I prefer this venue very much. It has a friendly atmosphere. The meals are great. the service is efficient and the personel is professional. The price is fair. truly recommend.
Been here a few times. Sure hope it opens back up soon.
Theres enough food there that you will find something you like. However, its not normal for me to try something I like elsewhere and not want to eat it. but that is what happens here more often than not. They have yet to fix the lighting: I like to be able to see my food instead of looking like someone placed s poorly lit spotlight over the table. The staff are normally pretty awesome and overall this place is ten times better than the old Silver Legacy buffet.
Overall the meats such as: ribs, prime rib, sausage, and steaks are all very good and seasoned well and tender. I cam for the crabs legs and I like them steamed. The cold ones taste better than the steamed and I used the butter to warm them. My husband enjoyed the dessert. The servers were superb!
Fantastic food. Great price. The crab and shrimp were amazing. Also enjoyed the steak and prime rib. The dessert station is fantastic. Thank you for supporting our veterans.
I love coming here for holiday dinners! There is usually a long line so come earlier than you normally would. Its also more expensive, but well worth it!! Ive been coming here for several years and its consistently good food. I highly recommend you eat the mushroom ravioli, its absolutely delicious!
We ate the buffet tonight. We did not think that the $77 dollars we paid for 2 people was worth it. The food was ok but definitely not worth $36 dollars a person. The only good thing about the buffet was the desserts. Our waitress was very attentive and nice as well. We also get that it was a seafood buffet but there needs to be more options for people who do not care for seafood.
Buffet was pretty good. Price was 35.99 for weekends. Quality was good. Selection was great. Snow crabs, crab legs were awesome. Its price is worth the quality of food they serve and staff was excellent.
Their prices for the cost of the buffet are based on tier level based on their players card which is so unfair and unethical! Because i was issued a bronze card from the players club it did not entitle me to no discount off from their breakfast, only the higher tier level card memberships qualify for a discount, and last but not least they highly recognize their corporate presidents with the cheapest price for their buffet. Well i forked out over $19 dollars for a breakfast that consisted of cold sausage gravy on biscuits, along with a homemade omelette with little to no fillings in it, and a chef who had an attitude of not wanting to be there! Walked over to the fresh fruit table only to grab a banana that was many days old and full of brown spots and soggy...disgusting! Their hash browns were disgusting and filled with hot peppers and were simply all dried out...Yuk! Their dessert table was very limited to small tiny muffins, cookies and tiny cream flavored dessert cups. No pies or cakes! Im only rating two stars simply because the server brought me two tall glasses of cranberry juice when I was seated for the buffet. The server was very fortunate that I even left her a small tip considering the quality of the food was NOT WORTH the $19 i paid!! I will be going elsewhere for a breakfast buffet where the food is served hot and is in better quality. So very disappointed in this restaurant!
Went for Thanksgiving buffet. They ran out of pumpkin pie! $46 for a buffet, I expect higher quality. Had to wait in line for mashed potatoes which ran out before I reached the front of the line twice! Third time waiting in line I finally got mashed potatoes. The stuffing was mushy. The dark meat turkey tasted funny as in rank to me, but I have a very sensitive stomach and pallet when it comes to meat. The white meat was good. The best thing I ate was the turkey pot pie. The romaine lettuce looked unwashed and I had to carefully pick through it before eating my salad.
Very nice waiter. As usual, a good spread. Gorged out on the steak, ribs, and brisket--so much so my stomach hurt when I left. Spicy chicken is not really spicy. Smoked salmon was also good. Always a stop when staying in Reno.
Ok, so its a little pricey... But its worth every penny!! The food is by far the best out of any buffet Ive been to here in Reno!! The mushroom ravioli I could live on. I didnt find any of the desserts to be particularly great but everything else was AMAZING!!
One of the best buffets I have been to. Everyday is a different menu. I was there on Sunday morning. Prime rib and seafood. Complimentary mimosas if you like to drink. Build your own omelettes and panckes. So much food at a fair price.
