I placed an order on 29/08/2021 and received it 31/08/2021. I wasn’t expecting it so fast especially because 30/08/2021 was a bank holiday! It said will arrive within 2-5 working days but I didn’t expect it to come so quick. I was extremely satisfied with the delivery and also I ordered a few kurtas the quality was lovely but the sizing seemed to be too generous, it was bigger than other places, so they were quite loose on me. Other than that I’m really satisfied with quality and how quick everything was.

Like many shops, there are a lot of empty shelves at the moment. I wish they would make the prices more clear, a lot of fabrics have no price on and you have to ask. Almost nobody was wearing a mask in this shop today which worried me a bit.

Got some of the cutest jewellery from this place. I love shopping here when passing through the city. So friendly and kind and also such beautiful clothing/jewellery for amazing prices!

Used to be such a nice store. Needs to be updated, the inside feels like its falling apart. Dodgy flooring, and it just looks like its in need of a makeover... lots of repairs and decorating needed. Otherwise staff are great and friendly, products are really nice too. A refurbished would just complete the store

Big choice of Asian fashion. Mens dept have a big choice of wedding and party clothes. Jewellery dept has the latest designs. Will definitely go back . No carpark, you have to park on the st.

Quite dated and crummy on the inside, but some of the bridal and groom stuff is good, haberdashery has an extensive range for anyone interested, and surprising massage/spa services tucked away in the corner. Staff are almost non existent for a store of that size, you literally need to go hunting for them and they are begind tills so not the most accessible if you need help.

Fantastic Place, Honestly I went on Eid day and they was open, they open from 12- 6. Any I arrived at 5.50 they still let me in, initially I only went for a hijab but unfortunately they didnt have my colour 😕 anyway they has some amazingly beautiful elegant suites in so I purchased another one. I left the shop at 6.35 the lady wanted me to try on many different suits to make sure I was happy 😊 she even help me find some jewellery to match 🍓 Bless her she is a little diamond 🔹️. Thank you sister.

I ordered on 4th July and before ordering I asked them delivery time. They said it would be 4-6 days and till today (3rd August) I havent received any delivery. What even worse is since a week they are not replying to any email. Running a fraud company. I want my refund. 10 days before I asked update and after repeatedly trying and emailing - they have the audacity to tell why did not you track? Is tracking and delivery my responsible? why the hell I am paying money. Worst service ever. Shameless people. Before purchasing i emailed and asked about shipping, DID YOU EVER SAID CUSTOMS WAS MY RESPONBILITY. TOOK MY MONEY AND DON.T DELIVER PRODUCTS. TOTAL SCAM

Excellent fabric, service, & staff. I ordered fabric, it arrived on time, well parcelled. I had one delivery that wasnt quite what I ordered. I returned it, & had a personal call from Hamza, who sent me the correct product, & refunded my postage, called me again to say the parcel was on its way. Really helpful, polite staff. There was some sort of rubbish bring burnt just outside Bombay stores at the back of the building. Inside was smoky and was full of carbon monoxide. Could smell a fire and was making our eyes tear and throat was burning. My 6 month old premature son was with me and I rushed him outside.

Great selection of crafting fabrics and haberdashery towards the back of the store. Can take a while to look through all the fabric in the centre as they are piled on top each other, but there is certainly a vast selection to choose from at reasonable prices too. Parking is available and free, but you are not always guaranteed a space as it gets quite busy with other shops in the area.

Although it might seem to only sell goods targeted at South Asian customers they are very welcoming. At the back of the store is an excellent material shop offering a huge range of materials to suit all tastes and needs. They also sell a wide range of edging, buttons, beads, etc to compliment any sewing project.

A really interesting place to visit. Amazing range of fabrics & haberdashery & some really good prices. The button selection was brilliant and not expensive.Staff were very helpful and gave advice on best fabrics for the purpose you want them. Had a lovely lunch at the restaurant/cafe & the chap serving was very good at giving advice on the food. Had a great day out here.

Excellent Pakistani Indian garments for all occasions

Only gave 1 star because there was a ramp for wheelchair users.. Apart from that this store deserves only negative reviews.. No one was there to show us items we wanted to look at/buy,the one employee that was there was too busy with absolutely nothing, she was standing folding an outfit but walked off as we were going to ask for her help.. We used to love shopping here but now I dont think we will bother coming back.. The clothes on the racks were in very bad state and put us off looking, the bridal wear section had a young girl who was supposed to be serving but instead was chatting about the grades she got with her friends.. Im the end we just walked out disgusted..

I have been to Bombay Stores many times now, primarily for the craft department. Over the years I have bought lots of silks, their selection is great. I have also bought uncut suit fabric bundles, which are available in a large choice of colours and patterns. Today I visited in search of silk to line my wedding dress, and was able to find one easily. There is something for every budget and taste.

I would give 0 if I could but unfortunately that is not an option: I emailed weeks ago explaining that I was a bride to be, I was upfront and said that i knew I wouldn’t have time for a bespoke dress to be made so I would be looking to see what ready made options they had that where strictly within my budget. I got a call back to and I was told that all this was fine but to come along as soon as possible, as I am from Scotland I explained I would be allocating a certain weekend for dress shopping and that I would be looking to pop in on a Saturday but wasn’t sure of the time and that I would get back to them nearer the time once I was able to plan the trip further. I messaged the gentleman the day before to confirm I was still coming the next day in the afternoon but would message in the morning to let him know a time, he said that was fine. Next morning I messaged him the time a couple hours In advance and once again I was told no problem. I got there, I wasn’t written down in the appointment book, I said I had spoken to someone who confirmed it was ok to come along, they lady who seemed to be organised the circus got my name wrong. We sat for 45 minutes before we were seen to, the lady was rushed, talking to fast. Wasn’t professional, basically scoffed and said they had no ready wear but asked me to take a look anyway, and when asked the prices, was told the starting prices where above my budget. I was angry at the time wasted, that my information wasn’t recorded, that I was given the wrong information, the lady was so rude and not fit for that role, every bride deserves full attention and made to feel important but she acts like she is above everyone. The bridal section is a complete shambles. Wouldn’t advise any bride to waste their time. Disgusting attitude.

I have 3 stars for memories that go back decades. When communities first moved here this was the place to be, parties, weddings, clothes, shopping’ you can’t take those memories.The place is the SAME’ exactly, every inch can you believe it, even the stuff inside is the same.The food is memories’ but pricey, it needs a revamp but the charm and memories still exist.

Not what I expected. I wanted to buy fabric like cotton jersey or french terry. All you find is polyester and everything you need for an indian wedding including beads, laces, shoes, turbans,etc.Great place if you need that.The street food shop around the corner is a thing oft beauty and wonder. Nice shop for all you needs bit high prices compared to many shop in Bradford. If you need all things under one roof then your in look. The ladys and mens are very helpful and have changing rooms in store excellent. Just need more bargain please.

Very large store with some nice helpful folks who arent rude like staff at some of the other stores in Bradford. Always visit here first before trying others.
