Excellent place to stay put, both with friends and family. The place has tastefully done decors and a lovely ambience. The staff is very polite and friendly. I recently visited Rishikesh with parents and stayed at Dewa retreat. Despite being right on the tapovan road, this property still takes you away from the hustle-bustle and crowd of the city. The retreat has swimming pool, spa and massage centre and a dediacted yoga space to boast of. The food is also very good. All in all, the place did add charm to our stay at rishikesh.

Mixed experience.. rooms are neat and clean with beautiful view of mountains but you cannot rely on food and service.. even the breakfast is not upto the mark with limited options and doesnt taste good.. room cleaning service is also not as expected looking at the amount they are charging

One of the few hotels/resort in Rishikesh which have an amazing hillside view from the outside/pool area, food is okay, staff is professional and helpful, Deluxe rooms are big and comfortable but not all rooms have the hillside and pool view, the rooms with this type of view are costly, also there are few basic amenities which were missing in the room and you will need to call the hotel reception to get them.

The rooms are quite big, clean and well maintained. View from the hill side rooms is great. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was just ok type. Nothing great According to the pricing. Its in bylanes so getting to the hotel is bit of a task. Rest all is ok for the price that you pay for a room.

I tried to book the hotel on a call. They gave me a rate then backed off on the rate saying it was per night charges. Further the person refuse to speak and gave another contact person to accept his fault. Horrible mistake.

Very poor facilities...from pictures looked a nice stay but hotel turned out to be a very cheap kind of hotel but price charged was still high. Breakfast didnt even start till 8.10 am while official time was 8.00 am. Which hotel has a 8.00 am breakfast start time first of all. And they couldnt even meet such a late time

The restaurant called Pure Soul is a treat for organic food lovers. It is a place frequented by foreigners who prefer having healthy food. The staff is very cordial and helpful. Staff were so helpful. Helped with luggage as the road leading to the hotel is under construction. Very very helpful receptionist as he got our packed breakfast ready at 4.oo am the next morning.

Ambience was quite nice. Room was clean with quite a good view to mountains. But it is bit overpriced with breakfast one would not expect from this kind of hotel. I was disappointed when they were serving oily parantha and poori bhaaji.

A secured and decent place to stay at Rishikesh in Tapovan area. All the staff are very decent, courteous and helpful. Bed and bath linens provided are absolutely fine. During our recent stay Mr Harshit at reception and Ravi in room service had extended their professional service with our satisfaction.The restaurant, Pure Soul, an organic kitchen within the premise serves healthy & delicious snacks.View of surrounding hills from roof top is awesome.The only drawback I could notice is the shabbiness of approach road. Hope, the owner / other residents of the locality will work together to maintain a decent approach road.However, will recommend others to try this place.

I was very pleased with their service and attitude towards hospitality. I was late for my check in and they did ask me for my arrival. Rooms were fantastic and the mountain view really was mesmerizing. I will recommend a visit. Food was really tasty. The sattvik dal and paneer was my choice and really good.

It is one of the best hotels that I have stayed in Rishikesh. The hotel is located at a convenient location closer to Laxman Jhula in quite and serene location away from all the pollution.The rooms were spacious, comfortable and were very clean, with the view of Himalayas.The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the food was just great(we had our breakfast and dinner). They have an amazing cafe with pool view which servers quite a wide range of food and everything we had was just fantastic like pizza, pasta, sandwiches and cupcakes.I will definitely stay at this place again.Highly recommend it!

This is the last resort you would want to visit in rishikesh...service is poor..staff is not at all cooperative and if you want good food dont even look at this place...It will look nice and fine from outside but its not good at all...no room service...food in buffet is bland....in a nutshell visiting this place will be just a waste of money

Dewa Retreat as a hotel Is good but over priced as per their services and ambience. Whereas its food is really good.We tried their dal makhani and malai kofta it could not be better, the flavour was Authentic in the both the dishes.Pure Soul Cafe just beside is the best place to spend your afternoon not much crowded , a quite cozy place to WFH.

