Mom and I love eating at the Saint John location…the staff are friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The food has always been fabulous…by far my favourite breakfast spot!!! Thank you Oliver for being so great!!

Nice food but cold for my taste. It looks like food on skillets are served on a cold skillet making the food very cold. Skillet should be food temperature or hotter to make sense of using it.

Great local business. We all say support the struggling local guy so get out and get a great breakfast. They will let you in as early as 6:00am. If youre hungry they will feed you. Great service and great prices. Give them a try you wont be disappointed.

I love this place. Food is absolutely amazing! Always super fresh, absolutely delicious and looks amazing. Today had Avocado row (with salmon and Benedict egg) and this is for sure my favourite dish as of now.Staff is super helpful and nice. Ideal place for breakfast, for meeting with friends or for little family meal.

The food was better than expected, the service was faster than expected and the staff were amazing!

Ordered online. They never got my order. Was ignored by the staff while I was waiting for pickup. Ended up getting my order an hour later than my original pick-up time. Went back in the car with half of my order missing. They had it ready for me thankfully when I went back in. Came back home to items missing and uncooked eggs.

We went to Pur and Simple for an impromptu brunch. I have the Rays Skillet, my wife at the Opa Avocado Toast , my daughter had the kids breakfast with sausage and Strawberry Banana 🍌 smoothie. We all loved the food and ate it all. Excellent service. Very clean. I will be back many times.

Good food but its too expensive and service is slow. Personally, I think they forgot about our order. The people next to us were served and nearly finished before we were served, even though they arrived after us. 2 out of 3 of our meals were served cold. To their credit, they did remake the meals very quickly and provided us two free fruit bowls while we waited. We dont plan to be back any time soon but could return. I hope to find a local non-chain restaurant with waffles.

Always good and fast service here.One of our go-to meals is Rays Extravaganza. A great mix of eggs, veggies, potatoes and sausage with a nice helping of hollandaise.Hard to beat the many eggs Benedict options here and a great variety of pancakes and fruit.

We have ate here 3 times and such a wonderful place. We love this restaurant. Sj has a great team. Are waitress Christine is amazing. 10/10.

Just left the Paradise location and I must say, I will definitely be returning! We had a bit of a long wait due to COVID restrictions and the size of our party, but it was 100% worth it! Friendly staff, great food, good coffee, no surprise extra charges, and huge portions for the price point. Definitely recommend to anybody visiting the area; I had the country style crepe and its huge!!

Entered, waited to be seated for 5 mins, none of the two waitresses even looked my way. There were maybe 5 tables taken, all of them seemed to already have been served their orders. Simply walked back out, pure and simple.

Great Brunch! My family loves this place, kid friendly. Have always left satisfied, definitely recommend.

Cora is pretty much better at everything service, portions, prices, coffee. This place looks new but is below par at pretty much everything. Everytime I have been to one of their locations its a below par experience. Today 1 chef did not show up and our order was delayed by 40 while other tables were served on time. Least they could do is serve us fresh fruit bowl on time, it does not take much effort to cut fruits. They lost our order ha ha. Double check for your order if u dont see your food in time.

Amazing food and great service. We made reservations, which was a very good idea for Sunday brunch. I got the simple Eggs Benedict and they were perfect, the hash browns that came with them were also delicious. Our server was quick and courteous too!

The food is good, but you can tell theyre understaffed. Today I saw full tables waiting a long time for food. I was given a fork to eat my smoothie bowl with. The server came back with a spoon and it was a bit dirty.The last time I was here for breakfast with friends, the server didnt leave the pitcher of water when we asked. They came back and left it after a lot of time passed with us having empty glasses. Partway through our meal the server takes the empty water glass of my friend. When it was time to pay, my friend didnt leave a tip and the server said you know gratuity isnt included in your bill which I thought was very disrespectful to say to a customer.The place isnt the best it could be, but is still a nice spot. Theres a lack in vegan choices here, however.

