Siva temple (Nagalagudi) at Rayachoti Village of Nandavaram Mandal, it is 90 Kms from Kurnool. The Siva Temple locally known as Nagulagudi is exisiting 1 Kms away towards the Southern side of the present village in the plain agriculture land. The traces reveal that the village was once in habitated near our Protected Monument and some or other reasons they have migrated from this place to the present place.The Monument is a ruined non-living temple and only on some particular days the people come and worship. Basing on its Architectural features of this temple can be subscribed to the western Chalukyan period of around 8th C A.D period and built with brown sand stone and similar to that of Alampur temples. The top portion structures like Vimana and Sikhara are missing. The entrance portico is beautifully decorated with Nataraja, number of loose sculptures are noticed, scattered in the premises. A 8th C A.D Characters old Telugu-Kannada script inscription on a stone and Inscribed on both side is noticed..