The Buffet at El Dorado Casino in Reno is great! I recommend anyone with a healthy appetite to come here! The food is very well prepared and the chefs are ready anytime to accommodate any need or want you have! If u have kids, the dessert counter is gonna make their day!! Check this place out if your in the area!
We like to go to the seafood buffets about once a year. It’s fun and everyone gets what they want without waiting (once you get in) Go early. We waited in line for about 45 minutes. You have to walk through a lot of cigarette smoke to get to the restaurant and we don’t like that part. But food is fairly good.
Great but a tad pricey. 50$ for 3 people. Otherwise Id put five stars up there if the price was more reasonable. This by far is one my favorite buffets in Reno, and thats fairly hard to come by for me since Im so picky. Note Ive only been here on weekends so this review is solely based on the food offered to me during those days of the week, so I cant say what its like during the weekdays.
Nice assortment of food for brunch. Our waiter was terrific, he kept the champagne flowing and he has a wonderful voice! Next time were here well choose the buffet again.
Food is fine, but it doesnt cost it. The line is too big, still it doesnt cost too much. The food is good-quality,but still nothing specialI Recommend to go around city and find a restaurant there,it even will be cheaper, then buffet.
Are you kidding!?! There is NO NEED to rate this place its an obvious TEN across the board and Im so glad we took the kiddos. Totally worth every penny. The beef chow mein, the pepperoni PIZZA I mean COME ON! The only downside cold shrimp and the crab legs are so skinny its almost not worth it to work to get to the meat. Other than that everyone found something for themselves and every child was happy! Thats just about unheard of!
It was really good, deep inside the El Dorado they have some good selections. I would even say its better than Atlantis buffet( which I have been there too many times to count, maybe I got bored with it.) They have a whole variety of pasta they do lack a pho bar though. I dont have much to complain about this place, overall I liked it.
I was pleased with this for breakfast. You are.basically going to pay $15 for breakfast anywhere in the casino, so why not take in 6,000 calories for the same amount? Very good service. The food was varied and very tasty. Made to order omelettes and pancakes as well. Tons of sweet treats to induce diabetes, if that is your thing. I would go back for sure.
Really Nice buffet selection and friendly staff. Pricey on holidays. Downtown Reno atmosphere.
Adequate.....not great but adequate. A bit overpriced for what it is. With tip breakfast for two is close to$40. If youre a gorilla that eats mass quantity its a good deal. Otherwise you can do better for the same.....or less
Went for breakfast it was about 40 dollars for the 2 of us. Very expensive. Food is average. 40 dollars really?. .....thank you for your response but your price is higher then the lunch buffet at Tuscan Charlies and they have much more selection of meat and seafood. So why is your price so high for breakfast?
This buffet is always amazing. Breakfast, lunch, dinner ALL great. Just wish lunch and dinner had a little more different options available from one another. Lunch and dinner usually have the same options Monday through Thursday.Always clean and usually friendly staff. If you have a One Club Players card Silver or above you get great discounts on the buffet.
Buffet food and the atmosphere at this place is super good. Nice location to meet with family. The bill was decent for the quality. Kinda of like a place in Houston that I enjoyed.
Extremely disappointed!!!!! Yes there was a very big assortment of food. That food was not good though. The noodles on everything were all hard and the sauces not good. The chicken was horrendous and had a weird texture. The pizza was basically the only decent thing to eat. The gelato seemed like it was in the freezer too long. All the other deserts were hard. The salad bar was decent. I would not recommend to anyone. I read all the wonderful reviews before I chose this place and I wanna know what drugs those people were on that said this place was good. Save your money and go elsewhere. I would rather go back to the small selection of buffet at the sands regency again because even though small that place had good flavors on all the food.
They sometimes run out of stuff if you go late so get there early. Otherwise the food is very tasty for the price. Dont expect five star food but if youre really hungry they have a lot of variety. Its really good at the brunch time.