Went to Pur & Simple today with my wife fir the first time. We were pleasantly surprised. I had the Chicago Bene, server suggested adding cheese to home fries, it was soo good! My wife had Waffle and Fruit that was topped with freshly cut fruit another suggestion was adding a side of bacon🥓 she said it was the perfect amount of saltiness to add to the sweet waffle. The service was top notch. I think the server said her name Kristina (they didnt have name tags) and she made us feel like we were the only ones there although the place was full :) This place is a new favorite!

When I go for breakfast I always try something different. Its never disappointing. The staff is always friendly.

My wife had the avacado toast and loved it. I had the breakfast wrap. It tasted okay, with egg, bacon, avacado, and greens inside. Tasted like something Id make myself. The potatoes were cooked nicely with a tasty seasoning, but were very very salty. Its really noisy here though! Although they recently claimed they took noise-cancelling measures, it still sounds like a high school cafeteria. Makes it hard to relax there.

Sept 13, 2020My first day in town after my 14 day quarantine period. I had phoned up Mayor Darling to suggest ways to trim the budget and lost track of time. The last thing I remember is Mayor Darling stating Mr. MacKay I will implement that right away! Then I saw the smoke! My breakfast was burned! Mayor Darling was so apologetic that he e-transfered me $50 to get breakfast on him.I hopped in my car and I was off! I stumbled upon Pür & Simple by chance.My first thought was giddiness at the umlaut. I walked in and made a joke with the host that the Germans had won after all and he feigned a smile that made me feel comfortable at the establishment. I informed him I needed a table for one (a far too common occurance for a romantic type such as myself!) and he led me to my seating for the morning.I looked over the menu and I was amazed at the varities and choices. My server was a handsome lass as they would say in my fathers native country and I had to inform her a few times I needed more time as I was reviewing the menu. Dear reader, let me inform you that the choices I had to make were completely overwhelming as the menu is loaded with them.I could see my waitress was getting quite annoyed so after 10 minutes of deliberation I ordered plain white toasted, buttered with peanut butter, two strips of bacon and an orange juice. I told her that I dared to go off menu and she giggled as I winked at her and tipped my fedora ever so slightly.My food was divine. Absolutely divine. Dear reader, if I had to rate the food at Pür & Simple on taste, texture, smell and presentation it would get a 10/10 on all categories.When my waitress finally came back to ask how my food was I was making noises typically reserved for the bedroom. I was in such a delighted mood I decided to try my luck and asked her if she had a boyfriend. She said she did and I quietly thought drat! Just ly luck!. I pride myself on being a gentleman and did not push further into another mans territory. I left a handsome 25% tip as I value the hard work that the server presented before me. I nodded with glee and I was out the door with a hop, skip and a jump!Overall, it was a 10/10 experience, I will likely be back if I burned my breakfast again in the near future, ho ho hum!

Ordered online. It was so simple! But didnt receive the text, they forgot the cutlety and the syurp that I paid 2.95 for. There were no options online for comments for allergies or customization. Ate for two. Overall it was okay. Probably wont dine again.

Great service and staff but the plant based burger tasted like sausage which to me qe really unappealing. The bourbon burger didnt have anything bourbon about it. otherwise good experience

We went to Pure and Simple in Saint John this afternoon and had a great waitress CYNDAL! She made our visit so much fun. She went out of her way to treat us special. We always enjoy eating here but Cyndal gave us the extra feels :) We will definately be back soon!

My mom and I come regularly, the service is always impeccable, the food is always hot and exactly how we ordered it. Oliver is lovely and personable, along with the rest of his staff. We will keep coming back!

I had the one of the best experiences at Pür and Simple, the waiters my friends and I had were so kind, a man named Oliver being one of them. He always made sure we were comfortable and enjoying our food, definitely deserves a raise! All in all, will definitely be dining here again:).

