I had the most wonderful time at yoga India foundation. thank you so much to the entire team for making me feel so welcome and happy I really appreciate that your hospitality and kindness and your 24/7 availability. it was beyond my expectation that the food was always cooked freshly with a lot of love and deliciously prepared. I have completed my yoga teacher training in India 1 months ago and still fear the positive effects of the training. The teacher staff and entire team made me feel so welcome and where I taken care of.i will be forever grateful to have studied at this amazing school the location is simply amazing you are directly located at the national park and can see the Ganges river from across the side. there is also a little spa at the school so you can use your free time to take ayurvedic massages and feel even more relaxed.the yoga teacher training in India was really challenging because there were many hours of yoga everyday however it was well structured. overall I can recommend the school from the bottom of my heart and feel very happy that I chose the school. in life its not always easy but I learnt many techniques to stay grounded and overcome issues by my own . I am excited to be teaching yoga now and sharing my new knowledge with my students back in Germany I hope to come to yoga India foundation again for my advanced 300 hour yoga teacher training in India mayaby I will find the time next year and can return a big thank you to Vipin Vipul Anrud Lakshmi for sharing your knowledge and sharing your secrets love and peace

Yoga India Foundation gave me what I was looking for...peace, inner space and compassion. Having joined a 200 hour yoga teacher training in India at this place was probably one of the best choices I ever made. From teachers to staff to food to activity to massage to schedule...all is very well through off and perfect. I appreciated the kindness and hospitality a lot and will recommend the school to my friends and students.

This is a good yoga school. The ashram and the facilities are quite clean and comfortable, there is a warmth coming from all of the teachers as well as the cooking and cleaning staff, and the food is amazing! I would have liked for more appropriate anatomy training as I felt that our anatomy course was not relevant to our training, particularly with respect to the asanas. I also think there needs to be more communication between the yoga teachers and the management staff. Overall, I had a good experience here and would recommend this school to others

If you are looking to study yoga in India, I can recommend Yoga India Foundation from my deepest soul. Traveling to India and learning the traditional yogic science, asana and Ayurveda left me with much clarity and joy. I did my 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training at Yoga India Foundation Ashram in Rishikesh which was the best thing Ive done in my life so far. The teachers are simply amazing, so passionate, kind and respectful. I ate delicious vegan food which gave me energy for the classes. The ashram is located outside the busy area next to the nature reserve and river, its so beautiful. I couldnt have asked for more so I wish to say a big thank you to the wonderful school and of course my fellow class mates! There was not a single thing that I didnt like, everyone took such good care of us while we were still challenged and pushed to our limits! I feel so excited and ready to teach now :)

My experience was amazing. Bipin, Anki and all the team are kind people that love Yoga. they open your mind to Yoga. yoga is more than exercise and now I have the knowledge that I want to do with this new knowledge. you should have open mind to learn. the only thing that I didnt like was that some students were really negative persons and disturbed our teaching training. so please.... OPEN MIND. Yoga is not what many people practice in the gym. Yoga is a philosophy of life. And Yoga India Foundation teaches it. 😍🙏

Beyond any expectations!I dont know where to begin. This place is incredible, the teaching is second to none, they manage to balance serious learning with having a lot of fun too. The accommodation is great, clean, friendly staff, wifi and is located around the corner from the school and close to the main markets. The food is incredible - every single meal, every single day. The excursions are super fun and give you a chance to experience some of what Rishikesh has to offer whilst doing the course. This is an experience I will never forget, thank you Yoga India Foundation!

Oh how much I loved my time here...I miss all my class mates, teachers, friends already!I did the 200 hour yoga teacher training in May 18 in Rishikesh.Any problem I had any doubt or confusion, the teachers were always there for me. I felt very motivated and challenged. One time I was sick and they did everything to make me feel better. They gave me Ayurvedic medicine, made special food for me and after only 24 hours I was good and fit gain! It’s hard to find the right place to do such an intense training, but if you go for this school, you can’t do anything wrong for sure! The place is amazing! The course content exceeded my expectations and I went home with much more than I could have thought.Traveling to India for the first time can be scary, but I felt always safe and in good hands. Thanks to the entire yoga india foundation team for making my 200 Hour yoga teacher training so unique and transformational!I cannot wait to return :-)

