Buddhist monastery located at the top of hill with a huge statue of buddha and from that location you can capture the great view of rewalsar lake and this is a peaceful place for the tourist and full of buddhist culture. Every part of this monaestry is dedicated to lord buddha.Tso Pema, also known as Rewalsar, is a sacred lake located in the Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh, India. The site is revered by Sikhs, Hindus and Buddhists alike, the latter of whom regard the lake as the place from whichย Padmasambhavaย embarked on his journey to Tibet. Buddhist tradition holds that Padmasambhava was burned at Rewalsar as punishment by the king, who was angered that Padmasambhava took his daughter,ย Mandarava, as a consort. When the pyre was extinguished, a lake appeared in its place with Padmasambhava seated in the middle on a lotus blossom. At present there are Nyingma and Drukpa Kagyu monasteries at the site.
Amazing place and beautiful Buddhist temple. Also the Buddhist monks and people living there are so nice, you can actually have a pleasant conversation with them.
Nice Place to explore with friends and family. It is believed to be blessings to take the round around the Lake. There are few monasteries and temples to visit nearby the lake. And also Guru Rinpoche Statue is 20 minutes walkable distance from the lake.There are so many monkeys near the lake and they are very dangerous. It is advised not to feed them and also beware to hide eatables from them. Monkeys can snatch anything from your hand!
I visited first time in a monastery. It has peaceful vibrations. Beautiful designs, wonderful architecture, awesome views all around. Peace and peace everywhere.

Spiritual place peace.
This is one of the most beautiful buddhist temples I have seen. It is dedicated to guru Rinpoche or padmasambhava. It s 3 storeys and has a spiral staircase to climb the upper storeys . Lots of monkeys around as well. Each storey has a shrine dedicated to a Buddha.

This is Nyingma monastery of Palyul Choling Buddist was built same like Namdroling monastery in South India. I call this is small Namdroling. There are one stupa of Penor Rinpoche next to the Buddha Statue also inside have holy body of very famous Rinpoche. This is very nice temple, khenpo and every monks here very kind. There are just a few monk here because this is acting like a retreat center. The dog also very nice, she is old but very nice. But be careful of monkey. They are not nice much. They will attack so should go in car. If you walk you will need some rock in your hand to scare them - a naughty monkey.
