Best barber shop experience I have had in my life. Camille was very nice and professional. Even though I was vague when she asked what I wanted, she understood exactly, and I ended up with a haircut I failed to explain.

Even though its popular and you have to wait awhile for the haircut (seriously if you dont want to wait for three hours be there an hour before it opens), they still take their time and make sure to deliver you one of the damn finest haircuts youve ever had. Coffee upon arrival, beer during my haircut, and a gentleman who truly appreciated his craft cutting my hair. 10/10 would go again.

Great Barbers, the best at their craft! They also have a training academy. Ladies are not allowed in the salon environment, only in the academy. So for those guys who want your typical man cave, with a fresh new look, you have come to the right place!

Best barbershop ever!

Very very authentic barbershop. No women allowed and free drink while you wait. Love it! Been there three times now and they dont disappoint like some generic hairdresser. If youre in a hurry then just look for another day when you do have the time to do some waiting. These guys are very meticulous and will keep at it till your cut its perfect.

I went there three times. The barbers are REALLY friendly and professional, but that doesnt take away from the fact that this is an expensive service (€42 for a haircut), and what I got in return all the times I went there was not balanced. This is, of course, my own personal experience.They make hip haircuts for men who wear a lot of product in their hair and are keen on sporting a pompadour. If -like me- you are neither of them, this is probably not the place for you.My hair was groomed so that it looked well there and then. Two weeks from that time I needed a new haircut, all three times I went there.This is a friendly, hip and professional place. Its just not for me, but might very well be for someone else.

Schorem is always a blast, good lads and amazing cuts and shaves. Outside of Covid, they always go the extra mile for their customer, with a beer, a small bite, and a good laugh.

Wow. This barber shop is truly an experience. The location recreates an old barber shop of the 30s. It is only walk in, take a ticket from them machine in the middle of the room and take a seat. 9 chairs, few classical haircuts choices, great professionals. Best one I tried so far in Rotterdam, completely worth the money.

Was waiting there for two hours just to learn that they can only style it sleek in here. If you want something other then the default hipster haircut, youre better off somewhere else.

1.- Waited more than 3 hours on a Saturday morning2.- I asked for a hair cut and I got whatever the barber wanted3.- When I asked to the barber to cut more on the sides he flipped out and in the worst mood he told me that they dont do that... (come on, its just a haircut, actually, MY haircut)4.- My inner ear and upper neck were bleeding when I got home5.- Paid 35 EURIt is a nice place, but unfortunately these kind of attitudes kill the vibe

Amazing barber with highly skilled staff. The enviroment is awesome since all staff members are kind and nice and want to help you, instead of them wanting money. Im gonna be honest, the waiting time is 2 hours (unless youre there at the beginning of the day) and the price is around 45 euros. However, the work they provide, including the time they take to get straight what you expect of them and having the details of your hair more on point than before in your life, the asking price suddenly seems very reasonable. If you want a fine haircut, dont go here it wont be worth it. If you want an amazing haircut, with which you proudly walk around with for months (yeah, it stays awesomr for months), then you should absolutely go here. At least for once, which was the case with me. I thought it would be cool to have an awesome haircut for once and I wanted to see what a 40 euro haircut looks like, but I havent stopped going there since.Have fun!

Great quality haircuts and proper local barbers. Its not just a haircut, you go and visit for a while. Free coffee and beer are present and the barbers will frequently offer you a beverage whilst waiting and/or receiving your haircut. The atmosphere completes the place, since its a 50s-style place with fitting music and furniture. The only downside is the popularity; the place opens at 11 but its advisable to be there around 10 if you want to receive a haircut before 15:00.

Ive been a patron since 2013 and these guys never disappoint. Yes, it can be very busy but the humor, music, coffee, beer and sometimes whiskey (J.D.) make it a nice experience. They operate on a first-come, first-served basis so come (really) early to avoid waiting times. Also check out The Old School, their barber academy, right across The Holy Ashtray in the old Schorem location.

Expensice, but it worth it. Guys are proffesional. Randy is Team spirit guys, Jason gives good advice.

Old school barbers yes but nothing special based on a British barbers but without the class. Terrible I new I would have to wait but sat for three hours and was offered no refreshments or any interaction to let me get a rough understanding of waiting time. Haircut was nothing special and it was overpriced.

I did not go to the haidresser really often in the past as I was a bit mistrutful of the hairdressers and I used to cut my hair by myself, but at Schören I have found my match.39€ for a cut, yes, expensive, but they take care of your hair like if it were theirs.

I waited 4 hours and at the and when the barber asked me what I want so he started we dont do this we dont do that after that he just made whatever he wanted for no time and left me with the worst haircut I ever had in barber shop. 35 euros in the bin 3 months waiting form my hair to grow back to normal not recommended

Best show you can get, but be carefull to whom you hand over your beard. I asked to be carefull with cutting off - and left the shop with half of my beard cut away and the rest of it messed up being thin like a curtain. They dont care about what you want.

The best. Theres not much to say about schorem, you walk in, take a ticket and wait for your turn. Queuing times can be on the long side, but thats just because the guys are dedicated to detail. You will leave with the best haircut youve ever had.Its worth mentioning that you can only choose cuts from the board, but you can ask away once its your turn. Dont feel intimidated by the barbers, their look (heavily tattooed old skater types in psycho and rockabilly get up), and their rough talk with each other is all part of the shops charm... Once youre in the chair they care and are happy to talk about their options. If you have buzzed sides its worth letting your old cut grow out first as almost all of their styles include fades and they will need to have something to fade.If youre on a tight budget, consider asking them if they need any models for training purposes as a cut will cost 35eu. And if you dont want to wait its best to either pop by during mid afternoon midweek or to get there super early... Though youll still que for a couple of hours outside with everyone else trying to beat the que.They will offer you coffee and beer whilst you wait... Kinda takes the edge off.

The quality of the haircuts is really good and the environment is one of a kind. However, i tend to wait about 2.5 hours every time which is ridiculous, and sometimes i feel that it is almost being taken advantage of, having to pay €33.Barbers are good but also have this attitude of you need me, stay there and wait and pay a lot for it. Beard trimming is extra and there is no pricing other than full beard shave and a haircut. So pricing is up to the employee when you need just a trim there and i dont like how there is no transparency with that.Finally, i can see how it has an old barbershop theme and no appointments fit with that theme, but i dont think barbershops were packed every day, at ALL times, so maybe adapt it to the modern age where people want to know how long they will be sitting in a barbershop looking around. It has an interesting interior but for 2.5 hours i would be bored of the Louvre as well. Haircuts are great but try to think more of the CUSTOMER especially in terms of waiting time and pricing.
