You fill out a form and send once you are in the parking lot for you pet to be seen. Wait in car with pet. Call or text them to let them know you are there. Simple procedures like shots the vet tech comes gets your pet while you wait in the car. If your pet needs an examination you go with the vet tech to a private room to see the vet. Right now due to Covid only one vet on duty. Be prepared to wait.
This vet is super in the fact that getting an appointment at any vet on the eastside was 2 to 3 weeks out regardless that my dog couldnt go that long. Within an hour they gave staples addressed 2 other issues also. The reason didnt give 5 stars was called to get an app to get staples removed and I have to come any drop in day and wait an appointment couldnt be made. Ill revise after Tuesday when Bufford gets them out! Overall, do thankful for My Pets Vet Clinic
Its more difficult to get into a vet these days. Visit them online and you have a quick turnaround to get your pet seen. Been there twice during covid. Great team.
I am extremely disappointed by the attention at this place. I waited 3 and a half hours for not even 3 minutes of attention from the veterinary. She did not listen or focused on what my dogs issue was, just followed her personal procedure and left the room as soon as she got in. I was very stressed about a few issues on my dog and none of them were actually attended. They just checked her heart, weight and ears. I wish they invested that time to actually look into her. It is a very non humane service. I know they want to attend as many people as they can. But this way they are not doing any actual positive impact on the cases. On their defense the service is not very expensive, but to be honest, the quality of what I got from them equals to $0 to me.If you are actually worried about your pets health, please do not come here. Not recommended.
Extremely unreasonable wait. My husband arrived at 10am and our pet was not seen until after 2pm. We were informed by the staff at some point but it was still another hour of wait.The length of the wait was understandable but the lack of transparency could be easily improved by a queueing system. Whoever in queue could finish multiple errands within the hours instead of being stuck in the car. Staff can be freed from responding to multiple calls, emails asking for updates and focus on value-added work.
Long wait because it can be busy but these folks took good care of my cat when he got an infection. Staff are friendly and the Doctor is very passionate about animals. You can feel comfortable bringing your friend here for care.
I love this place. The staff is extremely nice and friendly, and they really do care about your pets just as much as you do. There is usually a fairly long wait, so get there early and be prepared. The staff works hard and they have always gone above and beyond so remember to treat them with respect and show a little patience and compassion.
Paid 150 dollars for a person just to pick up my cat from her crate and not even do a urinalysis. I get that there is a shortage of staff but I would much rather have been told they dont know or dont have ample time to help my cat. Now we gotta find another person who will actually complete all the tests with the added costs.
Excellent care at an unbelievably affordable price. Friendly staff and excellent Vet who does everything necessary without going overboard. Dr. Sholes does my dogs teeth and she only extracts whats absolutely necessary. Other Vets have suggested radical and extremely expensive solutions.Since its first come first served, the wait can be long, but you can go down the street to Safeway, charge up your car for free and get some coffee. Staff will estimate how long it might be.
Went in to get a 2nd set of shots on the day we were told to come back. Put in our Visit Summary form in the morning online well before our visit and then called like directed and checked in via voicemail. I was left for two hours in a hot car with my son and pup before anyone called and said that they would not be able to take me that day and to come back another day. They were VERY unapologetic stating that its just the way things are because they are short staffed and busy. I was given the impression they could have cared less about the dog or our business. Turns out that there are lots of better options in the area where my puppy is welcomed with open arms and lots of love and care.. Dont settle for less than the best for you or your best furry friend.
My mom had passed away in December and we were left with her dog. He was 18 years old and in very bad shape. We had to make a decision with him. I tried to nurse him back for 4 months. I knew he was suffering and I was left with a decision that I didnt want to make. They handled his cremation for us and did a wonderful job. Im very thankful for the services they provided for us. We got his ashes, foot print in plaster and a locket of hair. Hes resting with mom and dad now.Thank you My Pets Vet.
I waited for 3+ hours (on a Thursday) and then another hour after they took my pet. This is the last time I will come here. I’ll pay a little extra to make an appointment somewhere else.
This one star review is about the way their scheduling system works.Employees who work there deserve 5 stars - helpful, pleasant, and professional. They handled my dog very well.1 star is because of unbelievably long wait times.I was just waiting for almost 2 hours without being checked in, or without any ETA given. I could do some grocery shopping (Costco is nearby).There are 0 excuses to do it this way. I could understand this a year ago, when COVID started; but its been more than a year and the situation is still the same. What makes it worse is that this problem is so easy to solve, with some minimalistic technology (e.g. your place in line is blah, your estimated wait time is blah), that is it. A whole lot of businesses figured it out.
This business is incredibly selfish. They are not transparent about wait times. They advised me to arrive 15 minutes before opening on a week day to shorten my wait time... After 3.5 hours of waiting in the parking lot with my rambunctious and unvaccinated puppy, they had no information or updates for me. After 4 hours of waiting I received a message that they were ready to see my pet. They expected me to wait 4 hours! Complete waste of time. So selfish
Some people give these guys a bad rap, but ibhave used them for my family members since they opened. I have always had great care, service and prices I can afford.
Our dog Darby had surgery today as well as a dental cleaning! We have NEVER experienced the kind of care and compassion as we did today! Knowing that they took such great care of our very special 9 year old lab means everything to us! Not to mention that our usual vet was going to charge us $2500 for the same procedures! My Pet Vet charged less than $300. Thank you for treating Darby so wonderfully!! ♥️
Original post September 2019. Update: I have been to this clinic since it opened, they have a great staff. Everbody can have a bad day and everyday is not a routine visit as life can be crazy sometimes living on a farm. Im thankful to have a clinic I can trust, who cares not just for my pets but for me too, when I had to say goodbye to our family kitty Chicka. They took good care of the boys and got them “fixed” up. I have been going here forever, I trust them with my fur-babies.

