It is one of the most famous rafting destination in Rishikesh. Rafting in Rishikesh is very famous and attracts adventure lovers from all over the world. River Ganga which flows down from Gangotri to Rishikesh is full of rapids and full of adventures.

We went for river rafting in Rishikesh few years back and it was indeed an adventurous trip. We choose the longest distance for rafting and encountered many water rapids in between which doubled our fun. However, I would say the charges were prity high but at the same time we got a very experienced guide who nicely managed us. All in all it was fantastic and I would recommend this to everyone visiting Rishikesh.

There are different agencies through which you can book your package or individually make the booking. You can either book online or can directly go to the dealers office there. Yes, do make sure that you are prepared before hand because it takes a lot of time to reach the rafting point. Patience is mandatory.

The water was icy cold but when you have the adrenaline rush No one can stop you :-)The showstopper was the cliff jump - you are never sure whether you would land on land or in water. I loved the experience. You can book your raft by agents or just by going to the offices. We booked from a agent whom we found on road we paid only 250rs per person for 12km long rafting. It took us 3 or more hours to cover the whole distance and it was all worth it. We also booked head camera to record video which cost us 500rs extra. But it was all worth it. The cold water of the river is so refreshing that it will make anyone hyperactive and it will just rush the adrenalin. I totally recommend everyone to atleast try once to go to river rafting once 8f you are around haridwar or rishikesh. Note:- dont get fooled by agents or other people. They will ask for 1000rs per person ride but you can bargain it down to 300-400. Paying more than 400 would hurt a little when youll find out that people are paying only 250-300rs for same ride.

Awesome experience. Our guide was good, as he explained all the instructions well, and explained the spots that we saw along the stretch. And moreover, he let us jump to the Ganges :-D. The experience remains etched in my memory. Must try. Several packages are there, and the rates depend on the distance, I chose the 400rs-18km package, which I recommend for all, who are doing this for the first time, as u can enjoy multiple rapids, which is the fun part. Its completely safe if u listen to the instructions from the guide correctly.

Many hindu peoples come here to worship river ganga as from here you can ho to nilkanth temple. Many tourist also come here for adventurous white water river rafting. I went there 3-4 times, but my enthusiasm for this place never ends. Its a oerfecr place for yoga lovers as this place have lots of yoga institutes. Rishikesh is also famous among the foreign tourists. Beatles ashram is also there.

What an experience!!! The green water of Ganga makes you go crazy, flowing via huge mountains ⛰ . We opted for 18 kms rafting which was charged 400 per head and 12 kms was for 350. Go for 18 kms if you want to have more fun. In total , 10 rapids were encountered, However the flow of water was not much. The guide was fully trained and knowledgeable. He asked us to jump in rapids holding boat ropes, a must experience. We started at 4:20 and it ended at 6:30, awesome experience, go for it 🙌🏻

It is really an awesome experience to enjoy white water river rafting. We took a rafting of 18 kilometers. The guide instructed us regarding the dos and donts. The moment we passed through the turbulent water is so fantastic. Our guide also made us to swim in water with life jacket during the course of the journey. Halfway, we stopped for eating snacks and jumped from the high cliff. After two hours of journey we finished our rafting at Rishikesh.

The most turbulent stretch is known as The Golf course. Though exhilirating, one must take precautions while going for Rafting.

For me, Rishikesh is the place that if someone tells me that Rishikesh is to be walked, then I will say yes right away because this place is very close to my heart. Because by going here we forget the thing. We just remember what is happening at that time. This place is really great. You will never feel like coming here that you are not here, you can roam from place to place. There are temples here. I have a religious place that welcomes all religions, here people come from outside, it is very good.
