Very old market of Rourkela. One can get groceries to vegetables, from fast food to crockery items, from clothes to utensils items. Puja items to medicines. This a large market spreads over a large area. All most all things are available at reasonable prices. Its location was very convenient for almost all in Rourkela.

This place has existed since forever.I cant believe i am going to write a review on this place which i have visited time immemorial since my childhood days.That being said, i will not be partial in my judgement and analysis. Ispat market or Amabagan as its popularly know exsits as a collection of shops which we now commonly call as malls. The thing is this collection has stayed same over the past 20 years. Shops are the same , just shopkeepers changed. You can literally find anything in here; from food to clothes to books to electronics to meat. A lot of things. However the core structure of the market remains unchanged.Even after so many years, there has been no beautification or major cleanliness program done here to make this a better place. Thats the reason i am cutting 2 stars. This place could be so much better with a makeover. Sadly nobody seems interested in this endeavour.