My Pets Vet is staffed with very caring and knowledgeable individuals. They truly care for every pet and human that they interact with. I began bringing my pets to them based on the recommendation of friends and have stayed with them for years because of their reasonable prices, expert care and compassion. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the staff was unable to allow me inside to put my old dog to sleep. As heartbreaking as it was to have to do that, especially without being able to be with her when she passed, I felt confident that the staff at My Pets Vet would ease her transition and make sure she felt comfortable and loved. I 100% recommend My Pets Vet to all dog and cat parents.
You should not go to this vet, because everytime we came here we have to wait 3~4 hours. When we try to call them they wont answer, and when we tell them they make excuses. They always say we dont have a lot of people, they say that but they are not hiring people. Also this place are is not cheap it is EXPENSIVE. you should not come here until they change the processes.
This place is not really a place for pets.You have to wait 2~3 hour every time you come. We have came here 5 times and I’m those 5 times you have to wait 2~3 hours. The employees are great but the person who takes care of the computer system is the problem cause when we make a appointment they say it won’t go threw.
Just had our 6 month old cat spayed here and wow the staff is amazing! I was able to get to the clinic about 30 minutes early and was first in line- I know thats not an option for everyone, but even if you have to wait a while this vet is the way to go if youre looking for an affordable and trustworthy vet! They took great care of our girl, were very attentive to our questions and made the whole process as smooth as possible. Just prepare your paperwork and be ready to wait a little, these folks are working HARD and doing a fantastic job!

