One of the biggest grounds in Ranchi besides Morabadi ground. Great place for cricketing activity. Cultural festivals, handicraft fairs etc. keeps getting organised here. Overall good experience. Urban conglomerations need public grounds like these. Very easy to find as it is located beside the main road of Harmu.

Harmu ground is most popular among youngsters. All age group spend their time in morning and you can see ground is busy, as many sports activity happens. You cant find green grass and walking, pull up, twister, cricket practice zone are available. I love the small small group play different spots like cricket, football, tennis. You will not feel bored here. I go for running and exercise in morning. You will get energy from the crowd in the ground.

This is my second home!!My Cricket club. I can give detailsOkay so here we go,Its a big size ground almost in a shape of square here there are two cricket coaching one is harmu youth and other is Argora cricket Club both clubs are good and there is also a football club , there are two gates on opens from the colony road and other opens from the harmu chowk road, so its has a cemented path all around the ground and its circumference is of 600metresMany beautiful girl comes for walk and the other boy also walks just to stalk them, boys health gets better just because of girls.. No i dont stalk them, because we sre cricketers, we ourselves got much attitude , Hnn so anywayYes not only young people but aunty uncles also do bricks walks , one side near the ground every one go to pee so it stell on the eastern end near harmu youth coaching... Yes ground is very much good when it comes to safety, girls walk even in darkness without fear and there is always a croud till 8pm , during morning specially on Sunday its too crowded... There used to be a Martial art club at the west -north end now its converted to badminton area surrounded by tress, football and cricket is the main game played here moreover at afternoon cricket club takes over thr ground!There is a good parking space for cars and bike and there is a bangali sweet shop near where samosa cold drinks and sweets are available, so basically this ground has harmu housing colony in South and harmu market in north, Sehajanand chowk at east and dhoni old house at west, yes at evening chaiwala also comes to serve you chai, never expect it for free, , harmu ground used to have lots of grasses but now is almost bald , only got soil, yes there are few grass in the east side, so basically is a good ground and come and Enjoy your lyf

This ground is covered through boundary wall across all the corner and visible from the road surface level around it.This ground is being used for sports purposes. It also contains pathways for the walks around the periphery and some plantation across the boundary wall. This place also gets utilized for several events, exhibitions, rally’s, and festival purposes. Easily accessible by public transport such as bus and also through shared autorickshaws. Nearness to eating place, transport facility and visibility makes it a good place.

Mela with many items but few were unique

This place is located in the heart of Ranchi. Went there for Shilp mela.The ground is reachable from all places and is open from all sides.However there is lack of parking space and vehicle needs to be parked nearby only.

Located at the Harmu Chowk, it has ample space for organising medium sized gatherings like Melas and all. Also it hosts a number of small scale cricket and football matches from time to time.

A big ground for public at a large. But the use of ground for business activities should be stopped. Since, other small grounds have been converted into gardens by the municipality, pressure on this ground has been increased tremendously. There should be a balance ground and gardens. Now gardens are increasing that means playing areas are reducing. I dont know how authorities are taking this but this is not a good sign for future.

Its the ground where once ms dhoni used to play matches. Today also lots of youngsters come to this ground daily. District administration could have done a far better job by making this ground beautiful. But, no vision on this.Anyways very good place to jog, play or roam around located at the main chowk. If u r living around harmu, must go for morning or evening walk.

Its a huge ground for outdoor game, suitable for public meeting. Enough car parking space. Well connected to Harmu bypass road for public transport.

Once it used to be a paradise for children. Every child living nearby visited their for playing. But now it has turned into a place for commercial use for political, social and other functions.And on other days 3/4th of the field is solely occupied by the football academy and 1/4th by the cricket academy. There is hardy space left for local kids to play.
