This place is also known as shaktipeeth of Mata Sati. A beautiful track of about a kilometre full of mist and fogs when you reached to the top you feel the you are above on the cloud.☁️☁️🌨️

The roads before the destination of this holy temple are just so perfect, those trees make it even more beautiful. Worth visiting this place specially in august September.

This temple is is on the top of the mountain. The tracking path is stained and it feels stairway to the heaven . So calm and so solace . Feels like a Devine power is very near . Very few tourist reach here , so no crowd and hassle. A must visit place .

The place where this temple has been mentioned is not there, it is not in Sabdarkhal, it is in Hindolakhal block of Devprayag, nearest to it is Jamnikhal market which comes in Tehri Garhwal and not in Pauri Garhwal.

Jai Mata DiChandrabadani Temple is one of the Shakti Peethas of Goddess Sati and a sacred religious place. Chandrabadni Temple is situated at an altitude of about eight thousand feet, situated on the Chandrakut mountain on Tehri Marg. This temple is 33 km from Devprayag. It is located at the distance. Adi Jagatguru Shankaracharya established the Shaktipeeth here. Chandrabdani is important in the Shaktipeeths of Uttarakhand in religious, historical and cultural terms. This Siddhapeeth is described in detail in Skandpuran, Devi Bhagavata and Mahabharata. In the ancient texts, the name of Bhuvaneshwari Siddhpeeth refers to the Chandrabdani temple. From the Chandrabadni temple, the heart of Surkanda, Kedarnath, Badrinath peak, etc. gives a fascinating, attractive view. In the temple premises, only Brahmins of Pujar village come to worship in the temple. Shreeyantra is located in the temple, not the idol of Goddess Chandrabadani. It is a legend that the body of Sati cannot see the idol of the Goddess by falling at this place. Priests also bathe Maa Chandrabadni with blindfolding. It is popular that if any priest tried to see the idol in ignorance alone, then the priest became blind. There is always a crowd of devotees to see the mother in the Chandrabadni temple. In the Siddhith Chandrabdani temple, every devotee and devotee who comes to ask for prayers with devotion, Maa Chandrabadni turns the devotee and the devotees mantle. The devotees dedicate in the form of candle, fruit, incense sticks, incense sticks, sardine, silver ornamentation of seventy percent offering to complete the prayers.

After walking for 2 kilometers and heading there, we arrived at Chanderbadni Dharamsala at 9 pm, which is only 500 meters away from the main temple.In terms of Dharmasala, I believe it is the best place to stay near the temple.Also, the owner was very polite. The hall has 6 separate beds for a nominal fee of 50 Rs.The food here is prepared on demand. The next day, we went to the temple early in the morning.Usually open from 7 am for devotees.Bit about the templeIt is said that Mother Parvati, being unhappy in the sacrifice of her father Daksha, committed suicide in the Havan Kund. After this, Lord Shankar became sad and started roaming in many places, keeping the dead body of Mother Sati on his shoulder. It is said that the body part of Mother Sati fell here. Because of this no one can have darshan of the idol of the goddess.