My first and last time visiting,. We arrived at 12pm. ( Party of 10 ) and our food was served at 1:15pm. Well all but one of us were served , We had to wait an additional 10 minutes for the last plate of hash browns and bacon. Food was cold but but edible, certainly nothing to brag about and was as good as any other breakfast joint in Saint John. Thus far I wouldn’t have normally written a review even after the waitress snapped back when asked a question about the whereabouts of a couple missing eggs. What did it for me was when looking over my bill I noticed We were over charged for an extra breakfast and coffee... which the waitress removed but took an additional 20 minutes to get the bill corrected after we were done eating.It wasn’t until we were walking out the door that we were asked how was everything. Unfortunately by this time, we had just had enough and told them how we felt. They did at this point apologize.Yes I understand it was busy, but if you can’t handle the volume then I would suggest improving your service by removing some tables. People can buy breakfast and lunch anywhere, but will only go back somewhere if the service was good.Sorry guys, we won’t be back.

The food was pretty good for the most part other than the toast basically just warm bread when you order toast you dont expect bread run through the toaster as fast as possible because it was forgotten my daughters both ordered smoothies both were wrong mistakes happen but to argue with the costumer about it is wrong but the food was good

The food was not too bad but waiting on condiments was a little ridiculous had to actually get up go ask the waitress for it some ketchup syrups napkins who gives 1 napkin for 2 people Don’t think I would recommend this place.

First 2 times at this restaurant AMAZING! My new favorite place. The last 3 times I went the food was cold. Yesterday I asked them to take the food back , they did and returned with the same food warmed up . Eggs benedict warmed up makes for a soggy mess ! I was also surprised they took the food we already had a few bites of back to the kitchen and returned it back to us. I was expecting the food to be remade and ...should food sitting out that people already may have contaminated be handled back in the kitchen during COVID times ? Spoke with the manager he assures me everything was according to Health and Safety compliance rules. Still a disappointment, cold food the soggy food which I did not eat. Wont be back.

Went in on Sunday with a group of 9 people, despite the restaurant being full they were able to seat us within 5 minutes of arrival. Drink orders were taken right away and were served within minutes . Food was a little bit of a wait but is understandable considering it was a full restaurant, it was well worth the wait though.Didn’t get a chance to take pictures but the food was amazing. Came out just the way the pictures are shown in the menu. Was my families first time there and will definitely be back. Service and food was incredible. Highly recommend.

Great food with amazing staff. Super friendly, great with kids, service was just excellent. We get something new each time we go in. Our food is always hot and delicious. Our server was courteous and very efficient however I ordered an omelette and found it to be very bland and was only barely warm when I received it. Also I found that it was overpriced for what we received

Awful service..not once but twice during my visit mice ran across the floor! Told my server and she said the owner had said there was nothing they could do about it and to ignore it. Not to mention that the restaurant is still VERY loud and the food is never hot. Unfortunately the owners continue to say theyll do better but never can actually provide that service. Beautiful restaurant in other towns but Saint Johns just is not up to par.Server was sweet but that is the only good thing I can say.

I’ve been here quite a few times, never had any complaints at all. Honestly the staff are wonderful, the food it so delicious and always perfect. My kids just love it. We’ve had a few different waitress each time, but Wyomia has been the best. She’s always smiling, so friendly and so good with kids. She’s pretty amazing. I’ve recommended all of my friends and family to eat here countless times. I always keep coming back. Can’t get enough. Amazing!!! Check it out if you haven’t already.

Had breakfast last week and will definitely be back. Was a bit of a wait for our food as it was busy but our server Katelyn was very attentive and made sure our drinks were never empty. Was very pleased with the service as I’ve never had a server pay as much attention as she did , great job ! Food was also very delicious and worth the wait. Will be back again soon .

Unreal food . 3 meat skillet is deadly. Big fan of all the servers so Im not sure why some people are upset but as far as I can tell they are more friendly/attentive than most other restaurants Ive been to. Love the side dip herb may . So good on the taters

Tried this restaurant pre Covid 19 and walked away due to long wait time and restaurant was 60 percent empty. Floor management seems lost when it comes to setting people waited 20 min and line never moved with empty tables walked away and flow. Second try was a little better for wait time however they are at 50 percent capacity with new rules for Covid. However the food experience was 100%. This chain has got the ability to rock the breakfast business and I would highly recommend giving this a try...