All my dogs have gone there since puppies to older. I LOVE Dr shows. She cares for your animal like it was her very own. I like all her staff very professional, up to date on all information, very courteous. I LOVE Gypsy she has been with the Dr many years, she is ways so pleasant, caring, gentle, and willing to help in any way she can for the pets and their owners. Terrible place to go, it is very cheap but I would rather spend more money on a vet that doesn’t have you sit and take 3-4 hours of your day in a car when you were told you could be seen at 10. If you plan on coming here bring a tent, food, and some drinks you’ll be wasting your day away here. I highly don’t recommend coming here ever.
Hello, Im giving this clinic 5 stars. For many reasons. But I would like to mention something about the wait time. I know it takes a long time to be seen there. At one time I waited a total of 4 hours from start to finish. I thought I would be going out of my mind. But I can only imagine how hard the people that work there work to take care of our pets. If the parking lot is full just imagine how busy they must be. We need to think about this and not rush or complain in order to get the best care for our fur babies. A stressful vet is not good. This is hard. They obviously care for our pets, they are friendly, and from what I read, “affordable”.... but, this experience is outrageous. It’s drive up only, first come first serve... no appointments. However, they “should” have some kind of idea of how many people are in front of you.... And “should” be able to communicate that with the other 15+ customers outside, waiting, for seriously, hours. I heard someone was waiting for 5 hours, and I’m running on 2.5 hours, currently.I think you can respect your customers and their time, better/more...In the end, everyone is very friendly, and I know this must be challenging for them, too.. so, be polite and courteous to them.
This was difficult to decide on. The people at the clinic are very patient and super nice. They listened to all of my needs and answered all of my questions, and especially because of this time, its understandable why they are so busy and hectic. But, at the same time, clear communication would be appreciated. Yet, when I read other reviews, I see that they arent prepared for the amount of calls they get.So, it is a first come first serve basis. Which is completely understandable why someone would wait a while once they get there. I went in one day for my cat Astrid to get an exam. I called at 9:50AM and the receptionist called me back at 10:30 telling me that she cant be taken for that day. I would say by the amount of people coming in, thats a really good response time. But because I live 30 minutes out, it was a little frustrating. I didnt really let it bother me though. She told me to come back the next day, which I did. I came at the same time, and this day, there werent really any cars or pets around. I called before they opened and left a voicemail saying that I was there for an exam. I then waited from 10 until 12:30 to get a call back after calling twice leaving two messages, and I see every other person that came in after me getting taken in before my cat. After that, I get a call saying theyll take her. So then, 20 minutes later, they take her, and by 1:30 I get my cat back. ONLY to see that her entire right leg had blood all over it. So, we pull back in and let them know, and they take her and clean her up. But, honestly, all in all, it was just extremely stressful for me, my cat, and Im sure the staff too.I give it three stars because of the fact that every time I talked to someone they were responsive and communicative and told me that its been hectic. And Im a pretty understanding person when it comes to that, and honestly, by the amount of people coming in both days, I believe it. But, to be one of the first people there since it is first come first serve, I felt that the lack of response all the way up until I talked to someone became really frustrating. I literally was getting ready to leave when someone finally walked out, just to get my cat back with blood literally ALL over her leg.I know its a crazy time, so the only thing that I ask for our pets is to please please be communicative with people. I had a spay scheduled, but decided not to go simply because it scared me to see that they couldnt even clean up my cat after bloodwork, and I didnt know how to feel about her being under the knife there. Im sorry, Im not trying to be rude. Its just how I felt about it.

I was nervous handing my pet to anyone other than my regular vet but those fears were eased immediately. My puppy had a broken tooth that needed to be removed, and I was quoted $2200 from another clinic. MPV did it for $120. She did great and Im so thankful for the staff at MPV. Youre doing great work! Every other vet clinic allows you to go in when euthenizing a pet but this place didnt tell me until we arrived that I was going to be handing my dog over in the parking lot after waiting I kid you not, 3 hours! She was all alone during her last moments and because of that I will never ever go back.
I’d give them a 5 star with exception of wish they would let you know when it is going to be longer than 1.5 hour wait time. Maybe even let you drop off and call when ready to come back. Best value and kind employees for sure.