Worth the price. Great staff. 5 star food. So many wonderful choices.
OMG THE AMOUNT OF FOOD! CRAZY COOL!My first buffet so... Still it was life changing!👍
Not very good. I miss the circus circus buffet. They have some pretty okay choices but most of it tastes like it was warmed up from a freezer.
Best casino buffet in all of Reno. Always clean with great tasting food. The service is usually good as well. Havent met a rude employee, but, have gotten ignored concerning getting our initial drinks a few times. This unfortunately does happen frequently. Other than that we go to this buffet a few times a month because of the amazing food and great price for Silver card members.
Saturday night seafood and prime rib night. Everything was fresh and delicious. Lots to choose from from fresh crab legs to prime rib, brisket, turkey, ham and even sausage at carving table alone. Gelato dessert bar yum.... I thought at first it was a little pricey ($125 3 adults 2 kids) but quality of food and wonderful service made it well worth it.
Great food. And our server was awesome. Salvador PerezWill keep coming beacuse of him.
We went the buffet for Sunday brunch. The price is very affordable. It was $20 per person. The selection of foods was limited for a casino buffet.Their BBQ brisket was delicious.Their stir fry in Asian foods was good too.The salad bar was boring. They did not even have nuts or meat besides bacon in toppings.I was disappointed that they only had pies and cheesecake in sugar free options. They do not even offer sugar free ice cream.Though it was not sugar free, pistachio and coffee gelato were pretty good.We requested 2 cups of coffee, but they did not come until we asked again. We never got asked for refills.I do understand that it was a busy hour and it probably was in short of servers to pay attention to empty drinks, but it was a bit of inconvenience.
My partner and I bought a lemon cake at the restaurant next to the buffet and it mustve weighted 20lbs. And rich? I say its richer than President Donald Trump. And Trump is a multi billionaire.
Food was excellent $$ clean Fernando outstanding service great sense of humor very clean but best part was the dessert 😋😋 little chocolate balls OMG. If I had had one of those before eating anything else that would have been all I would have eaten
My experience was very pleasant. My server Fernando was very helpful and very accommodating hes definitely an asset to this restaurant.
We were told Its the best seafood buffet! Worst suggestion EVER! Dont waist your money! Food was cold. Crab had no flavor and was not cooked properly. Brisket was dryer than the turkey from National Lampoons Christmas Vacation! Prime rib was dry also! The clam chowder had an after taste that can not be described in words. My husband spent the night in the bathroom, proclaiming he was pretty sure it was the muscles!! Our first clue should have been that there was no line out the door. They need a Restaurant Rescue for sure!!
A very good buffet breakfast at the El Dorado hotel/casino. With very good service from the employees there.
Buffett was good, with king crab legs, peel and eat shrimp, brisket and prime rib. I left completely stuffed
Overpriced for the quality. $15.99 for adults. The breakfast choices were the most disappointing. The only good thing was the fresh fruit.Would not recommend, especially if you are looking for a quick bite to eat.
Ive been here many times always clean and staff is nice. Buffet always stocked with fresh food.
Food is not that good seems like they bring out old food . it is not fresh. if you want good and tasty i wouldnt go here.
Very good buffet with many choices to choose from. Food is always fresh and well prepared.I would rate this buffet right behind the Atlantis buffet which is my favorite in Reno.Didn’t give a 5 star rating due to their limited dessert selection. Gelato is fine and all but, sometimes I just want some good ole ice cream with my cake.
I paid $45 for food that has is bland. The calamari taste like eggs, ugh, the prime rib is nasty and the clam chowder has no flavor. They have bottomless alcoholic drinks that are watered down by the second glass The location is very nice and the staff is friendly, but I didnt want my money to go to an understaffed service with sub par food. This place is nasty, this was a waste of my money and I have a headache from this whole experience. They couldnt even get the drinks right!