I had a very pleasant stay. You have to lower your standards a bit for Rishikesh (I have been here for about 5 weeks) in regards to cleanliness, appearance. Compared to other places, this was one of the better choices without having to paying a lot more. Staff was friendly and breakfast was AMAZING. The free yoga class was ok. If you practice yoga at all on your own, you are better doing something on your own. Could be he was subbing or there are rotating teachers. Staff graciously allowed me to check in earlier and check out later without any issue.

Excellent hotel & staff. Provide you best of whatever is possible . Excellent food. Enjoyed the stay walking distance from lakshman jhula and market but auto or 3 Wheeler wont drop u till hotel as it is on a slope and narrow by road. Wont bother u if u have a car.

Ive been visiting Rishikesh for several years now and came across Dewa Retreat on my first visit because of the delicious cafe that is owned by the hotel, Pure Soul Cafe (I highly recommend this cafe as well). I would eat there several times a week and I loved the friendly staff and the delicious food. So when I was booking my trip to Rishikesh again this year, I decided to stay at Dewa Retreat. I was not disappointed.First, the staff are extremely helpful, kind and the service is 1st class. The rooms are clean and the view is amazing (I had a mountain view room). My bed was comfortable and I had all the amenities I needed. And if I ever needed anything else the staff was extremely helpful. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was always delicious and filled with a variety of foods that anyone would enjoy. Room service was also delicious. The area is quiet but also very close to everything you need while staying in Rishikesh. I walked to almost every place I had to go unless I needed to get to Ram Jhula or the Rishikesh market, then I took my scooter for a short ride.Lastly, I wanted to mention the manager of the hotel, Ben Singh Chauhan. Ive traveled around the world and stayed in many places. Very rarely do I see and talk with the manager as much as I did at Dewa Retreat. He sat and talked with me during my stay and always checked to make sure I had everything I needed. I would see him on the grounds several times a day speaking, sitting and connecting with many of the people staying at the hotel and even the ones just eating at Pure Soul Cafe. It was easy to see that he genuinely cared about their stay and wanted to make sure they were happy. His exact quote to me was, I want people to enjoy their stay here. If they leave here and have an issue I wont know unless they write a bad review and that only helps us to fix the problem for the next person staying here. If there is an issue I want to fix it for the person while they are still with us so they are happy and enjoy their time with us. And the only way I can do that is if I talk with everyone and make sure they have everything they need before they leave. I dont see that much in my travels and I think it shows the level of treatment people receive when staying here.Because I had such a wonderful time my first week staying at Dewa Retreat that I decided to extend my stay and he was very helpful and made sure that I was able to get a very good price (the first week of my stay I had booked online with a big discount and he made sure the remaining two weeks of my stay was very comparable in price). I was grateful to him for that as he didnt have to do that.Overall I had a wonderful stay at Dewa Retreat and I highly recommend it for anyone considering staying in Rishikesh... and definitely get the mountain view room, its worth it!

This hotel is located in a serene location away from all the hustle and pollution, just a walking distance from Laxman jhula and the river Ganges.The rooms are crafted very nicely with a beautiful view of Himalayas. The bed was really comfortable. Room service was very very good, it was fast and very friendly.The healthy food menu made this place the stay just how I wanted it to be. They have a swimming pool view cafe. Everything was good from sandwiches to shakes.All in all every reason to be back here on my next trip to Rishikesh!Though they need to improve on one thing that’s there late night in room dining option.

Dewa Retreat is an exotic place, it is built on the foothills of Himalayas on a walking distance from Ganga and the famous Laxman Jhula in the Worlds Yoga Capital- Rishikesh. Hotel is equipped with all star amenities, rooms are spacious and comfortable. Their restaurant named Satvik serves sumptuous food. Hotel also has Spa services, Swimming pool, small liberary and Yoga Sessions. They also provide for various adventure tours and trekks. In morning you can get a free yoga session of one hour, making you to move on your inner journey. Overall its great time I had here and will recommend it for stay at Rishikesh !!