Ive been going to My Pets Vet Clinic for years. They did my babies dental work and large cyst removal. Their office visit fee is one of the least expensive around, but they dont give discounted service. What I mean by that is they have always gone above and beyond for my babies. So many vet clinics are so expensive for general care and they make it affordable and reliable. I love all the staff working there. I recommend not only my clients to their facility, but close friends and family. Love this place!
Id given zero if I could. Just came back from vaccinating my dog. This clinic is first come, first serve, so after waiting one hour and half and my dog being the next in line, they got somebody in instead of us because that dog was seeing the vet! And he had just arrived there, so their excuse was, he is seeing the vet (will be paying more than you) so you have to wait. Next, my bill says they gave my dog a Corona vaccine, but not the DHPP vaccine. I asked why they gave my dog this vaccination without my consent and they said it was a typing error....how do I even know they gave my dog the right vaccination? This was not my first bad encounter with them, i had my (same) dog spayed there and 30 mins after surgery she started bleeding, I took her back to My Pets vet clinic and their answer was our x-ray/ultrasound machine is broken, but you can take her to an emergency hospital and we will pay for the services. They never paid anything. I called them to request refund and they just said, sorry but is not our fault that your dog bled. To this date, I can feel my dogs inside wire stitches put on her from being spayed, to which they said is normal. DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE!!! Yes, its cheap, but your dog is worth way more than that!
PSA!!DO NOT COMPLAIN ABOUT THE WAIT TIMESI love this clinic because I dont usually have a regular schedule that allows me to book appointments weeks in advance. So when I happen across a day I can spare a few hours this is my go to place.Now they are experiencing really high volume of patients. I was there on a monday for a follow up for a post ER visit. I was not seen due to the amount of patients. I arrived 1hr after opening and left at 5pm (i could have left earlier slight communication error on both our ends) they asked me to come back at opening the next day 10am if I could not get into another vet with longer hours that same day. I came back the next day at 9:55 the lot was already full. My dog was seen at 11:30. So I spent a good 7hrs in this lot over 2 days and witnessed a lot of angry rude people but the staff held their decorum. I will always appreciate their friendliness and patient/client care. It surpasses most large vet hospitals. I stuck it out bc after ER COSTS I was really needing to keep a low cost exam fee (pet insurance does not cover exam fees 😒). My dog was cared for promptly and we were on our way. Please be respectful of this staff they are doing their best and if you cant do that find another vet and make your appointment 2-3 weeks in advance. No i dont work here or have an affiliation with My Pets Vet Clinic i just have a problem dog so we see LOTS of vets.

It took 3 hours 40 minutes to get shots for my dog. This practice is clearly struggling with organization and prioritizing their clients. They also gave my dog a shot I did not ask for. I won’t go back and would not recommend.
We waited for over 2 hours in the parking lot after giving them a call and submitting the forms. Very frustrating and unprofessional way of managing the queue. Calls go straight to the voicemail and there is no information on how long is the waiting line.
Like hundreds of people who are stuck in Covid-19 lockdown, I decided to get a kitten. I originally made an appointment at a VCA location but realized, based on their price list, his care would cost HUNDREDS/THOUSANDS of dollars over the course of his life. Thankfully, I discovered this amazing clinic. They have the whole process dialed in. They dont schedule appointments, so I just parked in the lot and called the number posted to leave a message telling them that I was there and I completed an intake form on my phone to tell them why I was there. About an hour later, they called to check him in. A few minutes later, a very kind, friendly, and professional tech came out with some paperwork to sign, then went back in. Shortly after that, she came out to get him. When they were done, they called with details about his exam and I paid with a credit card over the phone. The whole experience took about 2 hours, but that might be because it was the day before a holiday so they were closed the following day. This clinic is a GODSEND and the techs & Vet are doing Gods work. I believe my kitten, Jasper, was and will be in EXCELLENT hands throughout his (hopefully) long life. Thank you My Pets Vet! Well see you in a few weeks for his booster shot!
Frustrating experience. After waiting in my car for over 2 hours after letting them know I was there, my cat was hyperventilating from stress and I decided I just needed to get her home. Then, they call me right after I leave. Colossal waste of time, energy and stress on my cat. I appreciate them being an affordable vet but whats the point if the extremely long wait times make our pets worse off than they were before. Would not recommend.

I called the first week of May on the 4th about making an appointment and bringing my dog for the first time to a vet, I must of called like 5 or 6 times during the business hours and no one answer through the whole week, till this day no one has ever return my call on the message I left them, I say this is shameful and unprofessional since I was looking for a vet in my area. Luckily I find another vet whos willing to check up on the wellness of my dog during these hard times.

