In this zoo you can see different kind of animals and birds and much more. Good place, very neat, and clean. Children love this place. You can find many eateries and drinks. If you live in Riyadh, definetly this place should be in your bucket list to visit. I highly recommend visiting this Riyadh Zoo.
Hi coming on Friday and Saturday there will crowd.for parking there is lots of space no need to worry. Entrance to the zoo you have to pay 11.5 riyals .the best month to visit is Nov to Feb enjoying the cool climate. The place is clear no worries. Kids really love this place & please take care of your children when they are fully exhilarated i have seen kids try to go near animals & try to climb on fence and fallen down .its a beautiful place in Riyadh
Riyadh zoo is a good attraction in riyadh, located in heart of city in Malaz. Very easily accessible, best time to visit is after 4 PM and 2 hours is sufficient. Good variety of animals and birds, small vehicle available for round trip and basic food items available. Entrance ticket is SAR 11 for adults and free for children. Sufficient parking is available

Must visit place in Riyadh. It looks really cool. Plenty of animals, birds will excite us. Kids will enjoy the trip.can go as a picnic. Clean and nearly maintained. Safe too. Need two to three hours to complete the trip. If you like you can go to train journey too.
One of my favorite placesto take my kids but only when the weather is right .. bring your own cold drink of coffee and take the train ride first then walk by the animals u like
Great way to spend quality time with the family while being amazed by the beauty of wildlife animals and no where else but in the heart of Riyadh. The African Elephants are the star of the park and the train ride is a fun way to view the entire park in comfort.
Loved the place......As a community member, i felt guilty that people are throwing plastics into the animal cage. Animals are trying to eat those which will be unhealthy for them... Visitors should avoid such things...Very nice place for family and kids to visit.For bachelors only Monday and Wednesday...Many species has been maintained really well...Hats off to Saudi government.

This place is good to visit. But it is too much rushy especially over the weekend. It’s better to avoid going these days due to covid. If you still wanna go then try to visit on week days.New glass cages has been added and kids slides have also been installed. And 7D zoo cinema has also opened in it.
Center of the city Zoo. Better for a week end trip with family. Its not a very big but it keeps satisfied for a day.Safe for children, well maintained and clean place.Weekdays are not much crowded, So it will be best time to visit.
It’s nice zoo and it’s a bit small and the variety of animals are less. Hardly taken 2.30 hours to complete. Toy train is available but it’s doesn’t have any stops near the cages. Snakes are not presently available in the zoo.

Surprisingly a good zoo to visit in Ryiadh. Only 11.5 SR to enter. Clean and doesnt smell. Somehow organized. It has a verity of animals, not all of them are labeled. But they are all in good shape. You can finish the place in one hour if you want.

Sunday holiday.. children will definitely will have fun and enjoyments.. Tea shops and ice cream shop available.. bring sitting mat while visiting.. we can carry foods and snacks..
11,50 sar for entrance and you can see a lot of different animals. Kids will love time spent there.There is a big car parking space so dont worry to go on holidays, you will find parking anyway
It is really crowded there and the ticket line isn’t organized. However, the prices are excellent and there is a variety of animals there. The kids really enjoyed their visit and they want to go there again!
Love it love it love itIts such a nice well mentained zoo with so many different animals. Kids loved it and so the adults.would recommend to carry water bottle while going there.You will find all kinds of animals, birds, and white lion looked majestic and beautiful.Elephant was very bulky and entertaining.they have parrots of different varieties, the giant crocodiles was lying lifeless.All these and many more to see for just 11SRTHATS AMAZING DEAL.

Zoo was great in the middle of Riyadh. Try to go early in the morning and it won’t be crowded. It’s ok size and will take approx 2 hours to visit.

This place hold lots of my childhood memories... I highly recommend it. The animals are put in thier natural habitats.Also, there are snack cottage all over the park! I loved watching the lion and the white white lions, the tiger, the bear, and many many more!
The Zoo was organized you can finish the tour in around an hour. There are descriptions near every animal and some information about it. The experience was not so immersive. But kids have fun learning. It is clean also and well maintained.There is a parking near the entrance which is also a very convenient.There are some mini markets inside you can buy water and other snacks.

Riyadh Zoo has many attractions for kids. The animals have quite spacious enclosures. The design of the enclosures ensures that people stay at a safe distance and dont feed the animals. The path through the zoo is fascinating and houses animal enclosures on either side. Sundays and Wednesdays are for singles only. Mondays are off and other days are reserved for families.

Riyadh zoo. Its a very popular landmark and rightly so. This place is so properly maintained that you really have to appreciate it. Marked by a good location, ample car parking, disabled friendly access, it has it all. In times of Covid19, all the necessary safety protocols are being strictly implemented. The entry is free of cost and timings are 9am to 6pm Monday through Saturday, Sunday being an off. Inside the zoo, the signages are quite clear. Various animal species are for display including few from Americas and African continent. A train does service for those who wish to view the zoo without walking. Good number of mini food marts are open throughout the zoo park which cater the essential savouries along with a proper patisserie in the premises which goes by Cafe du Jardin. Gender segregated restrooms are available. A 3D cinema showcasing the different species and souvenir shop complete the experience. Masjid is available too. A perfect place for a day outing with family. One word of caution- Just dont feed the animals. They get their nutrition supply from the management and dont need our stuff. The entire area is always under supervision by the zoo personnel.

