Rishikesh, the Yoga Capital of the World..is know for its calm and serene environment...the river Ganges and the Hippie Cafes here.It is well Connected by Roads from Haridwar and Rails (Station Name: Yog Nagari Rishikesh) and should be visited from Feb to Apr and from Sep to Nov any Year.This point, The Rishikesh ViewPoint though isnt a real point on the map, but one can visit the Iconic Laxman Jhula (the temple side) to enjoy the view of mighty Ganga..along with the 13 Manzil Mandir which can be seen in various pictures.

Its not any special view point in Rishikesh. better to go Laxman jhula or terah manjil mandir for photography. These locations are much better for panaromic view.

Rishikesh view is now obstructed by the tree growth; Fortunately the PWD department staff have started the cutting and trimming of overhanging bushes and trees; Hopefully by this weekend we shall be able to get a panoramic view of the Ganga with Luxman and Ram Jhula both clearly visible; MAHAKAL

Loved the place . It was raining and we went straight through the road on a stride to capture a wonderful view of the magnanimous Rishikesh , it was enchanting , specially with those black clouds hovering above us with that pretty drizzle caressing our faces.

At this point your can see the whole rishikesh. Great view in evening and morning..... Visit at least one time..... At Golden hour..

One of the best place to observe and explore the beauty of RISHIKESH.

There is no as such any spot development or this place donot have infrastructure.its just the pathway where we can stop sideways and have view...though the view is worth watching.the way through the trees and the view throughout the journey was relaxing.

Easy to get here from anywhere in rishikesb. The view is pretty cool. I Deffinatly recommend this one

The way to the view point is also a relaxing experience. An easy, quiet road in the forest with great views of the surroundings.

I think it will be more beautiful at sunrise time. I had to look at the sunset and look at Rishikesh scenery and sunset from different directions. It is a place where you can look at Rishikesh at a glance!
