I just love this place. From delicious servings that remind one of home cooked food, to yoga classes, to the stunning views from the terrace, everything goes in favour of this lovely place to stay. In addition, it is barely a 5 min walk from Lakshman Jhula, and barely 10 min walk from the end of the town - so if you want to go for a quick walk in nature outside the town, this place will suit you.

Staying at Hermitage was a great experience. Rooms are spacious and clean. You have a open Kitchen of its own kind, giving you home like feel. Terrace is wide and open and you can have a great glimpse of nature from here.

It was awsome. Value to money. Rooms are spacious and well furnished with well trained staffs on service anytime.Room service and built in restaurant is icing on cake. One should give a try.

Highly dissappointed by their service. i had booked this hotel by looking lot of positive reviews on google maps. first the location is quite off, i booked two rooms, tv were not working in any of these( reception already told about this on booking time), secondly there was very stinky smell of moist in every part of room and washroom. washroom was very stinky. intercom was not working, geyser were not working in any of the two bathroom. towel provided were wet and patchy. in morning i had to wait for 2 and half hour for a bucket of hot water for our little kid. when i complained, they told me to co-operate as there was shortage of staff. but what about basic amenties. not hot water, no intercom.i was late by 3 hours because of their lazy atitude. my old aged parents were suffered bacause geyser were not working and location was not easily accessable

A pocket friendly place.feel was like home. Soham manager always at your service. In my room intercom was not working but he was available in mobile. I found good rates are quite at higher side.very peaceful place। Laxman jhoola at 15 minutes walk balcony gives breathing space.neat n clean specially towels were actually towels n,was not rug wiper in bathroom erased my cleaning problem.i went to explore new place finally returned to hermitage.its in my list to stay anytime.only my expectation of ganga view not covered .thanks to soham n Vivek

Was there on a holiday trip from office. This place is located near to Laxman Jhula. Rooms washrooms and every nitty-gritty things within the room is taken care for cleaniness. You will relish satvik over here. Walk away distance from Ganga ghat.If you are a peace lover and cleaniness is your cup of tea, this is the best place in Rishikesh within your budget.

Its was a very bad experience for us because there is no light all night, and the honour switched off his number. There is no backup light in their hotel.

A difference experience :) How to describe, it simply makes you feel like your own place. I would say, its not a regular hotel. Its a place to stay. Simplicity, hygiene, spacious balcony, amazing terrace and personalized services. Kudos to all staff, although they are not professionally trained but they know their work far better than any professionally trained hospitality professionals. If you are visiting Rishikesh for long stay, I would recommend this place. They have a neat and clean room and huge of ample spaces. All the basic amenities are well placed.

I stayed there in May 2015 with my friends and It was a pleasant stay there. We were a group of friends, enjoyed a lot there. The food was so delicious and the staff was very helping and coordinating. The manager was so ultimate person in all respects. I would definitely give this hotel 5 out of 5 and I will recommend it to all my friends.

It is a good hotel...but seems to be alone here...no more breathe taking views...you should prefer the one the riverside view hotel or resorts... keeping things normal this is good place clear and peaceful...and ya this is budget friendly house...

Hotel Hermitage is such a nice place to be in. Staff is so caring too. Reaching there is also easy using Google maps. All the services are excellent.

This hotel is very nicely maintained. Rooms are clean and have ample space. View from the balcony and terrace is very beautiful. I would recommend to stay there only in all my visit to rishikesh. The staff are also very nice.

One of the best homestay in rishikesh. Live music, cafe and vibe all are great here. One of the most happening place where there is always an event going on. I never felt bored at this place. My first stay in rishikesh is ubex and it will be always my first priority.

The hotel was very pleasant and comfortable like we always look for. Firstly the hotel is very easy to reach and very close to major tourist sites and is very convenient for getting around and other many activities. Secondly, my stay was very well taken care of. The premises were very clean throughout with spacious rooms and everything that I needed. The food was excellent and substantial. The staffs were organized, helpful, and knowledgeable regarding places to visit and activities to do in and around Rishikesh.Lastly, overall it was a wonderful experience as a solo traveler. I was concerned with the safety but Hermitage turned out to be amazing in terms of safety and security not only for solo travellers but also for families.If you are looking for a budget hotel at Rishikesh with every facility from food to good sleep, safety and leisure then do not miss Hermitage.PS: for professionals, it is a very calm place to think out of the box.

Clean rooms, good staff and tasty breakfast

The rooms are clean and nice. Its not too costly if booked online but it doesnt have any good balcony view and it is not next to main road, so it has calm environment without much disturbance.

Rooms are spacious and clean but have to put extra effort to find this hotel. Also having small roof gop dining arrangement but scenery is not pleasent as other buildings near this hotel are tall.

Did some look around and I found this hotel for my trip to Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. Excellent room service, excellent staff , well appointed rooms ,the food was good. Overall it was a fantastic place to stay. I would highly recommend this to anyone going to Rishikesh. Staff there were friendly, I loved there veg pakoras with chai, they even entertained my request for complimentary breakfast past there designated time. Though Hotel needs to put some effort in keeping there rooms and premises clean, it reeked of alcohol and we can smell it as soon as we entered the premises. It was relatively cheaper then other Oyo hotels in Rishikesh.

A neat and comfy place in a quiet location of Tapovan, with green views and many yoga classes around. They serve a good masala chai. The room with a balcony is a very good option for a relaxing time after your busy day. Lakshman Jhula us only 15-20 min away - good for a morning walk. The staff is friendly and efficient. I also recommend a coffee stalk of Nepali guys a little further on the street, opposite the Seven heavens or something like that. Coffee is better than my own! As for the Hermitage, I also liked the price. In Delhi you can only rent a dogs kennel for this money!!!
