Excellent service, delicious cuisine, beautiful Ambience then their staff (even the owner) were very supportive and helpful and made us feel like home. The location of the cottage is very much ideal for the travellers who prefer to stay in a peaceful environment. Moreover if anyone wants to enjoy the view of Gangtok City as a whole, then I would clearly recommend for this hotel.

Staying with Tranquila cottage is an experience not to miss. It was the best hospitality I experienced in my life with such politeness. The Tranquila cottage is warm and welcoming. They will provide you with a relaxing stay, absolutely delicious home cooked meals, a beautiful clean room with a beautiful view of gangtok. I am a single traveler and felt completely at home while staying with them. I hope to visit again one day and would recommend Tranquila cottage to anyone who finds themselves in Gangtok. What a lovely property ❤️. Located at such a beautiful and peaceful place and very well maintained by the wonderful couple Nikhil and Anusha. Such a warm welcome even at midnight and made sure I faced no difficulty at all. Provided complete facilities even to the guests without no prior booking. Food is fantastic and services are impeccable. If one wishes to have the best night view of Gangtok city, this is the place to be. Id suggest everyone to stay here rather than Gangtok. Trust me, once youve been here, youre not going anywhere else.

I absolutely love this place. The owners are friendly and make all efforts to make the stay comfortable. Nikhil, the owner had planned the whole tour of sikkim. It was managed well, from the permits to the cab, everything was as per our needs.The view from this place at night is so beautiful. The place is peaceful.

Tranquila Cottage has such lovely hosts. Engineers by profession but chose to start a warm homestay.It has lovely view from the room.The place has peace and calmness.The food is just like home food , absolutely sumptuous. The entire staff is rather sweet.I highly recommend this place to everyone.

This is the best place to enjoy the nature and views. I would recommend all to stay at this place. Hospitality is perfect the owner is really kind and down to earth , it feels like we are spending time with our family. The manager Sonam sherpa is a gem of a person he really takes care of all the guest and makes sure the guest doesnt have any problem... Wish I could rate 100 stars ......

Everything about tranquila was great 👍🏻The owner of the property Nikhil and Anushka were amazing .. gentle and polite person i’ve met . The food was awesome and the view from my room 301 was heaven. The room was big enough for family and comfy enough for a couple to enjoy the stay. Perfect location to avoid chaos of the city and get lost in the woods of the nature and enjoy the view and the hospitality of the staff..I will surely recommend this Property to all my dear ones.

I stayed in tranquila cottage with my Girlfriend. It was really awesome experience. Hotel is little bit far from the main town but always you can get a taaxito hotel and its really worth. I stayed in hotel 2 night its really great. Everything is perfect. Staff is super good and super friendly. you can always find proper indian & ethnic food and international food in the hotel restaurant. Room is super luxury (Comparing to other indian Hotels) and very clean. OMG morning and the evening view its like a Haven. I would recommend this hotel to anyone Family, Couple or work. I would go there again for sure.

Blessed with a surreal view and an amazing staff to boast of, the place is an absolute treat.We had the pleasure of visiting the place on my fiancees birthday surprise trip. The way Anusha di orchestrated each and every surprise to perfection is beyond words. She is a sweet sweet person who slays it as a host and I wish her all the very best . She even arranged for a beautiful birthday cake and reserved the best spot for the New Years Eve bonfire for us as I had to propose my fiancee on the same night. Every moment spent at Tranquila is a memory etched in our hearts forever. I would love to be there again .Thank you Anusha Di, Nikhil and the crew at Tranquila. You guys are amazing !!!!! Amazing location, with the best views of Gangtok Town across the hill.Warm hosts Anusha and Nikhil, run the show, both engineering graduates but holding on to their roots and serving the state through the tourism industry.The rooms are spacious and well lit, basic amenities are all covered and kitchen offering varieties of fresh cooked home grown organic items.The tourists can just laze around the whole day or take a trek till Rumtek Monastery or Ranka and experience village life .The connectivity is great from Gangtok as well as the nearby tourist destinations.As the name it indeed offers tranquility and the fresh crisp of mountain air while you gaze at the city lights and dwellings like a dream come true.

A place from where we can get stunning view of a Gangtok town, outstanding hospitality with a delicious appetizing north indian cuisine...ohhh yes the momos gosh uve got to try it a complete kings table...coming to room its absolutely laundered with a zero chance for us to yammer . A highly recommend place to stay when in sikkim with a ambient environment. And yes the bonus point is we can book a cab for a tour or can hire a cycle to see a local places around, on addition they even take bookings for trekking...which is very much cost effective ...a complete package for staying and travelling to all the wanderlust and a globetrotters... i tell u a place no less than a Disneyland...