This clinic is a great place to get your dog vaccinated. It cost half as much as my regular vet for my dogs annual vaccines. Everyone, from the front desk staff to the vet tech who administered the vaccines, was very pleasant to deal with and got me in and out as quickly as possible. This is a walk-in clinic so there can be a bit of a wait if you come at a busy time, but as long as youre aware of this, its a great clinic to bring your pet to!
Very friendly and good prices. There was some confusion about Services we were told over the phone would be provided but when we got there they told us they didnt do that. But the receptionist did find the time to figure out who we talked to and they honored what we were told on the phone. So everything was resolved after just a couple of minutes. I was impressed that they took the time to follow up with us after our visit. But particularly impressed that they stood by their word. Very thoughtful and professional group of people.
The people that work here are nice, although the wait can be forever! We got there at 3pm abd were the last to leave at 5pm. The whole appointment took a total of 15 minutes tops.
I’ve come here for the past several days for my cats booster shots, and waited in my car open to close without being serviced. i called, emailed several times, i even spoke personally on the phone with the receptionist who told me they were ready for me, right before making me wait another two hours outside without a response once more.i’ve come here for over a year now and never had an issue, theyre very kind and professional people but lack reliability and are extremely unresponsive. i understand this is a covid-19 set up, and appreciate them being open at all but their system of curbside assistance is dysfunctional and a colossal waste of time.

I have brought both my dog Princess and my cat Tickies to them for check ups and to be fixed. They make it affordable which is great! The always take good care of our fur babies. We arrived shortly after the clinic opened at 8. Waited 90 min. to be seen for an appointment we scheduled days earlier (they had quoted us a 30 minute check in).Nevertheless, our neutered pup was well taken care of, thank you.UPDATE: I appreciated the follow up phone call to check in with the dog cared for.FURTHER UPDATE: Our drop-in today was much more expedient. Perhaps our first time visit was an anomaly as far as wait times. Nice care by the Dr. The doctor even recalled our guy from 6 months earlier. :)
Up-front pricing and they dont try to upsell you with every little procedure. They understand that we arent all living on property that has money growing trees. Im quickly falling in love with this place after having been at other vets and being pressured to spend every dime I have.
My dogs are always excited to come here. They see us pull up and they get all jumpy. The staff are all very friendly and have no problem sitting down with you and explaining everything from the bill to the medication to what we can expect to see. The vets themselves are super nice and treat my dogs like family. I can tell that my dogs trust them, and my dogs are a great judge of character.I never fail to get reminder emails for shot updates and things that might be going around that I should look out for. And the pricing is more than reasonable without sacrificing the quality of the care.I highly recommend this place to ANYONE who loves their animals.
The staff is great! Kept us well informed and offered only the services that we needed... Did not try to sell any extras. They were also super sweet to my kids not only did they give them instructions but also answered their questions with patience and kindness.

Prices/fees are good. That said, Waits can be long and you cant make an appointment. We get a different vet each time so there is little continuity of care. Waiting area is bare bones although dog treats and coffee are available.
I have been going to this clinic for my cats since they were Vets for Less and they are the best! I had to have my 19 yr old cat put down several years ago, very traumatic but the staff was very compassionate even sending me a condolences card which every staff member had a little message, even the veterinarians.I would definitely recommend them for your dog or cat.

Since animals are seen by level of importance. Depending on whats going on, it can take some time to see a vet. Like I said its a clinic not an appointment based vet. So stop writing negative reviews because you had to wait. Go-to a vets office by appointment and pay 3 times the amount instead.

I am a Yorkshire Terrier breeder and I went to my pants last year to have my fifteen-year-old Bella put to sleep from old age. They were compassionate, patient, and for the for euthanasia it was only $15. We took her body home with us to bury and two days later I got a beautiful card in the mail that had been signed by the entire staff. I was so impressed and so touched by the amazing vets and staff and the prices are the absolute best. I am now taking my newborn letters to have their tails docked and dew claws removed and to get vaccinations for rabies for all of my brood of Yorkies.

