This is the temple of Mother Bhagwati. Goddess Bhagwati is Mamatamayi. They always show compassion to their devotees. As the mother always has affection for her sons, in the same way, the goddess is kind to the virtuous people who come to her shelter. Here, worship is done for nine days in every Navratri.
