It was an ultimate experience to visit here; I have visited the same during rainy season and let me tell you, the beauty of this place is at its peak during those days.. every mountain has spring water, greenery at its boom.. the trek was nice and clean... Some some scenes during the trek could take your breath away... Your bucket list is complete without this place on it...Note: If you visit the trek the place its necessary to have 15 days 30-45 min walk would be necessary and must carry water bottle and all those who are on inhale pump must carry it along...

You can stay for 1 or 2 days free of cost with unlimited meal but purpose will have to related with gurudwara only if not then dont tell them about it. 👍

I am too small of a human being to review shri Hemkunt Sahib. It is the most divine place on earth. Guru Gobind Singh ji, the last Sikh guru meditated at this place and it holds a very great importance in Sikhism. No one goes empty handed from here. Everone who wishes anything with true heart it is fullfilled. It is 6km walking distance from Gobind Dham gurudwara. One can either walk, take a horse on rent or rent a palki as well. Once you reach the gurudwara, one can definitely experience the presence of god there. Like all gurudwars food and tea is served as Langar.

Surrounded by mountains and one can get the blessings of Waheguru ji, this place is very beautiful.🙏

Gurdwara Hemkund sahib Ji located in chamaoli district in uttrakhand. It is situated at a height of above 15000 feet in Himalayan range. It is main holy place of sikh community. It is open in June and close in october every year.It is far away 20 km from govindghat. From there till 5 kms shared jeeps are available. After that can take pony, palki and helicopter (on prior booking). After 2 pm in afternoon, pilgrimes cant stay in gurdwara. In gurdwara they provide Desi ghee khichdi and tea to Pilgrim s. There is always winter season in area.

It is devoted to Guru Gobind Singh (1666–1708), the tenth Sikh Guru, and finds mention in Dasam Granth, a work dictated by Guruji himself. With its setting of a glacial lake surrounded by seven mountain peaks, each adorned by a Nishan sahib on its cliff, It is approached from Gobindghat on the Rishikesh-Badrinath highway. The main town near Gobindghat is Joshimath.

Sikh devotees had built this beautiful gurudwara where langar and tea is served day and night. If you happen to go here - please ensure you cover your head with a scarf or handkerchief and remove your footwear. If you visit the langarkhana take a plate and be seated inside on the floor. Place is supposed to be silent so please do not talk. Lift your hands together whether they serve you chapati. When you are done - there is an area to wash your plate with water and soap.

The tika has a story.After the arti in Triveni ghat we went to the govt bus stop in search of a Volvo to Delhi.But the busses were non ac. Then I searched for busses with good reviews on paytm. Got a sleeper ac but the start point was opposite Gurudwara Sri Hemkund Sahib. So, booked a late night bus so that we may visit the Gurudwara first. The place was holy and all the facilities were inside the premises. Many people were also comfortably sleeping in the gardens . Everything was well managed. Holy and peaceful, nobody stared at our tikas. Some of us were holding 5litres of Gangajal can. Its welcoming for all. After darshan we went to the bus booking office kept the luggage and took Prasad in langar .Must visit and feel the unity.

Hemkund Gurdwara is the most beautiful and biggest gurudwara of Rishikesh. It seems to be anchored like every gurudwara everyday. There is also a facility of parking here. The gurudwara has a very beautiful park and along with it there is a statue before the park.Along with this there is also a library and in front of it there is a pool of water in which there are many fish, there is also a museum in which there are many idols and it shows about the atrocities that were once committed to the Sikhs at some time. When you come to Rishikesh, please come in this gurudwara.

Shri Hemkunt sahib is a religious place of sikh religion , and it is devoted to tenth guru of sikhs shri guru gobind singh ji , the place is situated at an altitude of around 4650 mtrs in himalayas, it is around 275 km from rishikesh and you can travel either by bus or by car to gurudwara Gobind ghat a place from where you need to start the trekking it is one of the tough treks in india total distance which need to be covered by foot is 20 kms and it will take 3 to 4 days to cover the distance to reach shri Hemkunt sahib and then back to Gobind ghat . Even you can hire a pony if you find the trek difficult , The complete journey will be thrilling as while travelling towards Gobind ghat from rishikesh there are a lot of sites which gives you goose bumps while crossing them and if you are a mountain climate and nature loving person then you surely love this place
