Im Vinod Ankith a former student of Pandey sir while he taught IIT coaching in Hyderabad and with his guidance I was able to score 625 AIR and have just recently graduated with a Computer Science Degree from IIT Hyderabad! Ive gotten Placed in D.E.Shaw with one of the HIGHEST packages in IIT Hyderabad history and if you look at Indian offers it is also one of the highest ever offered in any IITDespite not taking part in Pandey Sirs Mathematics Classes in Rohtak, i felt really compelled to leave a review because he was the most influential person in my academic life. The lessons in rigour, logical analysis, along with a deep understanding of foundational mathematics that i learned from him have truly enabled me to have a great appreciation for mathematics and tremendous success in my higher studies. I used to love physics more than any other subject but the 2 years that i had the privilege of studying under him changed my mind, and im very fortunate to have studied in a math-heavy department like Computer Science. I still remember how everyone else in IIT-Hyd struggled to adjust to the higher standard of proofs and rigour required by undergraduate mathematics while I found it a piece of cake since i learned all this stuff back in intermediate as Sir would always go beyond the syllabus to truly give us a rigorous understanding of every concept, no theorem went unproved!In fact one of my favourite things about Pandey Sir is that he truly embodies what it means to be a teacher, i can recall so many fond memories where seemingly unrelated mathematics discussions would end up into fascinating talks about psychology, economics and even life lessons. It had such an impact upon me that i even took psychology courses during my degree too!To end i must say that I had the privilege of studying under many professors in IIT Hyderabad, and most of them might have had better degrees, more cutting-edge knowledge, greater research publications but I genuinely have not seen another professor like Pandey sir. I will truly cherish the time i spent learning from him and will ever be grateful for it. You guys in Rohtak dont know how fortunate you are to be able to learn from him!
