Dharkundi is a divine place located 50 kms from Chitrakoot. Maharaj Satchidanandas Paramahansa Ashram has put tourism and spirituality in a thread in the midst of the mountain caves, the rare rock paintings, the stream of water flowing continuously from the mountains, the deep trenches and the thick forest surrounded by it. . Valuable medicines and fossils are also found here. It is believed that during the Mahabharata period, the famous dialogue of Yudhishthira and Daksha took place in a pool here, which is called Aghamarshan Kund.
