I stayed there for 2 nights with 5 other friends of mine in a dorm. If i talk about the price, it is really affordable and economical and at a prime location but i was really disappointed at certain things.1- There was electricity issue the whole day and i couldn’t work, reason as per them was the bad weather. Their backup facility didn’t do much as the basic wifi facility was interrupted.2- The dorm was untidy, they didn’t change the sheets and the blankets even after other guests checked out. Hair stands were all over the bed,under the pillow and sheets were dirty.3- The washroom was really dirty.4- Their cafe was unhygienic and the food was really disappointing.The common room is something i would appreciate, it was pretty and comfortable and the staff was supportive and nice.Overall, please try to keep your place hygienic and clean specially in these covid times where cleanliness is imperative.

Just give it the Cleanest Hostel in Rishikesh award already! We hostel hopped in Rishikesh, but this is by far the best hostel, even extended the stay from 1 week to 3 weeks..It has hotel like modular rooms with hostel like environment. Did I mention its minimalistic interiors with beautiful wall paintings :)

This place is good for family or indivisual stay as well as bachelors stay. It has dormitory, a very nice common room for studying or office work or just to sit on relaxing sofas and Common iron(for clothes). Overall nice, clean n calm place. Ample space for car parking.

It was great stay at Blue jay hostel. I booked 2 night in Double deluxe balcony room. Room, beds and washroom was very clean with good smell.Common area was my favourite place, where I met many fellow travellers and became good friends.Reastaurant have delicious food with hygiene. Terrace have great 360degree view.The key factor of this hostel is cleanliness.

I stayed there for a week in private room.The hostel has a vibrant cozy common area: quite spacious with comfortable sofas and plenty of resources for spending a fun evening (games, books, netflix) and meeting new people. This is perhaps one of the best common areas I have seen across hostels so far.The hostel is clean and at a very good location, walkable distance to Lakshman Jhula.Had an amazing stay there.

Apart from the fact that the check in timing of this hostel is 1pm, It provide a very good service to its guest. You can choose to stay at dorms and private rooms both. The best thing about here is the food, they provide very delicious foods in their Cafe itself. Also the staffs are very friendly and helpful. They also arrange adventure sports like Rafting, camping, kayaking and etc if you are new there and have no idea what to do.Also, I forget to mention they have a nice common room (probably one of the best things about them) where you can relax, interact and have fun with fellow travelers.Definitely gonna visit there again. ;)

Let me tell you the concept of Hostels, they will charge you twice the money and give you half the service.And by service I mean, there is no room service. If you want even a bottle of water, you need to go to the water cooler on ground floor and fill it up yourself.In my experience, the TV wasnt working. The check-in was a painful experience. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. The wash basin was broken. The wifi, which was my primary reason to choose Blu-Jay, sucked big time.So no, it is not worth the money they charge which is 30-40% more than far better hotels.

The ambience, cleanliness, staff behaviour, game room everything was excellent. our stay was much better than we expected kudos to the team. will recommend visiting 10/10

Hassle-free check-in. staff was very nice and friendly. rooms were neat and clean. just body shower was not available, also we got check-in one hour late. but these things are avoidable when you get a very warm and wonderful service from the host.

It was overall a great stay. There were some problems in the beginning when the rooms werent clean. But after it got cleaned up it was fine. The common room and roof top is amazing.

The place is very clean, well maintained and simply perfect for backpackers! Staff are very friendly, basic amenities and services are taken care of. Although laundry service is offered just near the hostel, I would have preferred to do the laundry in the hostel premises if a washing machine was installed. Apart from that, I loved the stay. Thanks for a pocket-friendly place for backpackers to stay!

Its a great place to stay, neat and clean with good amenities in common area, good cafeteria, though they can improve a bit on bathroom cleanliness, but definitely worth the money and worth exploring

The place is warm and welcoming.A completely affordable place . U get all the options either a dorm stay or pvt room.They have this Common sitting area which is so well decorated,U can watch a movie thr or play games including foosball😌.. exciting right!!!It provides alot of options apart from stay ..like they help u with scooty, taxi, rafting etc. Also the scooty u get thru them are all yellow plate licensed ..so thats a good thing.A spcl shout-out to the front desk guys priyanshu,Manish, Tanmay ..are amazing ppl providing great hospitality.They are extremely courteous and helpful.

The setting is super cool, what with all the graffiti and chilling room, foosball table etc.The rooms are a little too small for 6 beds, but just for sleeping, they are fine.My locker was not working, and they didnt bother to allot me a new one just because I was with a friend and was told to share.They have a different activity for each day of the week, like concert, game day etc. The rooftop is simply superb in the night, with fresh breeze and a view to die for.

Value for money aptly describes the experience at Blue Jay. Common area is huge and has decent options to pass time. The dorms and washroom are clean and some of them offer decent views as well. The cafe upstairs has limited options but the food is good. Wifi connectivity inside dorms can be improved especially for beds at far end of the entrance.