After an extended trip in the Himalayas, my friends and I stayed at Dewa. It is by far the nicest establishment I have seen yet in India. Hot shower, free breakfast, crisp service, and clean sheets are all things I normally take for granted. Dewa checks all the boxes and more!

This is 4 star beautiful property in Tapovan, Rishikesh. Hotel staff is very helpful and courteous and I would like to appreciate especialy Sangeeta for her politeness and make adjustment for our rooms together in the same floor. In fact rooms are very beautiful, spacious and clean. Also Breakfast buffet had variety and delicious.Few things in fact I would like highlights which needs little improvements:1. Should restrict peoples without proper costume in Swimming Pull.2. Swimming Pull should be maintained more cleaned.3. Frequent Power cut in hotel but no emergency light during power cut and Generator switch over and vice versa.4. some times there land line number not working. As I tried since morning on our arrival date .5. Better Room service during night as we had asked for RO water in Rooms but no one turned to provide that.Moreover I will rate 4 out 5 and recommend travelers to stay there.

Ideal Location just a short walk from Laxman Jhula Bridge and great service.....Me and my wife travelled to Rishikesh from Leeds, United Kingdom last month to Dewa Retreat. It was great experience involving refreshing Yoga sessions, Ayurveda Panchakarma therapies which were customised for us in consultation with the hotels Ayurvedic Doctor Dr. Parmar.Food was great and we were treated like family by the staff and the Chef personally met us asking us if we needed anything special during the meals.Thanks to Mr. Bharat the General Manager for helping us arrange the visit to Parmarth Niketan for the famous Ganga Aarti and also Laxman Jhula (just a 5 mins walk from the hotel). The location of the hotel is best suited if one wishes to relax away from the main road and also be near the main tourist areas and bridges in Rishikesh.

Pros: The services and the food was good, location was OK with Laksham Jhoola being around 2kms away. Spa was also available. Waiters were helpful.Cons: The swimming pool was not that big, and was dirty, so we wouldnt use it at all. The view from the window wasnt too good. Small balcony. No activities like TT, Chess, Carom etc.If you have a little more budget, you must check out Aloha on the ganges hotel. It has bigger, cleaner pool, more activities, and the location and view is just amazing. (ps: get garden view room)

I had several treatments in the ayurvedic Spa. It‘s a bit pricey compared to other places in Rishikesh but I can definitely recommend it! My masseuse (Pooja Sharma) was super lovely and did an amazing job. I felt super comfortable the whole time and smelled amazing afterwards 😍 She explained me about the products she used on me and gave me great advice on how to care for my skin.

The retreat is just a short walk from the Laxman Jhula Bridge and everything is walking distance from this exclusive property away from the main road.The swim at the pool was refreshing and the food is to die for. The organic vegetable soups and continental pastas were just mouth watering and well done at Sattvik - The Restaurant.This is the place to be at Rishikesh for relaxation, luxury and away from the hustle and bustle of the city center and yet easily accessible.Highly recommended by our whole group.

I stayed at the Dewa Retreat for a recent Yoga meditation & spa tour in the rishikesh hotel and the hotel and service were both fantastic! The rooms are huge! The hotel has totally been redone and everything in my room was brand new! The front desk clerk was very hospitable and I have never been so welcomed in an rishikesh India. hotel! My room service breakfast was delivered in less than 10 minutes and they even called to make sure I was happy with my meal and did not need anything else.most comfortable I have ever slept in. Location in So is good.100% of everything in the hotell! One if the worlds best!!! Love it!!!!

The hotel staff was very warm and accommodating. The resort is neat & clean and the view from pool area is simply awesome. I liked that for extra bed they just didnt put a mattress on floor but kept a proper single bed in our room, which added to the comfort factor. Improvement area- they can have more options in breakfast. All in all, highly recommended!

