Lamb Tikka Biriyani fantastic, as was the Chicken Biriyani. Bhindi Bhaji lacked flavour and the veg curry was sweet. All round It was a good takeaway and the service was lovely. Also the food was piping hot. But as I am Asian I guess I am accustomed to a certain level of flavour and punch. Ill be back for the biriyanis for sure!

No sit down meal service and menu was expensive so we walked out of it and went to Da Village on the Oxford Road which was nice.

Had a few poor meals from other restaurants recently so i thought id give ZYKA a go this is the best place for a indian in reading its a shame i could only give 5☆ it should be more

Absolutely outstanding, I have ordered many times from this restaurant and not once have I been disappointed, they are always very polite and courteous with a delivery service that is second to none.If I could give 10 stars, I would.Keep it up Team Zyka.

Was our first time here, ordered a takeaway, was very impressed as was ready bang on time. We ordered a selection and the Bombay aloo was just like my mums cooking. All the food was not just heat but had lots of taste. Will definitely be going back

Customer service is appalling! Would have given 0 stars!! I placed an order over the phone today. When I asked what a special fried rice was, the guy said to me ‘peas and stuff’When I asked him what he means by ‘stuff’ he did not like the question, however said eggs and peas. When asked how long would it take to deliver he said over an hour. I waited for an hour and 20 mins to call again to find out where the food was. The same guy picks up and instead of giving me the status of the delivery he says ‘told you would be over an hour’. I said yes I do understand that but would like to know how long should I have to wait for! Then the unbelievable thing happened! He asked me to calm down!!! Like seriously! I was not even hyper to start with for him to calm me down! Anyway the calm down comment really riled me up! I said I don’t have to calm down and he started saying something which I did not pay any attention to and I cut the call.I made another call and I said I would like to speak to the manager! The same rude guy picked up and I can hear him say to someone that I want to speak to the manager and I can hear the manager saying in the background I don’t have the time now and find out what it is about! Finally someone else picked the phone, I explained the whole situation and obviously he apologised said they were extremely busy today etc etc, when I asked him whether he was the manager he said ‘sort of’. He said the driver is on the way! Placed the order at 17:50, now it’s 19:27, still waiting for my food! Wonder whether it will turn up or not!So if you are really hungry think twice! Also wonder how the food is going to be as this is the first time we have ordered from here, most probably will be the last one as well going by the customer service!

Excellent place. Delicious food and the staff were really polite and nice. Also I must mention there was this extremely amazing bloke with round glasses who served me. He was very quick and met all my needs. Would 100% without a doubt go again.

Without a doubt the best Indian restaurant in reading. Ive tried them all and believe me this one is the best. Food is not greasy it is all fresh and the delivery is very fast. The samosas are lovely. Will be ordering again for sure

Food is always amazing and lots of it

As a regular visitor to Indian restaurants, I can without doubt say that this is the finest in the area, by a country mile. The ingredients used are top notch, not only are the dishes cooked to perfection, they are also served with a smile! Well done Zyka, fantastic establishment and well continue to visit :)

Just had a delicious meal at the Sunday buffet. Lovely atmosphere and wonderfully authentic food. I was especially impressed with the onion bhajis and the chicken korma. Excellent prices as well. Thank you for great meal.

Ordered our first take away last night and have to say it was one of the best indian meals weve had . Absolutely delicious and will be definitely ordering from here from now on . Would recommend highly. Quick delivery service and when my husband got cut off trying to place an order they rung him straight back

Rather disappointed after all the 5 star reviews. Food poor, with one tasting like the super condescend tomato paste you can buy in little cans. Starters were dry. It was extremely expensive for what it was. The staff were lovely though when I picked it up. They said theyd produced over 250 dinners in one evening so perhaps they are a bit of a victim of their own success. A shame.

Really nice flavourful food, friendly staff, air conditioned - which made a big difference during heatwave. Bring your own alcohol was interesting change. Naan breads were thin and bubbly, really nice. Food even looked nice. Shame I forgot to take pics.

