which is rainbow colored for whatever reason.

Ate in a while back and have taken out the food is delicious the prices are reasonable will be frequenting again

Fast food and good service

Decent buffet, sushi is a little on the low end here. Food is only good at peak hours, other times of the day it gets old and cold pretty quick. The ice cream is one of those scoop it yourself- from the bucket- with the ice cream scoop sitting in a pale of water- with a sticky handle that hundreds of kids have touched kinda thing. The service is below average. They arent very attentive for refills or conversation of any sort. Ordered a bubble tea once, kept asking about it when the waitress would walk by, and it took 20 minutes for another woman to come out and tell me they were out of the flavor I ordered. We were almost done with dinner by then. Place is a little dirty, floor is usually covered in crumbs and whole chunks of food. It seems to be a popular place for some reason. Always busy.

Best place to eat in Salem. What variety and in the late afternoon they bring out the oysters on the half shell and shrmp. If you go home hungry its your own fault. I have been known to make up holidays just to go out there and celebrate.

Most of the time the orange chicken is really good but every now and then usually on the weekends when you order it it taste like ketchup and its not very sweet but other than that the orange chicken is great during the week

Friendly staff and big variety. If you like oriental style foods, this is the place! Also a great place for groups and get-togethers.

Sushi is always awesome. They have some of the best fried rice as well. Store is always clean, staff is very friendly, and you CANNOT beat these prices!

Was at the restaurant today and went to the back to use the restroom and the Chinese waitress was cleaning the toilet seat with the toilet brush. It was absolutely disgusting and she was splashing water from the toilet everywhere. The water looked nasty as could be. I will never use that bathroom here. Slinging poop water everywhere and got it on the tp. 🤢🤢🤢🤢

The food is always excellent! The staff is okay, they are friendly enough. Just dont expect refills on drinks too much. My husband asked for a refill when we were halfway through our meal and the waitress brought it back only half filled. I guess she thought since we were halfway done that he only needed half a glass. They have a good variety of dishes.

Ive been a long time patron..buffet is always hot and fresh...something for every one is available. Sushi bar too! ...or order off the menu. Takeout is available by weight and is reasonably priced...Mild or spicy, its up to you...they accept large groups too.

Its one of the best restaurants in town. The prices are good and now Japanese take out is on the express china side. The waitresses on the weekends are busy but very attentive when needed and we also serve a larger variety of sushi now and as far as the customer saying that she seen one of our ways yours is cleaning the toilet with toilet water is pretty silly cuz usually I tend to help out with cleaning the restrooms at night thats not how they get done

Good food but they have a bad habit of cleaning up your dishes and allowing other people sit at your table before your done eating. Really not happy about that plus they still charged me full price and wouldnt give a discount because of their mess up.

Pretty decent little restaurant. Might need to be renovated and remodeled at some point. Price wise you cannot beat the lunch buffet at 6.50 now in 2017. Food tends to be pretty good and never had any issues with sickness or illness from this establishment. Owner is usually pretty friendly and has been in business here and their other location previously for a long time so I have been ordering here for a couple decades. At least you get pretty friendly service and a decent meal for a fair price. More than I can say for a lot of other restaurants around Salem.

For the gentleman who reviewed earlier. Im a regular at the restaurant. $26 for 2 adult and a child seems fair. Remember, it is ALL U CAN EAT, with unlimited drink refills. If it is too expensive for you, stick with McDonalds dollar menu.

We eat here on a weekly basis, sometimes more! We LOVE the food and love the service. It has never a dirty place, but they have recently done some updating. I love to see businesses putting money back into the establishment keeping up with the times!

The food is delicious. Ive never been able to find sesame chicken that tastes the same at any other Chinese place in the southern Indiana and Louisville area. However, the staff are a little standoffish. They come by to make sure you get a drink and a refill but otherwise just ignore you and yell occasionally in Chinese.

Well first we tried to place a delivery order over the phone and she told us, Not enough people. After driving to Express China we placed our order and returned home to discover our order was incorrect. The flavor of the food at best can be described as OK.