I had visited the place with my wife, son and grand son on 14th/15th August 2017. We had no reservation and were not aware of this hotel. While checking some one suggested this hotel and we walked in and got two rooms as per our requirement. Though the approach to hotel was not easy but the hotel itself was beyond our expectation. Swimming pool was fantastic where my grand son enjoyed for two hours. The organic restaurant near pool was excellent as sitting was on the ground and food superb. Hotel staff were extremely cordial. The location of hotel is very good.We look forward to visit the place again.

The staff was really helpful and welcoming to me and my Mother, they made sure that we dont face any trouble while we were in Rishikesh. The rooms are quite big (super deluxe) and the Bathrooms are amazing quite the once you see in the 5star Hotels. Besides the hotel provides great Breakfast with a lot of mouth watering varieties which gives you a good kick start for your day. I have lived in Taj properties before and i would say that the Hospitality these guys provide are as equal or even better than others. Overall an amazing experience. A stay at Rishikesh is incomplete without a stay at Hotel Dewa Retreat. Great property , awesome location, truly fantastic people to be around with. Every member of the staff was co operative and caring. The Managers at Dewa made sure our stay was completely stress free and fully enjoyable. They have a multi cuisine restaurant named Pure Soul and another one for India tastes.

We stayed here last weekend, everything was upto mark and as shown in the photos. I, personally, decide my stay on the legend of comfort and view, for which I would rate it 5/5 and 4/5 respectively. The service, however, was heartwarming and as expected by a first time traveller. The front desk got us deal on a scooter and directed us to the best sights and eateries. I optimally enjoyed my stay and highly recommend it to everyone, who is looking for 4star accommodation in rishikesh.

We had a wonderful time at Dewa Retreat. The people there were very professional, and courteous throughout our 6 nights stay. The location is perfect, very peaceful, walkable distance from the Lakshmann Jhula, but quiet. Great view of the mountains and the wind blowing when standing in the balcony. Great chef ! Perfect food, in fact, they made food for us to our liking - no spice or garlic or onion requests for every dish - and they made it like that.

I greatly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Dewa Retreat Rishikesh last month. The staff was so friendly and accommodating and the manager was very organized and well prepared. The rooms were very clean and I was impressed with the level of service I received. the rates were also very good, so I will be back again soon.

I stumbled upon this property when I was looking for a place to stay online what catched my eye was the fact It had such great reviews by everyone and decided to give it a try. I reached there a little early and unlike the other commercial properties the front office staff( Mr.Sudhanshu was there at the time) was so courteous that they helped me get a early check-in as well as an upgrade to the super-deluxe room ( and everyone should prefer this because of the beautiful view it has) and the check-in process was so simple and smooth. The room was spacious, neat and clean , had a balcony , beautiful and clean washroom and safe too. The food here is fantastic , do try their peshawari dal and paneer nooran then the breakfast was so good such nice pancakes and the sandwich and whole lot choices and the best thing you again have a such good staff from the waiter of the restaurant to the manager of the same. The front office doesnt stop here but they will advice you with the best of the advice to where to go and what to try and believe me they are not selling anything but just guiding you with love and affection. I had a late train to catch at around 4 and they let me stay till that time in my room and the care and the love never showed the remotest sign of flickers till the very end of my stay. And did I forgot to mention that they have nice little cute swimming pool to chill there and the refreshing rhododendron flower juice is so delicious. The location might be a little off the main road ( just not perfect , doesnt mean its bad ) but the amenities , comfort , service and the special very special mention to the Staff make it the best place to stay in rishikesh!!! Kudos to the team

Not a hotel worth staying if you want the luvaries. It will just satisfy your needs for a room night or so. It cant be called a hotel or a 4 star hotel but is not worth more than a guest house. Very improffessional staff and therstraunts are very dirty. Also very difficult to approach
