Jai maa naina devi ji.... Holy religious temple established by Emperor of Mandi riyasat.... A priest named Dohu was employed by king for pooja and all at that time.... Now all his great grand children are doing the same till now.... A langar is organised on daily basis by managing commitee.... All the expenses are on devotees willingly..... May maa bless us all.

The temple is situated on a hilltop near rewalsar at a distance of about 7 km from the main road. The temple sees lots of tourists everyday. The campus is clean and langar (free food) is provided to everyone. One disturbing thing is the disposal of waste done by the temple committee. They dispose the garbage just behind the langar area and it has accumulated there now. To suppress the smell , they throw phenyl on it which is then consumed by birds and animals in the forest area. I urge everyone to please dispose their garbage properly and also ask people around you to do the same.

This temple is not that known. The location is awesome. People are so friendly and helpful. They can add few benches at the view point s. Also, there is no decent eatery. But the place is lovely.

Jai Mata Di.Shri Naina Devi Temple is located on an altitude of 1177 meters in Distt. Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh. Several mythological stories are associated with the establishment of the temple. According to a legend, Goddess Sati burnt herself alive in Yagna, which distressed Lord Shiva. He picked the corpse of Sati on her shoulder and started his Taandav dance. This horrified all deities in the heaven as this could lead to holocaust. This urged Lord Vishnu to unleash his Chakra that cut the Sati’s body into 51 pieces. Shri Naina Devi Temple is the place where eyes of Sati fell down.

The temple is connected with National Highway No. 21(Chandigarh - Manali Highway). The temple at the top of the hill can be reached via road and then by concrete steps. There is also a roap ways facility that moves pilgrims from the base of the hill all the way to the top.

The Naina Devi is The great and wonderful experience for me its top on a hill and a beautiful views have forest around the Tempe area and also some Buddhist lives 8 to 900 meters form the Tempe. Theres also having seven lakes which is relates to Mahabharata periods have religious mean.

This is a temple which is situated in Himachal Pradesh and the best part is the place gives a stunning and amazing view. One would live to come every month. Nice and safe place. Locals are helpful but be aware of monkeys. Now this is not for people suffering from asthama as its located slightly higher than the usual. A good 3-4 hrs of drive. If you are coming in summer then you can buy the Himachali mangoes. The place offers a lot. Free floating river and dense forest.....makes it one of the best one!!!!