Having done the third Yoga Teacher Training in general, I have to say that Yoga India Foundation has had the biggest impact on me. The 500 hour yoga teacher training is very challenging. You start with the 200 hours and then progress with the 300 hours. If you are not in a good physical condition, it might be exhausting. I am a German who is familiar with traveling to India alone, if you are scared, dont worry! Everything is well-organised from the airport-pick up to the drop-off. The e-mail conversation previous to the course is also top! I loved the energy, people, teachers and food. On the first day, we sat in a circle and introduced ourselves, shared our names, origin and purpose of visit. On the last day of the course, we did it again and shared our learning outcomes, experience, changes… it made me cry and feel very grateful (I am not an emotional person usually). Somehow many things opened up and I released a lot of ager.As Bipin always says: be positive, enjoy this life & dont get caught up with the downs in life, its all part of the journey and makes you grow even more!

Yoga India Foundation is a wonderful yoga school that helped me to open my heart, mind and entire being. I will forever be grateful for the amazing teachers who guided me through ups, downs, past present moments. I learn about the ethics of becoming a yoga teacher and gained a huge understanding, not only about yoga, but also about myself, life and relationship. the group energy was like a family, we became close friends and shared our special insights and growth. Thanks for making my 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in India so memorable and unique, I cant wait to travel back to India one day.If you are looking for the right yoga school, I can recommend this place from my heart. I am an office worker, who (due to sitting a lot) came with the intention to connect to myself and remove my back pain. I stumbled upon Yoga India Foundation through a German Blog so I chose this school.A few more details about the accommodation, location and food:I liked the fact that the school is located in a not so busy part of Rishikesh. The local market is only 10 minutes away by rickshaw and we got the opportunities (every Sunday) to explore the surrounding like waterfalls, caves, temples and mountain paths. It really made us bond with each other and enjoy the amazing nature and jungles around. The food is so tasty, all the time. We received three meals per day, vegan and vegetarian according to our preference. There is always lots of fruits, vegetables and side dishes and some chutneys and salad as well.My room was cosy, with a balcony and amazing view to the river.Comparing this location with other places in Rishikesh, its one of the newest and highest standard types of accommodation with clean sheets, towels and blankets. The yoga hall is so big and has much glass so that you can have a fantastic view.I hope that my review can help some yogis to get a better idea of the Yoga India Foundation and make the right choice, like me :-)NAMASTÉ

I feel so refreshed, renewed & at peace. The Emotional Blockage Treatment is a true highlight that removes so much unnecessary thought & pain. I enjoyed the Ayurveda classes a lot, thanks to Dr. Vipul Arya for introducing all the incredible knowledge about pitta, vata, kapha, herbs and medicine. The teachers were incredibly supportive and knowledgeable during this journey and I learned more from them than I could express or even grasp at this moment.I would highly recommend this teacher training to anyone interested in deepening their yoga and meditation practice or want to learn how to teach others. The location of the school is perfect, near the Ganga river and surrounded by nice little cafes, mountains and shops where you can buy everything you might need for your stay. I had a spacious room with balcony from which I could not only see the river, but also the most stunning sunsets.I will forever be grateful to Vipin who opened my eyes in his magical meditations to other levels of consciousness and perceptions and will always be an inspiration as a teacher. I am sure I will come back soon to this very special place!

What a magical journey towards self-discovery and healing!I came to Yoga India Foundation because of their great 200 hour yoga teacher training content and amazing teachers. If you are looking for the matching yoga school, I can only recommend Yoga India Foundation! I have been to the big yoga schools in Rishikesh and Goa where they have more than 50 students in one class! That was not nice. At Yoga India Foundation we had a cosy group of 10 students. That was the perfect number to receive good attention in class and improve my asana practise. The teachers became like friends to us which was great because they inspired us so much. They always aimed to make us learn well. I didnt have one question unanswered. i learnt a lot about the right adjustments of poses, benefits, cautions and modifications. what i enjoyed a lot also was that we received ayurvedic consulations and classes about Nutrition and healthy diets. we even learnt to cook Indian yogic meals, chai and deserts. The whole Team was so warm-hearted and generous. In the Weekend we went Rafting, trekking and explored some of the Caves around rishikesh. Overall, the 200 hours yoga teacher Training at Yoga India Foundation has been a big life and mind shift for me. thanks to everyone who made it so lovely.

