A wonderful place in the middle of nature, but still ideal location near from everything.I came here first doing some drop in classes in Hatha Yoga with Krishna Ji, this and the talk with Rui Ji the manager decided me to do the 200 hours TTC. She is an amazing teacher, very knowledgeable and with excellent psychology. Hard enough to push you over your limits but also sweet and with much humour. She was here to teach and help us much in Hatha yoga, Ashtanga vinyasa yoga, mantra, satkarma and pranayama. Rui Ji the manager is here for almost everything, always wanting to help where he can. Now the course also included adjustments with multi style yoga, Indian philosophy, anatomy, meditation, teaching methodology, ayurveda and all respective teachers are great and very happy to share, so much that they sometimes forget that the hour is over :) The global approach in this place, from the owners, the teachers and of the management is sharing and not just business, this you can strongly feel here. This goes also to the food witch is very healthy and generous, the pyramid restaurant being very well known here in Rishikesh. Strongly recommended !

Krishna and Ravi are great teachers. I have trained under their guidance for my 200 hrs YTT. Krishna is a great teacher. She has in depth knowledge, exceptional teaching skill, and very strong. Under her teaching my practice has significant improvement. Their adjustments helped me to reach the impossible. They are also very kind and caring teacher. Five star is underrated.

Such an amazing place with incredible people.Krishna and Ravi were so caring and really supportive. Me and my partner took Krishnas classes every morning for a couple of weeks and it was definitely life changing. Krishna has such an incredible authentic way of teaching, and the way she payed attention to detail truly changed my practice. She lets you find the space to go go beyond yourself mentally and physically and grow as a human and a yogi.Absolutely recommend the place for any yogi looking for an authentic experience. Also it needs to be mentioned that their food was great too. Im 100% plant based and I had some of the best dishes in my life at the Pyramid.Really miss the place and hope to be back one day in the near future! 🙏

The best one month of my life was spent here. I came here to get healed and I surely did . At first I was nervous of venturing into a place which i have only seen on my screen but I was amazed by the hospitality and kind gesture of the people there. Always helpful and always ready to share their knowledge. Teachers at pyramid Yogashala are by far the most professional ones I have come across. They really give time to each and every individual and are ever ready to support in any way possible. The family who owns this institution made me feel so much at home. The outdoor activities , especially yoga by the ganges was my favorite. I have learnt so much in these 28 days and I am so glad I have these 28 days to myself here . All the best and way to go guys , keep up the good work !

I completed the 200 hour YTT at Pyramids Yogshala in November and it was wonderful. All of the teachers were good. I especially enjoyed the classes given by Dhiru(philosophy), Pratap(Ashtanga), and Sandeep(Hatha).Rui, the YTT manager was amazing. He was very involved and always checking in on us to get feedback and find out how things were going to keep us taken care of. He became a dear friend to us all.Located a bit up the mountain and in nature, the Pyramids school is in the perfect location. A 5 min walk to the Main Street with all of the shops and cafes, but also ideally removed from all of the noise and activity of the main street. All of the staff were incredible and became family.I highly recommend this school and look forward to visiting whenever I am in Rishikesh.Namaste