Our trainer recommended this hospital and we really liked this clinic. We found that they are practical and not money minded. The vaccines used do not contain mercury and are dosed as per the weight of the dog. Most of other hospitals put high quantities of vaccines causing the animal to have nausea. The rates are very low compared to other hospitals.
They are amazing, friendly, professional, and they have a fair price. Id highly recommend it. The bad part is the waiting, but it totally worth it.My first time I went there it was to neuter my dog and they were really good! He did really well, and the price was fantastic. After that, Im always bringing my baby here for what I need: check up, vaccines, bravecto, nail trimming... everything.

I brought our newly adopted kitten here for a swollen lip towards the end of the day. The staff were super polite and answered all my questions. The vet was precise at diagnosing a complex issue with our little girl, she looked over her previous records and discussed all of my concerns. Id definitely recommend this vet.

I have been taking my cats there for a few years because I could no longer afford my regular vet, although I loved them. This clinic has been outstanding. A few months ago when my male cat collapsed in their office they called ahead to the emergency room to tell them I was coming and they were very caring towards me. My cat eventually died at the emergency room and I received a condolence card from this clinic.I have found them to be nothing but caring and compassionate here. They take their time to diagnose and when they need to send you to a specialist they do. I cannot imagine the negative review even happening because i have never seen anything even close to that in the time I have been there.Please try them out and see for yourself - I was recommended by a friend and have been nothing but happy since.
Ive been coming here for several years, mostly routine things. The Pros: Its very affordable comparatively speaking. The Cons: The wait time is ridiculous because they dont take appointments. During the last 2 visits, Ive waited a total of 3.5 hours until I could get in to see a doctor. First time, they skipped over my name on the list and today they had an unscheduled surgery (which you dont find out about unless you ask). In the meantime, youre expected to sit on these incredibly hard benches. I see a lot of staff milling around but havent a clue as to why they are so poorly run and have so little regard for their clients time. If you value your time, go someplace else.
We had to have our 14 year old cat euthanized in July. The office staff was so compassionate and caring. She took us into a room as soon as she knew why we were there. Two doctors came in, they did not question our decision or judge us, they were very warm and caring. They made a very difficult situation as good as it could be. We were able to stay in the room afterwards for as long as we needed. The cost was very minimal. Highly recommend them.
Easy to work with and affordable. They perform good work and you will never feel like they gouged you. They have open walk-in hours and can get a bit busy so be patient. Not fancy, just good care for your pet.
Great place with friendly staff. Even our very nervous wieners dont mind going here. Always professional and accommodating.
Came here with my cat, the prices are decent. The staff is friendly sometimes. the lack of communication with you about the status of your animal is borderline incompetent. You essentially have to do their job for them when it comes to keeping track of what you have had done for your animal. Went back and looked at my receipts. They charged us for a vaccine but did not administer it. Until the charges are reversed it will stay one star. Edit: Apparently he did get a vaccine. Not sure what to believe anymore.Edit: No one has any idea what they are giving your pet, vaccines are missing, records of what has been given to your animal all of a sudden appear. Notes are kept on sticky notes in files and lost regularly.If you have the money, go somewhere else. A otherwise great nurse and veterinary staff are undermined by a lack luster front desk staff.
Hated it. Worst vet experience EVER! Waited for 2 hours, staff did a poor job of communicating. Wont be back.
Love these guys finally a vet that understands I cant have a vet bill that I pay off for the next 10 years. I love my pets but I would also like to send my children to college!
Very reasonably priced for top quality service. They really understand and love my maltipoo, Happy. We have moved farther south but still consider them My Pets Vet. Great name.
Had to put my dog down and they were wonderful through the whole process. They didnt try and take advantage of the situation with charging for stupid stuff. Very thankful ❤
I needed to put my sick dog down. They were compassionate and kind to me and my dog. The cost very very reasonable.
