Though the river bank was very dirty a few years ago but the volunteers of local area contributed man hours to clean the Ghats and managed to minimize pollution of the old and renowned river. The Ghats are clean and surrounded by fresh plantation now. Very good place for morning/evening walk within the local limits.

Nice place to visit

A good place to sit and relax, has bences and calm environment. Basically it is an cremation ground but less often busy.Only flaw of this place is the polluted river due to unauthorized disposal of sever waste in this River, by the foolish people of this city.Although has a mini Forest nearby which is good for photo sessions.
