Alavaimalai, which is located in the Vannandur Union Territory of Rasipuram Circle, Namakkal District. The hill is one of the eastern hills of Tamil Nadu. Subramanya Swamy Temple is located on the western half of the hill on half a hill. The Kashmir-Kanyakumari National Highway, the Rasipuram-Ilampillai District Highway and the Rasipuram-Tiruchengode State Highway intersect at the Rasipuram suburb near the hill. There is also the Attanur Forest Extension Center.