Its alright. If you have food allergies or Crohns triggered by certain food, the head cook will personally walk you through to make sure you know whats what. Hes very nice. However, you may have a very limited selection. I hope they do more gluten free stuff in the future and start marking signs with whats what.
It was my husbands fav place to eat he passed a few days ago so we had a dinner for him the food is amazing as always
Good food. Had breakfast here. Decent selection
Great crab legs, best raviolis ever.Service was wonderful. Could expand Sushi..
It is a better than average casino buffet for breakfast. Lots of choices. Fresh fruit, meats, eggs. And custom built omelets. Many choices of juice, coffee that you can drink. The service was okay for a busy place. Uses your player card of a silver or higher for a discount. This is a better deal than the cafe.
Far less than I expected, though servers were very friendly. Flat omelet with cold fixings; pancake cant melt butter - at all; runny scrambled eggs, and not available from omelet station; no icecream, but donuts for dessert? Better cinnamon rolls from a can, sausage patty was cold with little flavor.
Selection of food deserves the 4 stars. Quality of food is 3 out of 4, sometimes less, desserts are 5 out of 5, and the workers deserve 10 out of 5. Lol. They were fantastic, attentive and kind. Still enjoyed the meal and you get a lot of choices. Very much enjoyed the family breakfast.
The meats and all hot foods were cold. I got there around 4:15 pm. No reason to serve cold food that should be hot. What a disappointment
Amazing breakfast buffet. Great food great prices!
The food was not at all what I expected for 21 dollars and change per person.. the front of the house staff were more than adequate... They were polite and courteous.. The management would only refund one meal even though we both complained probably wont return. The casino was enjoyable.
This is the buffet at the El Dorado. I think that it is the best in Reno. Many great choices of meat and sides.
Everything I tried was amazing! the in house made gelato should be against the law it was so good!
Disappointed with the selection of food. Reminds us of a hometown buffet restaurant. Especially for the price. Not at all worth the money paid. No need to come back. The service was good but that’s about it.
On seafood special day, I found they are serving this freshest oyster. This was unbelievable. I had never seen this much fresh oyster in any buffets in Reno. I dont even remember how much I ate them. Also, the pizza they serve is the best pizza in Reno, I swear. Dessert also has a lot of selection. Their gelato is go-to thing, of course. Asian cuisines are yummy too! Eldorado buffet is something.
Good food. Pretty good service. There is a variety of types of food so, such as Chinese and Mexican selections and American comfort food like fried chicken and mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and gravy, variety of salad bar offerings. Oh and PIZZA
Have eaten here many times with my wife, and have never been disappointed. Food is excellent, staff is courteous and kind. Only problem is I always leave feeling slow and wanting a nap, but I guess that would be a positive for them, as well.
Wonderful food at a good price. The dessert counter NEVER disappoints!
Used to be worth an hour long wait. Now theres a 15min wait and it aint worth it. Weekends its not that bad...but sometimes I wanna eat too much on a week day, and not leave sad
Great buffet with a variety of options from Italian to Asian to a vast salad bar and variety of meats. The price is competitive to other buffets in the area and for the wide offering and quality I feel the price is reasonable. The wait staff was kind and attentive and I never had to wait long for my water to be refilled. The food was quite good and although some dishes were a little less spectacular than others, everything was pretty good. The fried polenta was definitely oversalted, and the brisket could have used a bit more. Although it was tender and not too dry, the brisket was lacking in flavor. Overall a good buffet that I would not be opposed to eating at again.
Fresh, my favorite buffet in reno. safe room for gelato its the best
The Eldorado Buffet is the best we have ever eaten at. Whenever we come up, usually a couple of times a month we eat at least one meal there. The food options change often and the price makes it a great deal!
Lunch was very good. Huge selection high quality food. They do ask that you tip up front prior to your meal which I dont like as I tip on performance of server not anticipated performance... recommend you bring cash for the tip so you can tip afterwards
The food is always very good. And the staff is very courteous and helpful.