Pyramid Yogshala. Wow what a crazy month this was.. honestly life changing and i can easily say one of the best moments of my life so far. I will break it down for you, so you understand what exactly you are getting yourself into, because honestly I didnt have a clue. This is 100% honest review, I loved every moment, and would probably relive these moments in a heart beat.- accommodation - the accommodation is nice, my partner came with me (with absolutely no experience in yoga, for moral support, i had never travelled by myself outside of Europe, luckily he was very flexible and is strong and embraced every moment) we shared a double room with moutain veiws, the river ganga & rishikesh! we where extreamly lucky with our accommodation, it was a little walk nestled in between local life. what was a good wake up at 6am! A shower with hot water and a balcony with a lots of monkeys! I know a few of our class mates had problems with their accommodation, from being in a tiny room & no windows, to not having one hot shower that month, to having everything they own turn into a moss infested pit. (they have recently had new accommodation made on site, i dont think they realised this would of been the outcome. They are all honestly good people and its just a shame really) please note; what you pay for you get! we are in india? be realistic (:- food - I am going straight into food, because well thats extreamly important to me. breakfast was a lot of porrage, with a little side of fruit (we was in monsoon season, so maybe thats why we wasnt given that much fruit, but i am a fruit fairy&& I can always eat more) toast and sometimes noodles. to be honest plain porrage is a bit boring especially after 28 days.. aha but the good news is rishikesh is full of health stores, with all the nuts, dried fruits & penut butter you can ask for, so i would invest in that and make your breakfast yummmy!!Lunch & Dinner. There was rice, curry or soup, veggie dish, salad and Chapati. ( lentils was pretty much included in every meal )I would like to say that the chefs at pyramid who where amazingg, they always made such tasty food ( its not easy to cook for 30 people, who arent used to the cuisine) Honestly so greatful, every meal was full of love. The last meal we had was the best meal by far, i would honestly fly back over today to eat that all again!- the schooling - Okay now the important part. we was really lucky to have such a strong inspirational woman teaching us, Krishna! such a blessing to be taught by someone who had so much love in her heart. Very disaplined yet always full of laughter. These classes are not for the light hearted, let me prewarn you, its an intense yoga course not a retreat!sadly we had quite a lot of trouble with our second practical teacher, he was a great guy, very knowledgeable in his field , but sadly he was misunderstood, the language barrier was hard, they changed him for another teacher, who was good. Just felt so terrible him having to loose his job.we had many amazing lectures, Meditation being the best. I loved our guru. he had this pure energy about him, so contagious. at the end of a long day meditation made you feel so full. The course is intense you are up at 5, I think classed finish at 7 or 8, everyday. so much to study. because of this physiology & mantra kinda mushed into one, ( we had a brilliant teacher but we had to focus to understand ) I think it would of been best to keep the same guy, but to split the lessons apart. because 2 hours in the middle of the day in the heat, so tried, trying to concentrate was difficult and i think the lessons would had been much more enjoyable apart.please note, students would benefit from more adjustment classes, along with teaching methology clases. also to be able to teach more than one lesson and teach along the whole of the course would make for more confidence in teaching.i would love to thank everyone who made my this journey so beautiful. especially Kristina, the mediation guru & Ravi!Send love to you all in India, Mae

I completed my 200 hr ashtanga/hatha teacher training course here in October 2019. It was fantastic! Everyone at pyramid was welcoming and helpful, we had a great group of teachers and also fellow students. The area of Rishikesh is super beautiful and not so busy, a lot of nature around and the stunning river Ganga! The food was great, we felt very looked after the whole time and learned tons. Of course you are going to india so dont come with expectations of a 5 star hotel, but everything was clean, food was healthy, respectful atomosphere and good vibes.I highly reccomend this place if youre looking for a teacher training :) I really had an amazing month! Thank you guys 🙏🙏🙏☀️

Krishna and Ravi are the best ashtanga teachers Ive ever had. It was a pleasure to learn from them. They are very supportative and professional teachers with highly deep knowledge of yoga. Classes with Krishna and Ravi helped me to go beyond mind limitation in my practice. I love Krishnas attitude to practice...she creates an amazing atmosphere that combine discipline and improvement of your own spirituality at the same time. Ravi is a great motivator and moreover he is very helpful in case of any injury you have, hes able to release any pain you have. I highly recommend Pyramid Yogshala School!!!

Krishna Panwar was a great Ashtanga vinyasa teacher. She was very knowledgeable and patient while assisting me into correct alignment in order to receive the greatest benefits from my own yoga practice as well as passing on this knowledge to my future students. I would definitely recommend her classes, thanks very much.

Krishna and Ravis presence is such a pleasure. They share yoga from a very authentic space within themselves, you will find that they have a wealth of knowledge on the traditional practices of yoga and also are very experienced practicioners. They share from a place of love and commitment that is so inspiring. I was fortunate to spend 4 weeks in Ashtanga classes with Krishna and it was AMAZING, she made it clear to us how infinite the path of yoga really is, she pushed us to the limits of our body and mind and gave us the tools we needed to expand. I am forever grateful. Krishna will kick your butt with her incredibly motivating energy that will have you sore and begging for more, be prepared to share lots of love and laughs while she helps you be the best version of yourself.