The stay for 2 weeks in Blue Jay Hostel was relaxing. Best suited for Solo Travellers. The cleanliness, peace and activities are good. One can do #workaction here exploring city during weekends. An amazing place to stay, while in Rishikesh. The hostel is just a couple of minutes away from all the major tourist attractions such as The Lakshman Jhoola and the other two jhoolas. As far as the amenities are concerned the hostel has a beautiful common room consisting of a small library section as well as an entertainment section where the guests can sit back, relax and enjoy doing whatever they wish. Rooms are clean, comfortable and hygienic. The staff is super helpful and professional. Finding basic food (neither too good nor too bad) isnt an issue at the place where the hostel is located. All together the stay is an absolutely good value for the money that is charged per night (INR 1400 for the room where I stayed.(may vary)).One last thing, no room services. Theres a restaurant in the premises though.(which in comparison I found to be a bit expensive.)

I was staying in bluejay a day before the start of my trek, valley of flowers. The hostel is better than many others nearby. I was in a private room. The staff was sweet and it was value for money. But here is my bad experience. I payed 50% for one night after the end of the trek in advance, which was about 4 days later. I had to cancel my trek because of bad weather. So next day I asked for refund. They were very very adamant on not returning. They told me about a imaginary label of non refundable on the reception, however it was no where to be found. Further, in the confirming mail they send, it was written full charge will be made if cancellation is made three days to the visit whereas I had cancelled 4 days away. After a lot of struggle and argument, I got my refund when I was quitely left the hotel saying I will send a legal notice as I had all proofs and evidence.Apart from this fiasco, this hostel is good. I was shocked to see thier attitude for keeping my money. It was really sad. If you can afford a little Higher, Id suggest to book dewa retreat.

My favourite hotel in Rishikesh. The staff is very polite and friendly. Cleanliness is on top. Common room is icing on the cake (the best in Rishikesh too). The food is very delicious and variety is there. Made some friends over there especially Mr. Priyanshu.

If you are looking for a place where you could socialize yourself while having all the nearby facilities at one place even with affordable comfy rooms, Blue Jay is is one of the best in regard to this. It totally changed my perspective towards living in hostel. It has its own common area which can never bore you and the cafeteria consisting of different activities like live music or dance every night. I believe no one could have bad experience at this place.

I stayed in Blue Ray Hostel private rooms for 3 nights and 4 days.Rooms was good but services was not as expected. Some things which i did not liked about hostel which are-1. Room cleaning not done on regular basis. If you want to clean your room then yoy have to call for cleaning staff everyday otherwise room will not be cleaned.2. Wifi speed was very low.3. TV was not working in my room number-201.4. Their should be a basic phone in every room so that we can connect to reception for any services or query. If you want any services you have to go down to the reception by the stairs which is very hectic.5. Hotel is not providing Late check out or early check in. I have seen this with many tourists. I want to late check out from the hotel but late check out was not allowed by the hostel they were saying that room is booked so we cant allow for late check out. But when I checked theirs website I can clearly see that their was 2 rooms available for booking in the same category But still late check out was not provided by the hostel. So be prepare for this before making a booking in the hotel.6. Hostels Cafe are not running currently so if you want to take tea or food you have to go outside for this.Some thing which I liked about hotel-1. Common area which was very good and clean.2. Polite nature of every staff in the property.3. Rooms was good.4. Location of the hotel is good.

I stayed in Dormentary, It was good, but regular cleaning of Dorms could have been good. Excellent Common room with variety of Books, Games and IPL. Helped me to know other travellers as well. I havent tasted food, but visited their cafe. Excellent Ambience of Roof Top restaurants..Staffs were very humble and friendly👍

I have been to many hostels but this one has really set benchmark for every hostel chain. Blue jay is the most clean of all. Washrooms are clean and tidy. Health and hygiene was given due importance. It has a small rooftop cafe which is just awsome. The common area is super cool. All the working staff were helpful. Must must stay in this hostel if youre planning to visit Rishikesh

One of the best hotel I ve visited. beautiful ambience, they serve very tasty food at the cafe which is on the top of the hotel . their staff is really very helpful and friendly. Rooms are pretty much clean and comfortable . you dont need to go anywhere they provide all the services such as scooties on rent in a very affordable price . Pro tip - visit during weekends so that you can enjoy musical night along wth the bonfire.

I randomly looked up for a comfortable stay as Rishikesh was my last destination after 15 long days cruising on the bike. I checked in without a doubt in the middle of the night as i was exhausted and cold from the journey so i booked me deluxe room which btw is really relaxing and has an attached balcony (perks). There is ample space to spend at the hostel other than the dorm/private room so go nuts. There is a cafe which is at your service for some yummy snacks. I would most definitely comeback and stay at the blue jay for my next how many ever visits to Rishikesh. ☺️

Hostel facilities are very nice... Staff is very friendly and cooperative..Their lobby area is good and interactive with lovely sitting area ( even for WFH) ..Rooms are spacious and clean.. I booked for 2 nights.. Than extended it..