Went with my friends over reading week . And was blown away from the service and food !!! Chloe was my server and she recommended the oh la la crepes. Everyone’s food came in 10 minute after ordering and the crepes were fresh and delicious. It was so filling !! . This place is definitely the spot to come with friends and family for brunch !

Love the variety, this is definitely the best breakfast spot in town. Have yet to try their lunch but it all looks great. Will be back

Ive been to the restaurant twice now, and Im happy to say that I enjoyed it more the second time. The restaurant has high ceilings and tile floors with very little to absorb sound. As such, it can get quite noisy quickly. However, the menu is quite large and has options for many different diets, and the service is good.

The food here was nice and fresh! The decor is very pretty as well. My only concern is that since there is no carpet or wallpaper and the ceiling is open its easy for everything to get quite loud. Still, I would definitely return and try more things on the menu :)

Had a great experience came in with a horrible attitude and major tooth pain thanks to some dentist work.....even more thanks to the staff for understanding my demise of the day.....food was even better then expected and modified for my needs.... fed it to the baby after he slept the whole meal thanks to the atmosphere of the restaurant.....this was one of the easiest Saturdays in st John for breakfast Ive ever had

Don’t try to order take out. We ordered two things and got THREE completely different meals than we’d even said in the first place. So we ended up spending $50 on meals we never even wanted.

Revisited and very very pleased. Had a bad exp a few weeks ago, discussed with owners and everything was solved. The food is amazing!! Had a spicy hollandaise chorizo skillet and loved it so much. Worth the visit for the delicious coffee and the wonderful, prompt service.... Thank you so much and Ill be back soon!!

Great place for breakfast. Huge portions and fair prices. Ceiling is high in here and its gets a little load when its busy. Food is delicious.

Bad. Ordered a take out market salad and added crispy chicken. Paid 24 dollars for a soggy warm salad with overcooked dried out sliced crumbed chicken (5 tiny pieces). Never again. What a rip off. Threw it in the trash.

Had the Chicago eggs benny and it was amazing! The homes fries are incredible. Restaurant very clean and our server Tiffany was very fast,friendly and very good at her job! Definitely will be returning and recommending

Amazing staff

Bad service, took 20 minutes or more just to take our order. The drinks came out right away, then our toast arrived about 25 mins later, then our breakfast 5 minutes after that. Food looked amazing in the menus but not so great when it arrived, it wasnt hot, just warm, so we had to eat it very fast or send it back but couldnt wait any longer. The place was extremely noisy, cold, overpriced and over rated. We paid over $70.00 for 3 breakfasts, this is our first and last visit

Really isnt a bad place, much better food than Coras and the selection is good too. I had the Greek skillet and it was delicious. One drawback is that it is loud and sounds like a cafeteria if it gets busy.

Considering they were short staffed today, forgivable. Yet the wait was a bit excessive. Food was cold as well as our seating area. Servers worked hard and were apologetic of the circumstances.

Loved the Vegan dish...kids loved their smoothie bowl.. great place.. great service..would visit again.

Ordered pancakes and fruit... Pancakes were burnt and cold. Returned the pancakes and they were replaced with very undercooked pancakes that were practically mushy dough. Didnt bother getting them replaced again. If you cant cook simple pancakes while trying twice than you probably shouldnt be a cook. Service was friendly, but an awful lot of flies in the restaurant as well. should be easy to keep them out with two sets of doors. Wont be returning or recommending.

This was my second visit & it was such an improvement over the first time. Uber friendly server, quick service & great food! What more could a person ask for?

The food and service were great! The only reason why I didnt rate it 5 stars was because of how loud it is in there. The minimalist, high ceilinged, open concept design looks good but theres nothing to absorb the noise. My mom and I practically had to shout at each other across the table. This is not the place to bring children or persons that are sensitive to noise.

The food is fantastic and the service is impeccable. The ambience was very nice as well.I recommend all my friends to visit this place
