One of the worst school in Ranchi. Teachers are rude in behave and misguided to children. They dont know about teaching ethics. Rashmi pandey is one of them, she mentlly harass 3rd standard students misbehave with parents as well pressurised children.

Locality is nice.you can easily drive here..or public transportation is also easily accessible. Shops are nearby and also you will find cofe cafe nearby.

I was a student of DAV Kapildev for about 8 years and I will not recommend this school for an overall development of a child .Because the infrastructure is not good (built in a small space) and discipline is loose ..the school itself never conducts assembly and I even saw some students using gadgets(smartphones)in campus, I also saw some teachers humiliates students for unreasonable basis, our principle doesnt know to speak english and school events are randomly takes place , I even saw junior students abuse to teachers ,the boys toilets are badly maintained and less than half of the toilet seats are broken, half of computers in computer lab are just a show piece,the study is impossible when independence/republic day approach due to loud noise and beating of drums and parade in small area of school ...But also in other hand ,teaching system is good ,library is well maintained and exams and syllabus completion goes in time..so the school is good but not in all aspects...

One of the worst schools in Ranchi. If you want to ruin your life then only take admission here. Teachers like Rana sir and Sanjay Sir are highly biased.They will make sure that you feel humiliated all the time. Most of the teachers are orthodox. They will take revenge from you especially in class XI. Teachers are supposed to support students even if the student is naughty but they will not do that. Instead of supporting you they will force you to get TC. Schools are ment to improve life of children but this school does the opposite. I am a former student of DAV KDPS and have spent about 14 yrs (LKG to 12th) in this school and I can say that it provides a good learning atmosphere, excellent faculty members, opportunities to learn and grow. Other than teaching the regular syllabus, there are many challenges given to the students as the school focus on for all round development of each student.

Good place to study . Dont prefer if u are preparing for competitive exams bcz there is a long duration of time you will have to spend there(about 7 hrs) and also bcz of 75% attendance is required. But if anybody is boards focused only then its good. There are some teachers who are not that great but its ok. But other faculty members are very nice . Mr. S.K. Jha sir is one of best CS teacher all over the ranchi zone. He is just exceptionally well with his crystal clear knowledge in the subject .
