Historic temple with typical kokan style architecture. A hub of social activities in Cahul Revdanda area of Alibag. There is big square pond in front of the temple which is locally called pokhran or talav. During monsoon it gets full up to brim and popular among locals particularly youth for swimming. Good place for spiritual as well physical enlightenment.l

Its near my native nandgaon n I love this temple specifically for its houdh which means the water reserve in front of the temple it has so many fishes in them u can even feed them biscuits I do it every time I visit this place, the whole vibe of this place is so cultural n spiritual you can spend hours over here its calm n peaceful yet fun n crazy with the fishes they are always hungry the place is lovely and a must visit

On Ganesh Chaturthi Ganesh visarjan is done here. Its a sad part but there is so positive energy, which makes us feel energetic. Here when there is no visarjan, I used to go to swim. Its amazing in a great weather.

Rameswar temple situated at Choul on Alibag to J Murud road. Temple constructed by late Ahilyadevi Holkar. A big lake constructed in front of temple. Location is very beautiful.