Very good as far as buffet food goes. A lot of selection and all good quality. They also have a huge dessert bar.
$65 for both me and my wife to eat here and would definitely not recommend I would have been better off going to Panda Express for quality of food. How is it possible for fettuccine to void of any sauce ranch dressing to taste like vinegar and the bread rolls to be stale. Any future stays in Reno I will avoid the Row and stay at the peppermill. Just in complete shock that eldorado has such low standards for food quality. This definitely would never fly Las Vegas. Definitely would not recommend save your money can get a better meal IHOP.
I am always very happy with this buffet. I am local & have tried them all. This is the best for the price unless you cannot enjoy without OYSTERS ON THE HALF SHELL -- then it has to be GSR. But much higher price.
If you a sea food fun, you may like this place, not my case
Tasty dinner selections with a generous carving station along with a variety of seafood dishes. Long line to get in, but it went fairly quick.
Delicious as always year after year. Especially the Pasta!
Nice selection. Good buffetWe always go here when in town
Great selection of food. Delicious options. Awesome service.
Pretty high $18.39 on the buffet. Try all the food.and ice cream. Man it was the bomb! That was good valve.
Thank for the great brisket and shrimp.. I made a mess.. N the rest was my favorite...
Great selection of different types of cultural food. Seasoned nice
Cold food, would be much better if it was warmer. Limited options in Sunday Brunch, Id say not worth the price.
Nice food spread. Awsome service
A Reno classic. Good hearty food polite service retro decor. Marvelous place to lunch or have a dinner date.Food is warm tasty and satisfying.
One of best buffet experiences I’ve had. Plenty of good options. Love the gelato
The buffet was ok at best. The turnover with food seems a bit long. Meats were no longer warm, desserts were dry. I understand this is a buffet, but seriously- Golden Corral is probably more dependable for dinner. The service was friendly and prompt.
They have a huge selection of items to choice from. Thought it was a fair price at 25 a plate.
The worst. Rafel was the worst server and a raw piece of prime rib was ask for. All he could deliver was a burn, piece of dried meat.
Its a good buffet. It is really large with many food options. They will fix you a custom omelet for breakfast or if you are into desserts with your breakfast (which I am not :)) they have a beautiful display of sweets. If you like meat, which I do, there are many options. Theres nothing off the charts here but its a great deal for regular food. Its also entertaining to watch how much food people can pile on their plates. You dont have to get it all in one go!The service there is very good.
Good varieties of food to choose from. The seafood section is good.
Nice place. Good food selection
We have been coming to this buffet for 10 years ,use to pay around 50 dollars for three of us . tonight we payed 81 dollars all meats were dry and desserts like slice of cheese cake are no longer available we will never be returning to this buffet.price gos up quality gos down.
I thought the brisket & the pork ribs was bland. The bacon was crispy but the breakfast sausage was over cooked I think. The French toast was good and the clam chowder was also good. The apple pie was ok. I asked for the pie to be heated but no one had a microwave around. I was going to do an apple pie a la mode as they had an ice cream/ gelato station. One thing that was consistent was that all the staff was nice and the service was good and very attentive. The 3 stars was for the service mainly.
Pricey but amazing food and selection.
Such a large variety of foods, and it is expensive. I dont eat enough food to pay the price. The only thing is I havent been able to eat gelato, since it had a hair from the server in it, and they didnt do anything about it.
Good food, especially if you can eat a lot.
Excellent service. The mac & cheese is phenomenal! Wide selections of international foods, salads and desserts. Well worth every penny!
Service sucks... I have to keep begging to get more coffee . The waitress is slow and does not have the brain power to look at the empty cup of coffee and think hey maybe this guy and the other people want more coffee. Thats all she does and can not even handle a cup of coffee . The selection of food is good and large .
Food was terrible and out dated. Cooks seem not to care, ad says unlimited mimosas but theyre actually $6.50. Dont come here save your money.