Good place to hangout with family in RiyadhBeautiful animals and well maintained.Kindly check with the authority because each day is dedicated to different groups , for instance on Sunday only family , Monday students etc.It closes by sunset , I.e by Magrib time.Everyone needs to rush out as the sunsets because there are mosquitoes and better to avoid mosquito bites.

Riyadh zoo is located in Malaz, al ahsa street. Timings are from 8:30 am to 6:30pm.Winters are best to visit the zoo. I would recommend weekend morning as it is not very crowded. The place gets very busy after asr prayer.You can not feed the animals and there is a person guarding each animal to make sure people don’t try to feed them or litter the place.You can carry your own food and have a picnic inside. There is also food available inside that can be bought easily. From burgers to snacks (pop corns, chips , drinks) everything is easily available.

I am extremely impressed by this zoo. It is extremely well maintained, very clean and organized.However, the staff at the entrance are very ill mannered, they are constantly shouting at the guests both male and female.Entrance tickets are for 10 or 11 Sr for adults and 5 or 6 sr for kids.There is canteen inside and a train as well for the kids to ride and enjoy.

Absolutely amusing and great experience for my son, I really enjoyed it and I recommend it for families and their kids to visit it after 3 oclock cuz we missed seeing most animals for we visited it at 9:00 am. I also recommend visiting it in more pleasant weather or at winter.
The zoo is well maintained and a great variety of animals are found here..African Elephants, Bengal Tigers,Giraffes and many more..we spent about 3-4 hours there and the kids had a great time...the train ride is also fun!

Visited with family in winter vacation. It was very crowded and finding a parking space was very tough. They have specific days for families only so one must plan accordingly.The zoo is not very big. The variety of animals is good but must be increased. You can find some tuck shops in the middle.The zoo was clean and well maintained. The entry fee was SAR 11.5 for adults and SAR 5.75.

This is our 3rd time visiting the Zoo, and Im so glad to see the lot of improvements and expansions going on there.Sadly some of the water features in the exhibits needs some type of purification system to ensure the water stay clean and free of algea etc., as well as getting recycled instead of to extract the water each time it needs to be cleaned out.Another thing that has been bothering me is the Tapir or sometimes referred to as the Water Elephant/Pig, which is currently with the llamas in their exhibit, which is an animal from the Amazon have no water bay, this animal mostly spent its days in water and hunts at night or stays on land area during that time.

Its a wonderful place for kids and as well as the adults... it’s great for photography and entertainment... the prices are reasonable (adults 11.50 sar , kids- 5.25 sar).They almost have all the animals..... it can be a picnic point since outside food is allowed as well as a school trip ... the only thing i see wrong is that the animals are not cleaned ..... barely any animal was showered ... but else than that the place was wonderful

Assalam u alaikum everyone!Hope all of u enjoying the vacations or last days of vacations 🥺almost about to end .💁♀️🤭Sooo to enjoy our last days of azadiA VISIT TO THE ZOO .😂not an essay .😂We have visited zoo many times in our childhood.Also with my kids .But almost after three years I visited again today n there is a very pleasant change in the environment..Firstly almost no smell ...that typical zoo smell ..They have improved the cleanliness of the entire area even the animal cages were well organized ,maintained ,decorated and clean..They made huge green area to sit n relax.even it was crowded we find the place easily..It was crowded but the management was seriously taking actions against the sops ...masks social distancing etc ..Many mini markets , washrooms as it was one or two before I guess.A cafe and a restaurant too. We didn’t try but was looking good ..We ordered KFC. and they deliver at the zoo gate ..Entrance ticketFor adults 11.50srFor kids above 3-12 ...5.75sr.It was really cold today but till the time we were walking and it was sunny so we didn’t feel but once we sit n after 4 pm it was chillllled weather.So best time to enjoy these days is 12-4 pmSooo if u t looking for place for kids to enjoy take them to the zoo . M sure they will enjoy .👍

We couldnt get in to the zoo and my kids get disappointed because i didnt wear an Abayasuch an ironic because of what they have said a bout cancelling the dress code and every one is free to wear what ever he wants as long as it respects their traditions and culture so hippocratic

A nice couple of hours out with the children. Animals seem well kept and enclosures are thoughtfully laid out. Shame about the behaviour of other visitors throwing food despite staff doing their best to stop this. A few more information signs would be good.

Despite the age of the zoo, its generally clean, well organised, and good variety of animals.Entry was 11sar adults, 5sar for children. They dont have online ticket purchase so you have to queue up on the day, long queues but they were fast.Its a good size zoo, requires few hours.They have snack shops which are reasonably priced, selling popcorn, drinks, slush, crisps etc.You can take food in from outside and picnic is the norm, you can even buy a picnic mat outside of the zoo.There is a car park on the left across the road.

A very nice place to take children for them to learn about animals. There are many kinds of animals to see, but would you please give the animals more attention? I dont think all these animals get fed daily. Visitors throw bottles, paper and even trash in the animal cages. The animals might try to eat this, thus they might get hurt, or worse....But very nice place, keep up the good work. 🦁🐯
