Its a beautiful place. The temple is located at the top of the city , visible from long distance. The scenery is awesome. If u ever visit Rourkela , go n visit the temple. The environment around the temple is so serene that ull get the inner peace just by siting in temple for half an hour.

Amazing experience going up the hill through the stairs. It was a good exercise for my legs. There are stairs to go up and have enough resting benches to rest if someone feels tired or over exaggerated while going up towards the temple. And yes, if someone feel dehydrated, then water tanks are there for water at appropriate points near the stairs. But it is recommended to bring your own water bottle if you dont trust on the water tanks.Even there is a good resting place when you reach upto the temple at the top, this is helpful for people who are older in age wanting to visit this place. From the top of the hill, most part of the Rourkela city is visible forming a complete landscape of the Rourkela city. So, at the top of the hill, a holy temple and a breathtaking landscape of Rourkela awaits you!

Nice view of the City from the Top in the Evening. Anyone coming to rourkela must visit this place. Make sure to take care of your vehicles at the bottom of the hill.The view from the Railway Station itself is the main attraction and anyone would like to be there at least once. Its upon the mountain which sound difficult to climb when u look at the mountain but u can take pause inbetween and climb slowly. Once upstairs the view is really good and its an experience.

The hill side temple is good place to relax. You can have a view of entire southern part of the city including the Steel plant from here. The idol is located inside the cave which has flooring of silver shining Phyllite rock having dodecahedron garnets. The hill has lithology of quartzite and metaconglomerate.

Vaishno Devi Temple, arranged around 3 kms from the downtown area adjoining Indira Gandhi stop on the highest point of the Durgapur slope, is an imitation of unique Vaishno Devi sanctuary of Jammu. Built in the year 2003, Vaishno Devi sanctuary houses excellent icons of managing divinities in particular Goddess Kali, Goddess Lakshmi and Goddess Saraswati. Consistently on sixth February, a celebration named The Avirvav Day is seen here with awesome happiness. The sanctuary is situated in a grand encompassing and a close by give in pulls in part of traveler to this place. From here, one can have a beautiful perspective of Rourkela township. Another sanctuary named Badrinath Temple is additionally situated close to the Vaishno Devi sanctuary.

It was a great experience, climbing those 300-something stairs with friends and the purity of the place was astounding! The hilltop view was an added bonus! Beauty of nature at its best!

A very devine place to visit. The view from the temple is awesome. Loved it.

It is one of the beautiful temple which I saw till the date. It has structured replica like the real Vaishno Devi temple in terms of the little cave. It is one of the attractive place in Rourkela nearby the Rourkela railway station. The view from the top of the hill is just amazing. After reaching to the top position we can see the bird eye view of the whole city. Just amazing!!! The construction is going on at the top of the hill which might be the temple of Lord Hanuman. If you are visiting to the temple you must go to top , you will will get a temporary path to reach there.

Definitely there is something special that you can feel.
