A very calm and relaxing restaurant with a good basic bar. The food is amazing and very close to Authentic Indian cuisine, with more emphasis on traditional south Indian style of food. However it does take some time for the food to be ready, but definitely worth the wait. The service of the staff is excellent (as of review date). I would highly recommend the restaurant if your in the mood for some tasty and authentic delicious Indian Food.

Food was disgusting because no taste, super cold , chicken Tikka masala has no taste 3 piece of chicken only in the Curry. Carrot Halwa has some different smell. Be honest first and last experience. Thank you for your service.

Inexpensive, tasty, cheap Indian eats. There are not that many Indian places that serve dosas - this might be the only one in Latvia. Will be returning here for sure!

Excellent restaurant with south indian delicacies, authentic and impressive, we have search to locate this place as there no signage anywhere towards the road, prices are quite reasonable, there is free WiFi, Mr.Sreenath , the guy who served us is very knowledgeable and aware of all specialities, not to be missed.

After traveling over 30 countries I can say that this place has the best taste to price ratio. I tried the biriyani, dosa, idli and lassi. All of them were great! Given that they are just 2 months old, they are really good. Do try them out!

During business hours it took more than 20 mints to deliver fixed daily meal which was initially sent non veg instead of veg, Later Chef changed the main course without informing, once reconfirmed is it the same order what is printed then it was informed No we changed the order, If you want I can give this now after 40 minutes. Not at felt welcomed. It was first experience and definitely it is last experience there.

Great food at reasonable prices, served with a smile.The restaurant is a bit hidden, so dont be shy to ask around where the exact location is.We tried their masala dosa, coffee, vada and parotta. The food is cooked fresh (even the vadas!) And is full of flavours. They dont have coconut chutney, but make a mean carrot chutney instead, which was delicious.Definitely recommend a visit to Banana Leaf.

The service wasnt only good, it was pristine. The atmosphere was marvelous, it took me back to the olden days of my hometown in West Virginia, its honestly just immaculate in every way.. And the food.. oh the food. The rice, exquisite, the meat, impeccable, the sauces, scrupulous, the bread, meticulous... I cant express how punctilious you have to be as a chef to create a menu of such resemblance to my home town.. the smells brought me straight back to the place where I belong, its almost heaven...

Instant Korma? Yes and no.Food was good, but we and other guests got hangry by the time it arrived (15min wait till order, 45min to wait for food). Waiter was struggling with orders, serving drinks and delivering food. He might have been a substitute for someone, who could have been even worse.Good thing that waiter was taking everything with the smile and eventually delivering our order or something close to it.

Its was ok, tasty food good service although waited 45 minutes for the food when no one else was eating. So on that note it was probably cooked fresh. Only one downer was 3 small pieces of chicken, then I found an even smaller piece under the sauce. Overall very good, rice, chicken masala, hot bread and a beer for €12 👍

Very time consuming staff if you want to eat then you have to free for atleast 3-4 hours because in gathering they will easily take a 1 hour to just prepare a little things

Really friendly. Their spin on Indian bread is refreshing and tasty. Vegetable korma was a bit disappointing, runny and more like soup. Daal was too greasy, as was the lamb. Not the healthiest choice. Mango drink was excellent, not too sweet but creamy.

It’s good south india restaurant in Riga

Visited when they were quite new, nasty experience. Environment very plain, food ranging from tasteless to bad, staff discussing with each other very loudly. Several things missing from the menu, all tables around us heard the we have just ran out of... line. The rice somehow was quite good. Hope it all was due to the fact that they had just opened and they will improve, but I dont think I will risk another visit to find out.

Was visiting the city for 3 days and ended up eating lunch here everyday despite it being a 45min walk from my hotel. Some nice South Indian food, I liked the masala dosa, wada and uttappam, plus they make a good rasam and the thali I had was quite nice also. There was no Cobra though, or any Indian beer available which I found odd, only Latvian beer. If Im in Riga again on the future this would be the first place Id visit when I became hungry for some Indian food.

Excellent and economical Indian food in a pleasant atmosphere. Had a dosa (large crepe stuffed with very tasty mashed potatoes served with two dipping sauces), very good paratha bread, and curried chick peas (Chana masala). Surprisingly good bottle of Romanian Merlot was only 12 euro.