Came here tonight with a few co-workers and found this to be the best value for money you can find. Not only did the flavour burst in your mouth, but the service and attention you receive as a customer goes above and beyond.Will be returning again with family soon.

Saw the add of zyka popping up on my fb timeline every alternate day so I started to check the reviews out. As eid was approaching thought will try from zyka. Placed a pre order for £118 and trust me all I’ll say is it was worth every penny. I had guests around for dinner and there was nothing left they ate it all.Everyone kept asking me details of the restaurant.Zyka will be my regular for take aways now no doubt about that.

Awful experience, never been spoken to so rudely. Food was okay but after a really emotional day we all just wanted to go for a nice meal to cheer us up and I was extremely upset with how my family were treated in this restaurant.

Was there for the Sunday all you eat buffet was average for 10 pounds not of lot of choice alot of chicken not much lamb dishes the buffet was underneath the air conditioner unit which didnt look clean was sat by entrance to the toilet which was the best place to sit the good thing about this Indian is you can take your own. Alcohol but I have been to better Indian all you eat buffets staff are friendly and hard working.

Are here last night for my partners birthday with her family. Food and service excellent but we ended up with our (reserved) table being sat next to the rowdiest lot of women it has ever been my displeasure to come across. Clearly the worse for alcohol, they were shouting at one another so loudly that we were unable to have a conversation on our table. That, coupled with their liberal use of the F word made dining an experience I wont be repeating in a hurry! Management - you need to deal with issues like this immediately. You should have told them that, unless they behaved themselves, they would have to leave and not just ignore their bad behavior. Possibly the worst dining experience I have ever had and it ruined what should have been a special night.

Busy night but they managed to fit us in. They even worked with us to find the cheapest way of giving us the meal we wanted. Id never been there before and was amazed by the quality of the food. Definitely somewhere I would go again.

Had a great meal here last Friday. Staff friendly and not too over attentive.Bringing your own drinks really saves a lot, you can order even more food!Only complaint from me is its very noisy when full, could do with some soft furnishings.

The buffet food was awful+ the service was terrible and there is no place to put the lid of the containers and because of that it was so embarrassing disturbing the other customers while they were trying to get their food.the food had no taste, really changed the real taste of Indian food. Disappointing. And at the end of our awful experience, the bill completely shocked us, £15 for poppadoms, oh hell no! I told my dad to report this, but he is a kind guy and he paid quietly and left.I wouldnt recommend to go!

Well what a lovely surprise. After a late evening doctors appointment nearby I decided to treat myself to a curry and asked in the local boozer where the nearest curry palace was. They pointed me 500 metres down the road to Zyka. Outstanding food, friendly service, busy enough on a Tuesday night without being overwhelming. Massively recommended. Enjoy!

The food is always gorgeous from Zyka. Its delivered within the promised window every time and is still piping hot on arrival.If we decide to eat at the restaurant, were always made to feel welcome and the staff are efficient and friendly.

Was looking forward to going to zyka all week only to be disappointed. The staff was nice but did not do a good job on explaining their self properly. The restaurant was very full we was not aware we had to make reservations. The staff who served us. Explained their is 20 minutes wait and we all miss understood each other because me and my husband heared their will be a free table in 20 minutes so me and hubby decided to wait and said this to the staff. After sitting down for almost 10 minutes the staff then made it clear we had less than 20 minutes to eat. Who can eat that fast? Deffenetly not me. I understand it was very busy and guy was rushed off his feet but please pay attention to costumers and explain properly because me and my hubby keep going over it and we are 100% sure the guy said if we can wait 20 minutes their will be a free table Not very happy as we dont eat out much due to work and kids first night out alone in a long time. And had to look else were to eat. Not sure we will be coming again as customer service was not a 100%. And i have worked in busy food places and i never spoke to a customer like i was spoken to. Communication and eye contact is very important to run a business no matter how rushed off your feet you are.