I completed my 200 hours yoga teacher Training at Yoga India Foundation which left a big impact on me. To begin with, the ahsram is very beautifuly built and renovated. The first overall Impression is great! On a deeper level, once you get to know the teachers, staff and class mates, you begin to understand about universal love and consciousness. I absolutely adored the learning and living atmosphere at Yoga India Foundation. Everyone became part of a big yoga family. The 200 hours course content and schedule is great, it is challenging but you still have some time to self-study and relax. We did some fun weekend excursions to the waterfalls, caves and markets. The ashram is located in Rishikesh sourrounded by a fascinating mountain scenery. My heart opened up a lot during my Training. the emotional blockage Treatment was very unique, eye-opening and healing for me. I really came out of the Training as a new person. I have a few friends who completed also their 200 hours in Rishikesh but they werent so happy about their Schools. Most Schools are very big and have many students lined up next to each other, so I felt especially lucky that we were only a small group of people. I felt important and heard. I received much Attention from the teachers and so could grow enormously in my practise. Also to mention is that the food is highly nutritious and always freshly prepared. The cooks were so sweet and made very pecial dishes. I ate so much and still managed to lose weight! To sum it up, Yoga India Foundation has left me speechless and exceeded my expectations. What I learnt and gained through this 200 hour yoga teacher training is worth much more than the price I paid. Thanks to each one of you guys for making my adventure in India soo memorable and unqiue! Keep on spreading the love, you are doing an amazing job!

I did a 200h YTT in Rishikesh in October 2017Even if I had an amazing time and learn a lot during my training with Gyan Yog Breath (or Yoga India Foundation, both names were used by the organizers), Im not sure I would recommend this school.First of all we started the month with 18 students in the asana class, while we were supposed to be a maximum of 16 people, and the rooms where we were supposed to practice were still being built during the first few days, but this wasnt a real problem and most of us really accommodated to it without problem. On one hand the asana, anatomy, pranayama and meditation classes were great, even if I was expecting more from the Ashtanga part of the asana training as well as more teaching practice. On the other hand the philosophy classes were very disappointed. I had read the yoga sutras before the training so I didnt learn much more from studying them, even though it was interesting to see a different interpretation. Also the program was too chaotic to be really interesting. We started with studying the beginning of the first chapter of the Yoga sutras, then stop suddenly to learn a bit about Ayurveda, but we didnt learn enough about it so I only keep some confused ideas about this discipline... After this we came back to the Yoga sutras to study the 8 limbs, but we only learned about 4 or 5 of them (by chance I already knew about the others!) before our teacher was replaced by another one who taught us some philosophy from the Bhagavad Gita which was interesting. We also had a lecture about how to adapt Yoga to western lifestyle, but the teacher admitted himself that he hadnt been to the West before, and the course seemed to me as a collection of cliches about Eastern and Western world. The worst part of it was a discussion about homosexuality where the teacher tried to make us understand why homosexuality is a sickness... Most of the students left the class very offended and angry during the class. At the end I left the training very disappointed about the philosophy teachings which could have been much better...Also the Emotional Blockage Treatment classes (which I was really excited about) were not so nice. We were given some very basic and incomplete lecture notes containing several mistakes we had to correct and learned about which points to press, but not much was told about how to do a proper treatment session and really be helpful with potential patients. So at the end this training was very enjoyable and enriching but could have been much better if the organization, the coordination of the teachers and most importantly the communication with the students had been better.

I don’t know where to start, but to summarise in one word I can only say: love! So much love. Im doing the 200 hour teacher training. It feels like a family I know since a long long time. This last two weeks are just amazing, and luckily there are two more weeks ahead of us. We’re learning so much. Not only about yoga and philosophy but also about ourself’s. Emotionally it feels like a rollercoaster, with a lot of ups and downs. It is intense, but in a good way. Don’t let it hold you back! The schedule is quite busy, but there is also enough time and space for some moments for relaxing in the sun. Next week we will start practice teaching yoga, I’m so excited! The team of Gyan Yog Breath is amazing. Vipin and Anki are lovely, they take care of all of us in a really touching and personal way!

But next time we should fall “better”.I wish you all the best and hope to come back someday.Maybe for my 300th yoga training, well see!
