Outstanding hosts, friendly atmosphere, good tea. Nice music evenings, philosophy dialogues. Its a good joint. The electricity played a major havoc during our visit and it was hot !

Very friendly hosts and loved my stay with so many in-house activities organized by them. The rooms are super clean and fully worth the price. Enjoyed doing sound meditation organized by them and the lovely even music sessions by Devi and Raj.Centrally located and if you are into music then definitely the place to be with their own music room open at all times for residents.

Well managed stay place with music, library and stay facility

An interesting stay option. Might not be approptiate for all. I think owners themselves do not want all kinds to stay with them. However the ones who seek quiet yet not far from Laxman Jhula could consider simple. large and well lit rooms here.

This is really a very beautiful place to stay in Rishikesh the rooms are very big, and clean with all facilities, ventilation is excellent.They also provide morning breakfast thats very delicious.And a big music hall and a Library. All this on reasonable rates.Dont forget to book your room at Devis music Ashram.

We missed the review deadline on Airbnb but in no way could we miss out on mentioning our perfect stay here! So here goes -We checked-in early morning (thanks to their flexible check-in policy) and were given a clean, spacious and calming room with all the necessities for a stay in the cold weather - warm water and mountain of blankets! The ashram has a devoted library, music room and a perfect little terrace with a swing (the view from the terrace is great). Its closeness to most of the tourist places, yet the distance from the hustle bustle was a major plus point.We would like to thank everyone, especially Raj, for making us feel like were a part of the family there. The breakfast that reminded of home and the serene sitar playing in the background is an experience we cant forget. More than just a stay, this place is an experience you will look back to; we sure do :)Pro tip: Walk upwards (towards the left) after walking out of the path of the ashram and find some really good cafes and a cute little German bakery with yum coconut cookies!

A unique place in its overall ambience. The very concept is based on intellectual and artistic contribution, participation , and synergy. There is no commercial pursuit and the expenses incurred are nominal. The owners are exceptionally pleasant and highly talented. The versatility of Mr Raj is awe inspiring. The approach lane to DMA is a bit of a challenge but once you are in, you know the place is worth being embraced by.

Very nice calm and peaceful place. A lot of creative people stand in.I rent dormetory bed. And it was really nice and comfortable.Also you can take music and dancing lessons there. For free you can watching music concerts, taking yoga class.There is a nice view on roof and nice library.Owners of ashram are very friendly, you can have a lot of nice talks with them.

I really loved this place. I stayed for 7 weeks and could have happily stayed much longer

It is family hotel and its just amazing place. You can feel like at home right away. They can provide not only travel info but as well music (singing & instrument) classes. At the evening you can chill out with music festival.

We stayed at their new white building and had a wonderful experience - the rooms are new, spacious, clean looking and have large windows. Most importantly - theres only one room per floor, so that minimizes the chance for noise. The family that runs the place is very nice and welcoming.The place is located on the sunny side of Tapovan, which is a big plus if you visit during the colder season.Theres hot water for a quick shower and the bathroom is pleasant.Cons: the place is very close to a local wedding hall, so during wedding season theres very loud music till about midnight. Also at the time of our staying there was no wifi at the building.

I went for a music circle, great atmosphere, very welcoming and the work with the instruments amazing.

I went for a Cacao Meditation Ceremony followed by dance. It was led by a German expat. It was an unforgettable experience!

I attended the Devi Music Ashram weekly during my yoga teacher training at AYM. The Sound Healing sessions on a Sunday nights were my favourite. But I also enjoyed going to some of the classical music nights. So much talent to be enjoyed! Be sure to stop by Devi if you spend sometime in Rishikesh. 🙏

One of the most amazing places that I have ever been to. You feel like family and there are special musical performances twice a week.

We booked this place after reading all the reviews. But when we reached there was highly disappointing. The location is so bad, so dirty such a horrible unhygenic place. Smelling so bad. No at all recommened all good reviews are fake.

The place is very pleasant. We stayed at the white annex, the room was clean, spacious, minimalistic and private. Didnt have wifi at the time, but can go to lobby for it if needed.Devi, Neeti and Raj were very attentive and reactive.The concerts they hold are beautiful and very recommended.

I love devi music ashram the people here so lovely and like family member. And every one is talented in the music. They provide Accomodation like your home and they do concerts of music. In the evening 2 days a week. And so many activities they do. You guys loved it ..😊

Joint a meditative dance (every monday and thursday 6.30-8 pm and it was amazing.

It was great view and it was great feeling to see flowing river and sunset at a time,and this beauty supported by near greenary nature and monk.This kinds of thing create positive vibe,You should part of ganga aarti too if you are planning to go rishikesh.
