Indias only institute based on exclusively foundry and forging discipline. NIFFT Ranchi is a very nice college. Majorly this is a materials and manufacturing engineering cultured institute. Huge workshop facility is available. Apart from that various manufacturing processes are also well accessible. Excellent green environment inside the campus. Hostels are well equipped and maintained, faculties are very experienced also. Overall pretty nice but improvement of research culture is needed.

The college is very good and well decoraded,,, but the attitude and the behavior of the most of the stuffs and sir is very badI went there during the time of lockdown for some small official purpose,, but for lockdown alll the classes were suspended, so they do not have any pressure,, but they took 5 to 6 hour intentionally for a little signature,The staffs are misusing the power of being a government employees

Having studied here I would rate this college as awesome, The campus is good,not as good as private colleges or IITs but yes good enough, green enough. Workshops and Labs were built ages ago, and need to be revamped, and expanded for future use. Workshop is awesome, but yes, needs care. A new Lecture hall has been built to accommodate greater number of students. Gymkhana and the new hostels are also good. All in all, a chill place to spend 4 years of your life. :)

It is an autonomous and Centrally Funded Technical Institute (CFTI) under Ministry of Human Resource Development(MHRD), Government of India.The institute offers Post Doctoral, Doctoral and Masters program at the graduate level and Bachelors program as well as Advanced Diploma Courses at the undergraduate level. The objectives of the institute have broadened to meet the present need of the industries, with the introduction of departments of Manufacturing Engineering in 1985 and Materials and Metallurgical Engineering in 1998.

Asias only college for Foundry & Forge, therefore has its own impression. Campus Life, Clubs, etc. all are simply the best. If you are a JEE aspirant. Do not forget to mention this college in your Seat Allotment options.

Proper arranged

The management of college sucks. I was a student of this college and I will simply say that they do not help students in any way. They never coordinate with students when students need a help. MHRD should take a feedback from all students (even passed out) of this college and then everything will be crystal clear to everyone . And many of them will be sued.

Placement record is awesome. The college has just two branches for b.tech course I.e. manufacturing and metallurgy but it is sure worth pursuing. It has a lush green campus and a great workshop. The college has signed MoUs with a couple of PSUs. The college library (a place that the geeks will surely love) boasts of a number of books related to the latest advances in materials and manufacturing.The strong alumini base is a real asset of the college that has always helped their juniors in every possible manner .Though the website of the college is not well maintained ( credits to not having a cs or it branch) but the college is great for someone who is interested in manufacturing and metallurgy branch of engineering.
