I found this place very calm and natural, holy place to spend quality time, on can spend whole day here, its a beautiful temple surrounded by river, but the only thing is this beautiful place is getting waisted due to lack of maintenance.

I used to visit here when i was a kid with my dad. There were lots of monkeys here then. It is a very old temple. It needs some structural development. I have many memories here!

Mahamrityunjaya temple established in the old fort of Rewa. The center of faith of the whole of Rewa. In the winter there is a lot of congestion every Monday. Due to the erosion of Shivling, water is not allowed to be offered directly to the Shivling. The Shiva lingam is covered with a plastic. Awesome Shivalinga and fruit bearing Mahadev.

There is a great need to save and ride this place of worship ... The neglect of temples is not in the interest of Rewa ... They can be centers of tourism and development ... But the administrative neglect of their years is a cause of worry. Due to which this temple is on the verge of destruction ..
